"Shura, your life is now in my hands. I can crush you as easily as I would an ant. Do you feel humiliated?" Miyu leaned close to Mo Ming's ear and said with a seductive smile, "Beg me, Mo Ming. If you beg me, I might let you go."
"Get lost... I wouldn't beg you even if you were my sister-in-law..." Mo Ming's eyes were filled with killing intent, his muscles tensed as he tried to break free from the iron cuffs. Unfortunately, the wounds on his body had not healed, and any effort felt like tearing pain.
Having lived for over twenty years, what kind of strong enemies had he not faced? Hadn't they all fallen at his feet?
But now, he was being bullied by a woman without any ability to resist. Mo Ming was furious, but he felt utterly helpless; all he could do was endure.
Han Xin could endure humiliation; so could Mo Ming. No matter the situation, he would never entertain thoughts of ending his life. A person could only accomplish what they wanted by staying alive. Who hadn't experienced shame?
As long as he was alive, there would be a day for revenge.
"Don't be so grand about it. I know you're not convinced that a woman has her hands around the neck of Shura." Miyu giggled and said, "But you have to admit, I can indeed kill you right now, can't I?"
"Ha! Today, you really can kill me..." Mo Ming's eyes turned red in an instant. Ignoring Miyu's grip on his neck, he roared fiercely, "Falling into your hands is my misfortune. If you're going to kill me, do it quickly. Otherwise, if I get the chance to escape, both you and the Heavenly Ninja Group will live in hell, I promise!"
A dragon has its reverse scale; touching it means death!
Miyu's actions were clearly touching Mo Ming's reverse scale. As long as Mo Ming could survive and escape, there was no doubt that not only Miyu but the entire Heavenly Ninja Group would be shaken. Anyone who crossed that line would be mercilessly killed!
That statement was not arrogant; if an ordinary person said it, Miyu would just laugh it off. But coming from Mo Ming's mouth—even though he was now her captive—it still sent shivers down her spine. She couldn't help but believe him.
Indeed, a young man who could stir up chaos among the Frank Family—who straddled both the underworld and legitimate circles—was someone whose words would instinctively invoke fear in anyone.
After a brief moment of shock, Miyu regained her composure and smiled slyly. No matter how terrifying Mo Ming was, he had become her prisoner now. This place was remote; unless someone knew where to find him, no one would come to rescue him!
"I'm afraid you won't have the chance to leave because you'll stay here forever. No one will save you; you won't be able to escape." Miyu released her grip and sneered, "Don't worry; even if you want to die, I won't let you. I want to keep you by my side forever as my slave!"
"A slave? Even if you wanted to be my slave, you'd be unworthy of it—let alone think that I'd become yours," Mo Ming scoffed coldly. "As long as I'm alive, I'll be a ticking time bomb. You'll never know when I'll explode; by then, it will be too late for your regrets."
"Haha... Nothing is impossible! I've never failed at anything I've set out to do. Just like how I want you alive here—I can make that happen. Shura, just wait for me to command you!" Miyu said triumphantly, proud of her abilities.
"Well, that's true. You want me to live to this point, and here I am. It's a pity that Yamamoto Kyouka has even insulted the sword he has long been obsessed with for this." Mo Ming got to the point, and at this moment, Miyu's consciousness must have relaxed. Anger would not help; it was better to take the opportunity to extract some information.
Mo Ming was filled with doubts about the recent series of events. The Heavenly Ninja Group was the mastermind behind everything, and now they had become prisoners. Miyu was certainly confident that he could not escape and would not be on guard against Mo Ming.
Mo Ming would not let such a good opportunity slip by. He forcibly suppressed his anger at Miyu's humiliation and smiled lightly, saying, "I find it puzzling that Yamamoto Kyouka, who is obsessed with swords, would willingly submit to you. I can't believe you have the terrifying skills to subdue him."
Even without having fought against Miyu or witnessed his strength, Mo Ming knew that Yamamoto Kyouka had reached the peak of his abilities. There were very few people in the world who could surpass him, and Mo Ming's intuition told him that Miyu was not among that select few.
It was like how a perverse master like Evil Eye would willingly work for the Dark Order; there must be some special reason for Yamamoto Kyouka to submit to Miyu. However, that special reason could not possibly be due to lust for Miyu's beauty.
Miyu might be beautiful and charming, but in the eyes of someone who is obsessed with swords, a woman could never compare to a fine blade!
"Ability does not equal skill; these are not equivalent things, and I must correct you on this point," Miyu said coldly. "What you just said is incorrect. I believe my abilities far exceed his. Don't you understand? A woman can accomplish many things that men cannot."
"Oh? Are you willing to sell yourself to achieve your goals?" Mo Ming scoffed. "Isn't what you're talking about built on the foundation of men? Do you think without Yamamoto Kyouka's help, you could capture me? Just relying on Shizuka Domoto and a bunch of useless ninjas?"
"Yes, I rely on you men to get things done, but I don't think that's any less of an ability. You can conquer the world, but as long as I conquer you, then I have effectively conquered the world, haven't I?"
