Zhuge Sheng's expression turned grim. He thought he had come here fully prepared, but he never expected that Mo Ming had even captured Wang Li. This indirectly meant that he was also in Mo Ming's grasp; if Mo Ming wanted to kill him, there would be no evidence left behind!
"Fine, I can agree to your request from earlier," Zhuge Sheng said with a serious face. "However, if you think you can control my actions and treat me and the Little Green Society as your puppets, you are gravely mistaken. My agreement to cooperate is based on the fact that your demands are not excessive; it is not out of fear for my life. Mo Ming, I hope you understand this!"
Regardless of whether Zhuge Sheng was truly afraid for his life, Mo Ming couldn't be bothered to speculate. He took it as Zhuge Sheng looking for a way to save face. Since Zhuge Sheng had agreed to cooperate, Mo Ming naturally would provide him with an opportunity.
"Rest assured, Zhuge Sheng. I can guarantee that as long as you do not provoke me, I will not interfere with the Little Green Society's influence in Nanhua City," Mo Ming said with a slight smile. "I wonder if you find my sincerity sufficient?"
"I hope you remember your words. If I find out you're lying, even if it means mutual destruction, I will make sure you live in hell!" Zhuge Sheng's eyes were filled with killing intent, displaying the demeanor of a powerful leader. He was not intimidated into begging for mercy and maintained an arrogant stance.
"I will remember that. But Zhuge Sheng, do not turn your weapons against me. If you strike first, don't blame me for being ruthless," Mo Ming said, his expression turning cold for a moment before quickly returning to normal, a hint of a smile on his lips. "Zhuge Sheng, I'll have someone bring food and drinks right away. Please take a seat; I have many cooperative matters to discuss with you that are sure to interest you."
"Interest?" Zhuge Sheng scoffed. "At my current position, there are already many things in this world that can pique my interest. This time, you are forcing me into cooperation; I don't understand what could possibly make me interested!"
Clearly displeased with the methods Mo Ming had employed today, Zhuge Sheng found it hard to swallow his pride. Having lived twice as long as Mo Ming, this cunning fox felt humiliated by being outmaneuvered by a young boy. However, with his life threatened, he had no choice but to compromise.
"Zhuge Sheng has great ambitions; do you only wish to remain in the small confines of Nanhua City?" Mo Ming spread his arms wide, exuding an air of dominance. "This vast world is incredibly prosperous. I can assure you that as long as you are willing to sincerely cooperate with me and step out of Nanhua City, there are possibilities beyond this province and this country!"
It must be said that Mo Ming's words truly stirred something within Zhuge Sheng. Living in Nanhua City was not something he could change; he had always worked hard to strengthen the Little Green Society but felt limited in power and unable to break free from this place. Yet now Mo Ming was telling him that cooperation could lead them out of Nanhua City!
To dominate a broader territory and conquer the world was indeed a man's ambition. Yang Fan's eyes sparkled with desire upon hearing this; for Zhuge Sheng, an ambitious gang leader, it was undeniably tempting—how could he not be moved?

"I have always been one to speak and act boldly. Since I dare to say such things, I must have my plans," Mo Ming replied firmly. "As long as you are willing to cooperate sincerely with me and strengthen our power in Nanhua City first, what’s wrong with wanting to step outside?"
"Nanhua City is located in the southern coastal area and is an emerging place under new policies. On the surface, it seems like only the Little Green Society holds dominance here; however, do you know how long this situation can last?"

