"Ha ha, is that so?" Mo Ming smirked disdainfully, slowly crouching down to retrieve the Gold Card from the Pickpocket's body. Seemingly disgusted by the dirt on the Gold Card, he flicked it before putting it back in his pocket and standing up. He smiled and said, "Then let me see what the Pockmarked Face can do. I hope it's impressive; don't let me down."
Now that Li Xiulan had safely left, Mo Ming paid no mind to Pockmarked Face's threats, treating them as mere barking dogs. His eyes showed no sign of disturbance; he appeared calm but was actually numb. The actions of Pockmarked Face had crossed Mo Ming's bottom line, especially upon seeing those innocent girls. To Mo Ming, Pockmarked Face was no different from a dead man.
Hearing Mo Ming's words, Pockmarked Face's expression darkened, his heart ablaze with anger. He opened his eyes slightly and said in a deep voice, "Get up there and catch this kid. I want to give him a proper welcome. But before that, you can beat him as much as you like—just don’t kill him."
The gang members, already humiliated by Mo Ming, could no longer tolerate his arrogance. Their pent-up anger was ready to explode. As soon as Pockmarked Face finished speaking, they charged forward.
"There are so many dogs here; I'm scared! I just don’t know if these dogs are Huskies or Tibetan Mastiffs—are they fierce or not?"
After mocking them, Mo Ming's eyes flashed with sharpness as he moved swiftly forward like a startled swan. He reached one of the gang members just as the thug swung a punch at him. However, the attack was too slow; Mo Ming kicked him in the waist, sending him flying.
"Truly a Husky!"
The faces of the gang members turned pale with anger; Mo Ming's taunt struck deeply at their pride. Fueled by rage, one burly man with a fierce expression charged at Mo Ming and threw a punch.
His speed was decent, but Mo Ming was faster. He wrapped his arms around the man's head and pushed down while leaping up, driving his knee hard into the man's face. If anyone had been watching closely, they would have seen that the man's fist nearly reached Mo Ming's waist but failed to land a hit; instead, he received a heavy blow from Mo Ming.
The impact was too strong; the man felt excruciating pain in his face as tears streamed uncontrollably from his eyes. His head spun dizzily as he saw multiple images of Mo Ming.
"Brother, let me send you off with another kick; wish you a safe journey!"
Mo Ming spoke kindly but wore a sinister grin as he lifted his leg and kicked the man away. He then jumped and swept his thigh outwards, knocking another man who was about to throw a punch off his feet.
At this point, Mo Ming's skills extinguished the gang members' anger like cold water. They hesitated to advance or retreat, trembling in fear; no one dared to charge forward again.
"Damn it! What are we afraid of? Everyone go at once! We have numbers; there's no way we can't subdue him! Let's all go together—no matter how skilled he is, he can't fend off so many hands!"
Pockmarked Face realized he had provoked a formidable opponent but regretting it was useless now; he could only press on stubbornly. When he saw Castrated Man standing frozen in place with trembling legs and not making a move, he kicked Castrated Man angrily and cursed, "You little coward! You’re useless on the bed and still useless here! Do you want to be a coward for life?"
Already filled with fear and unable to dodge in time due to Pockmarked Face's kick, Castrated Man stumbled toward Mo Ming in panic. His face turned pale as he stood helplessly watching Mo Ming lift his leg and deliver a heavy kick to him. Pain shot through his body as he flew backward.
"Wimp Brother, I'm sorry, I couldn't hold back for a moment."
This was merely a jest; Mo Ming had complete control over his hands and feet, and such uncontrollable situations never occurred. The poor Castrated Man fell heavily to the ground and before he could blame Mo Ming, he fainted.
At this moment, Mo Ming resembled a ruthless deity who would slay Buddhas and demons alike. He moved effortlessly through the crowd, and with every strike, there was bound to be an injury. In the blink of an eye, more than twenty people were reduced to just over ten who could still stand.
