Inside the private room, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. After finishing a song, Taylor leaned against Mo Ming's back as they returned to their seats, sitting very close together, causing Mo Ming to feel goosebumps that just wouldn't go away.
"Jiang Zong, did you understand what I said earlier?"
"To be honest, I still don't quite get it. What exactly does Young Master Taylor mean?" Mo Ming replied with a playful smile. Given how far things had gone, it would be terrifying if he still had no clue.
"Alright, I'll be straightforward. You spend tonight with me, and tomorrow, I promise to help you find a suitable piece of land for your tourism business. How does that sound?" Taylor said with an evil grin, sizing up Mo Ming as if he were an old madam assessing a young girl.
Mo Ming was left speechless, feeling frustrated. Taylor's tastes were indeed quite heavy, and his audacity was remarkable. Just as he was contemplating how to refuse while still probing for more information from Taylor, the door was suddenly kicked open.
"Hey you! Get over here! Who dares to mess with my private room? Get lost! This is my reserved room. If you plan on crawling out of here, feel free to stay!"
A man with dyed blonde hair entered, wearing an unbuttoned black leather jacket and leading five or six burly men behind him. He cast a disdainful glance at Mo Ming and Taylor.
"Young Master Ken, you can't disturb..." The manager rushed in, looking anxious as he glanced at the expressionless Taylor and forced a bitter smile while apologizing, "Young Master Taylor, I'm sorry for not stopping them."
"Get lost! What Young Master Taylor!" Ken shouted angrily as he pushed the manager aside with his palm against the manager's face. "I reserved this place first! I don't care who you are; get out of here quickly, or I'll take care of you!"
"Young Master Ken, please give me some face..." The manager was nearly in tears, caught between two difficult situations. However, he felt even more terrified of Taylor. He immediately tried to intervene with Ken again but before he could finish his sentence, Ken kicked him away in anger.
"Give you face?" Ken shouted furiously at the manager. "You bastard! Did you give me face? Huh? Tell me if you gave me face! I was only late for a bit, and you're trying to kick me out? Are you tired of living and want to try another world?"
"No, no, Young Master Ken, I'm doing this for your own good," the manager said with a sorrowful expression, appearing quite innocent. However, Ken was seething with anger and had no intention of listening to him.
"Young Master Ken, take a puff of this cigarette to calm down." A burly man who had entered with Ken stepped forward and handed him a cigarette. After lighting it for him, he retreated.
"Remember this: business here is going to be tough from now on!" Ken took a drag from the cigarette, pinched it between his fingers, and pointed menacingly at the manager before walking over to Taylor.
Ken's behavior since he arrived had been quite arrogant, embodying the type that was just asking for trouble. At that moment, Mo Ming found himself unable to muster any lessons for him; instead, he felt grateful for this arrogant guy's sudden intrusion.
Due to his unexpected arrival, Mo Ming didn't have to rack his brain on how to deal with the pervert Taylor. It was indeed timely, and he felt a bit of sympathy for this poor fellow; offending Taylor was clearly a recipe for disaster.
"After watching the show for so long, aren't you going to scram? Do you really need me to help you crawl out?" Ken sneered with an arrogant expression, casting a disdainful glance at Taylor.
"Manager, this is none of your business. Please leave," Taylor said calmly, then ignored Ken completely. He picked up his glass and clinked it with Mo Ming's before downing its contents.
"You sure are bold; do you want to die?" Ken retorted angrily.
Just as Ken was about to approach further, Taylor gave Zuo You Tai a look. Zuo You Tai stood up and blocked Ken's path. Ken tried to struggle but found that the other party was surprisingly strong, pinning him down and rendering him immobile.
"You two bastards better let go of me! If you dare touch me, do you want to lose your hands?"
As Ken spoke, his followers rushed in and surrounded Zuo You Tai. One burly man flexed his muscles and threatened, "Let Young Master Ken go or I'll chop off my own hands and spare you..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Right Tai released Ken and delivered a kick to his abdomen, sending him flying two meters away before he finally came to a stop. If it weren't for the carpet on the floor, he probably wouldn't have stopped even after two meters.
"Get them!"
Zuo Tai's eyes flashed with killing intent as he swung a punch at Ken's cheek. The force made Ken's face shake, blood spurted from his nose, and he quickly retaliated against the group of burly men charging at him.
Indeed, he was just a pretty face, full of muscles but lacking any real skill. Faced with Zuo Tai, who had been practicing Muay Thai since childhood, he was completely outmatched and went down in an instant.
"You bastards, how dare you hit me..." Ken groaned as he clutched his swollen cheek, struggling to stand up. His voice had changed; he barely managed to say a few words before Zuo Tai grabbed him by the collar and dragged him in front of Taylor.
"Young Master, how do you want to deal with him?"
"This little matter, do you still need to ask me?"
Taylor's expression was icy; he was likely furious at this intruder who had disturbed his "good business." He glanced at Ken and took a sip from his glass.