Zhuge Sheng paused slightly at Mo Ming's words; they echoed his long-standing concerns. To strengthen their power and maintain dominance in Nanhua City, he had done much—developing the economy and expanding membership—preparing for any external threats that might disrupt the Little Green Society's supremacy.
"Let’s sit down and talk more," Mo Ming suggested with a slight smile. "Ah Yun, please call someone to bring food and drinks up so we can chat while we eat." Upon hearing Mo Ming's words, He Yunsong pressed the service button to summon refreshments.
Zhuge Sheng did not say anything further this time. He brought Yang Fan back and sat down close to Mo Ming, his brow slightly furrowed. "Alright, little brother Mo Ming, stop keeping me in suspense. Just tell me what you've figured out. Why can't the Little Green Society maintain its dominant position for long?"
"The reason is simple. Nanhua City has policy support, and both tourism and commerce are thriving in our country. This is a lucrative land that everyone wants a piece of. In the past, I understood that Nanhua City's development was not well regarded, which allowed the Little Green Society to dominate without any competition."
Mo Ming wore a faint smile as he looked at Zhuge Sheng. "But now it's different. Nanhua City is becoming increasingly prosperous and has already entered the ranks of international metropolises. Naturally, many will come to take a bite of this good meat. I believe you are well aware of the situation, Zhuge Sheng. There are two major underground forces in the south: the Azure Dragon Gang and Hong Gang. "It seems you understand this well. Hong Gang and Azure Dragon Gang are indeed powerful forces in the south. If the Little Green Society were to clash with either of them, it would be like an egg hitting a rock—foolhardy!" Zhuge Sheng shook his head with a bitter smile, feeling somewhat self-deprecating.
"As for why the Little Green Society has been able to maintain its dominance in recent years—or rather, why it still exists—that's because you have allied with the Azure Dragon Gang. With their support, Hong Gang naturally does not dare to act against the Little Green Society lightly."
Mo Ming looked at Zhuge Sheng meaningfully. Before today, he had gathered all the information clearly and knew that Zhuge Sheng had already allied with the Azure Dragon Gang. This was relatively confidential information; however, Mo Ming had a skilled network of informants, making it easy for him to acquire such details.
With sufficient information, Mo Ming felt confident confronting Zhuge Sheng today, compelling this cunning old fox to choose compromise without much effort!
"You are right. Since you are already aware of this, I won't hide it any longer. The Little Green Society appears prosperous on the surface but is actually fraught with crises. To survive in this tight spot, I chose the Azure Dragon Gang as my backing to prevent the Little Green Society from being swallowed by Hong Gang," Zhuge Sheng sighed and said, "Little brother Mo Ming, what you said about cooperating with you to have a chance to leave Nanhua City—is that true?"
Mo Ming's forced cooperation with Zhuge Sheng today indeed angered him greatly; however, Mo Ming's terms for cooperation were too tempting. Zhuge Sheng's ambition was immediately ignited as he thought that if he could really leave Nanhua City, then cooperation was worth considering!
"I said it before; I Mo Ming dare to speak and act. As long as you sincerely cooperate with me and allow me to establish a foothold in Nanhua City first, I will help you achieve your desires."
Mo Ming nodded and said, "Your cooperation with the Azure Dragon Society is not a long-term solution because they also want a taste of this juicy piece of meat in Nanhua City. They cannot continuously support the Little Green Society's dominance. Your best choice, Zhuge Sheng, is to choose me as your ally!"
"Things have come to this point; if I don't cooperate, will you let me leave alive?" Zhuge Sheng laughed and said, "I agree to cooperate; how do you want to proceed? We can discuss the details now."

When the food and drinks were served on the table, Mo Ming and others began to dig in while discussing matters of cooperation.
After talking for almost two hours, the table was a mess. After a hearty meal and drinks, Mo Ming and Zhuge Sheng had nearly finalized their collaboration. Following the earlier discussions, Zhuge Sheng had become much more sincere in his willingness to cooperate, likely hoping to rely on Mo Ming's strength to escape Nanhua City.
Although he wasn't fully aware of Mo Ming's depth of resources, the ability to uncover such hidden matters and capture Wang Li was enough to impress Zhuge Sheng. He had no doubts about Mo Ming at all.
Watching Zhuge Sheng and Yang Fan leave the Phoenix Grand Hotel, the previously silent He Yunsong spoke up with some confusion: "Boss, in this situation, killing Zhuge Sheng would be incredibly easy. Isn't letting him go a bit like releasing a tiger back into the mountains?"
"No, while Zhuge Sheng is indeed a cunning old fox, he is quite intelligent. As long as there are benefits involved, he won't oppose us. The reason for not killing Zhuge Sheng was simple: there was concern that without Zhuge Sheng's leadership, the Little Green Society would descend into chaos. When that happened, not only would Hong Gang and Azure Dragon Gang intervene, but even the Dark Order might come to take advantage of the situation, which would lead to troublesome consequences.

Mo Ming jokingly scolded him: "You little brat prioritize romance over friendship! Go on; I don't need you to accompany me. Go spend time with your sweetheart!"