Miyu spoke passionately, ignoring Mo Ming's mockery while still wearing a proud smile. "Moreover, it's not selling out; it's a transaction. We simply take what we need from each other. Yamamoto Kyouka is alive today thanks to me. Without my rescue, no matter how capable he is, he would have died. So tell me, whose ability is greater?"
No wonder Yamamoto Kyouka hadn't died; it turned out that Miyu had secretly saved him. To repay her kindness, Yamamoto Kyouka would obey her commands. This showed character; despite being obsessed with swords, he understood the importance of gratitude. Such a person indeed deserved Mo Ming's respect. Unfortunately, an enemy is still an enemy; they were always two opposing sides.
"Ah, I see now. I must admit that being able to rescue Yamamoto Kyouka from under the watchful eyes of a certain country shows your considerable ability," Mo Ming said.
"Hmph, I'm glad you know. Whatever I want to achieve or obtain, I will do whatever it takes to get it. And you, Mo Ming, once I set my sights on you, there's no way for you to escape my grasp." Miyu laughed loudly before her eyes turned sharp. "By the way, I've heard you're looking for my father? What do you want?"
"Gong Gao Yi that coward? I'm looking for him naturally to cut off his head," Mo Ming replied flatly. "What's wrong? Knowing I'm a threat to your father has made you want to kill me?"
Miyu concealed her murderous intent and smiled sweetly. "No, I'm not going to kill you. Although you want to kill my father, you won't succeed. And as I've said before, I will make you my slave forever!"
"That may not be the case; perhaps one day I'll manage to escape by luck," Mo Ming said. "You'd better be prepared for death. As long as I'm alive, I will personally end your life."
"Well, let's talk about that when you escape," Miyu replied nonchalantly, reaching out to lightly touch Mo Ming's lips. "This place is very tempting; it will belong to me."
"Don't joke around. That place only belongs to my wife. Clearly, you are not her," Mo Ming said, suppressing the anger inside him and teasing her instead.
Mo Ming had already remembered today's humiliation, but being furious would serve no purpose.
Enduring for a moment would bring calm, and when the opportunity arose in the future, Mo Ming would definitely seek revenge on Miyu.
"Is that so?" Miyu said, pinching Mo Ming's chin and preparing to kiss him forcefully.
A glint of killing intent flashed in Mo Ming's eyes as he suddenly raised his head and slammed his forehead against Miyu's.
"Ouch... that hurts! Mo Ming, you bastard! How ungrateful can you be? I treated you so well, yet you don't appreciate it at all," Miyu exclaimed, covering her forehead, gritting her teeth in anger but refraining from attacking Mo Ming.
"I told you I only belong to my wife. You don't, so if you keep touching me, you'll just end up hurting yourself. If you're angry, feel free to kill me; watching you flustered would be quite amusing."
"Alright then, you're quite stubborn," Miyu said with a laugh fueled by anger. "There's nothing I can't obtain, Mo Ming. Just wait; I'll make you beg for me."
A playful smile crept onto Mo Ming's lips. "Don't worry; I won't beg you. Use whatever means you have."
"I hope you won't regret it. I have ways to make you wish for life and death alike. At that time, you'll definitely obey me."
Miyu said confidently, "Just focus on healing your injuries; this place is very safe, and no one will come to rescue you. Once you're healed, I'll make you my slave."
Looking at Miyu's demeanor, Mo Ming felt a sense of worry. Now trapped in a den of tigers, she could employ any means she wished—he wouldn't know how to guard against it.
"Don't you want to use me in exchange for your husband?" Mo Ming probed, wanting to see Miyu's attitude toward this and hoping to extract more information from her.
"I don't want to. That weak waste of space is useless. If he weren't the future heir of the Frank Family, how could I possibly be interested in him?" Miyu said with a calm smile, "Thanks to you, I no longer have to face that disgusting fool."
"Haha, so you have ulterior motives for marrying into the Frank Family. That old fox Reed is truly pathetic; after being cunning for most of his life, he ends up being toyed with by a woman. I wonder how his face would look if he found out," Mo Ming laughed heartily.
"He won't find out. Our plan was put into action early because of your appearance. I doubt Reed will ever realize anything until his dying day," Miyu said with a smug smile.
"Plan? What plan?" Mo Ming asked curiously.
The recent events were indeed closely related to the Heavenly Ninja Group, inciting a war between the Dragon Soul Gang and the Frank Family, merely to set them up.
Mo Ming was genuinely curious about the plans and objectives of the Heavenly Ninja Group. Miyu was clearly a pawn in this scheme, while the Dragon Soul Gang was an unexpected variable that wasn't originally part of the plan but ultimately became a catalyst, accelerating their agenda.
What exactly did the Heavenly Ninja Group hope to gain from Reed by orchestrating Miyu as this hidden piece? Power? Status?
Even if they destroyed the Frank Family, they wouldn't obtain these things because the government would never allow them to take over everything related to the Frank Family.
So what exactly were the objectives of the Heavenly Ninja Group? Setting that aside for now, Mo Ming was even more curious about Miyu's true identity.