"Got it, I know what to do." Zuo Tai nodded and signaled Right Tai to lift Ken up. A fierce glint flashed in his eyes as he swung a fist toward Ken's abdomen.
"Ah... you bastards..." In such a predicament, Ken remained defiant, still able to curse at Taylor.
Hearing Ken's words, Zuo Tai's brows furrowed in anger. If he didn't soften this ignorant fool's attitude, Taylor might direct his fury toward him.
Without a second thought, Zuo Tai treated Ken like a punching bag, throwing punches and kicks without holding back. If it weren't for Right Tai holding onto Ken, he would have been sent flying multiple times. At this moment, Ken could no longer utter a word and was on the verge of collapse.
"Young Master Taylor, just give him a light lesson; there's no need to kill him." Seeing the pitiful state of Ken, Mo Ming felt some sympathy for him. After all, Ken had just helped him out and deserved to keep his life.
Taylor nodded and said to Zuo Tai, "That's enough, Zuo Tai. Stop now; don't interrupt my conversation with Jiang Zong."
"Understood, Young Master."
Upon receiving Taylor's order, Zuo Tai immediately ceased his assault, his eyes still filled with hostility. Just as he was about to drag Ken out of the booth, the barely conscious Ken stubbornly retorted, "Hmph... you will regret this... my dad won't let you off."
"Wait!" Taylor raised an eyebrow and told Zuo Tai, "Bring that bastard back. I have something to ask him; I want to see who made him so bold!"
"Are you scared now?" Ken smirked proudly and said, "It's too late. Tonight, I will make you pay for what you did to me, so don't think you can get away with it!"
"Who gave you the courage?" Taylor's lips curled into a sarcastic smile as he replied, "Tell me, who is your father and what power does he have to make my life difficult?"
"Don't be arrogant!" Ken roared as if he had used all his strength. "My father's name is Sankun. Who here would dare disrespect him? Just wait, he will take revenge for me."
Right Tai leaned in and whispered a few words into Taylor's ear. A wicked smile crept back onto Taylor's face as he picked up a glass of wine from the table and suddenly splashed it onto Ken's face. "Are you awake now?"
"You bastard..."
Ken felt a surge of anger as the wine drenched his face. He wanted to fight back but was met with a sharp slap from Taylor that knocked him to the ground. Taylor crouched beside Ken and grinned maliciously, "Are you awake yet? Do you know who I am?"
"I don't care who you are. Just wait, my father will take revenge on you."
Taylor laughed maniacally and said, "How could someone as clever as Sankun have such a foolish son like you? I really doubt you're even his biological child. Let me tell you, even if I killed you today, your father wouldn't dare touch me."
"You’re talking nonsense! I'm my father's favorite! If you dare kill me, he definitely won't let you off!" Ken was completely oblivious to the reality of the situation.
"Forget it, Zuo Tai, call Sankun and let him talk to his foolish son."
Taylor was almost amused by Ken's stupidity. He then returned to his seat while Zuo Tai made a phone call. After saying a few words, he handed the phone to Ken. Taking the call, Ken was utterly confused and had no idea what Sankun said. All he knew was that he looked genuinely frightened; otherwise, in the dim light, one could clearly see that his face had turned pale.
After just a brief conversation, Ken's expression changed countless times. Once he hung up, he no longer had the courage to look at Taylor. He felt a chill in his heart and regretted coming here to act tough.
"So, what did your father say about how to deal with me?"
Taylor teased as he took a sip of his drink. Ken crawled over like a puppy, wearing a pleading smile as he said, "Young Master Taylor, I was drunk earlier and offended you. I hope you can let me go this time for my father's sake. I promise it won't happen again."
"Oh, weren't you just being arrogant?"
"No, no, no..." Ken trembled slightly and forced a smile, saying, "I was out of my mind earlier. Please don't take it to heart. I realize I was wrong. Young Master Taylor, please spare me."
"If it weren't for Jiang Zong pleading for you and considering your father's face, you would probably be feeding wolves in the Wilderness right now," Taylor's voice was cold, his eyes flashing with a hint of ferocity. "Get lost quickly, before I change my mind and decide you should die."
"Yes, I'll leave right away, far away," Ken's body ached as if it were falling apart, but in order to save his life, he managed to move. The rough men around him hurriedly supported Ken as they all fled.
"Young Master Taylor, there's no need to get angry over someone like him. Let's continue drinking."
Mo Ming raised his glass, wanting to toast with Taylor, but Taylor waved his hand and said, "Forget it, I'm not in the mood tonight. I'm leaving now. Jiang Zong, we'll get in touch when we have the chance."
After saying that, Taylor stood up and walked towards the door, with Zuo You Tai following closely behind him, leaving no contact information. Mo Ming hurriedly got up and asked, "What about the land issue?"
Hearing this, Taylor did not stop but left behind a single sentence: "Don't worry, Jiang Zong. I'll contact you. Just wait for my good news." And then he disappeared.