"This kid is too twisted. Just a moment ago, everything seemed safe, but now I feel a bit uneasy," Pockmarked Face said, feeling frightened. He regretted provoking this ruthless figure; it was truly a case of losing more than he gained. He had failed to obtain the wealth from the Gold Card, and his years of business experience were now at risk.
At this rate, even if there were another hundred people, it seemed they could do nothing against Mo Ming. Pockmarked Face steeled himself, a hint of determination in his eyes that couldn't mask his fear. He quickly turned around and hurried back to the big bed, retrieving a Machete from underneath.
Suddenly sensing a menacing aura approaching from behind, Pockmarked Face gripped the knife tightly and turned around in terror, only to find Mo Ming standing behind him like an apparition from the Underworld.
Looking back towards the entrance, he noticed that his men seemed to have all collapsed!
"Hey hey, Boss Pockmarked Face, you can't do this! We're all unarmed here; you have a knife, which isn't fair. Why don't you put down the knife and we can discuss this properly?" Mo Ming feigned fear, forcing a bitter smile at Pockmarked Face.
Pockmarked Face took him seriously and pointed the Machete at Mo Ming, angrily saying, "Damn it! You finally know fear? Weren't you just acting tough earlier like Bruce Lee? One against ten? Hmph! Now show me what you've got!"
"Isn't that a bit inappropriate? Are you sure you want me to come?" Mo Ming said with a troubled expression, raising his hands in surrender.
Pockmarked Face didn't care what Mo Ming said; he swung the Machete and charged forward while shouting, "I don't care if you come or not; I'm going to take you down today!"
"Hey, why won't you listen to my advice?"
Just as Pockmarked Face swung his knife, Mo Ming nimbly dodged to the side. After gathering strength into his fist, he struck hard at Pockmarked Face's wrist. A wave of numbness and pain surged through him as the Machete slipped from his grasp.
Mo Ming swiftly caught the falling Machete and turned his body. The gleaming blade aimed for Pockmarked Face's neck. Just as it was about to strike, the Machete halted above his throat. Pockmarked Face's eyes widened in terror like duck eggs; he trembled all over as drops of sweat dripped from his pants—he was completely soaked.
Did Pockmarked Face actually wet himself out of fear?
"Boss, how old are you to still be wetting your pants?"
Pockmarked Face swallowed hard, glancing at the knife and realizing he was unharmed. His racing heart finally eased a bit, but he was still terrified, staring in horror at Mo Ming.
"No, no, no, you’re the boss. Please spare me... I didn’t recognize your greatness and offended you. Just treat me like a fart and let it go. After all, I didn’t do anything to you or your wife, and I even let you take care of so many brothers... Just let me go, and I swear I’ll never trouble you again."
"Originally, I could have let you go like that," Mo Ming said, his expression suddenly darkening. "But what you've done has crossed my bottom line. Look at how innocent those girls are!"
As he spoke, Mo Ming slammed the blade against Pockmarked Face's face, forcing him to turn his gaze toward the cage. He pressed the Machete against Pockmarked Face's neck and shouted loudly, "Open your eyes and take a good look!"
"Yes, yes, I’ll open my eyes and take a good look right now."
Trembling, Pockmarked Face raised his head to look at the girls. There was no sympathy in his eyes—only concern for his own safety.
"Boss, I know I was wrong. Just let me go, and I won’t do it again."
Mo Ming sneered and shook his head. "For scum like you, it seems impossible for you to sincerely repent. Forget it; you're just wasting my time."
Before Pockmarked Face could react, Mo Ming struck him on the neck with the knife, knocking him unconscious.
After discarding the Machete, Mo Ming searched Pockmarked Face's body and found a set of keys. He looked around and found the control switch next to the cage. Pulling down the switch with one hand, the cage slowly descended. Just as it was about to reach the ground, Mo Ming pulled the switch up again.
The girls saw Mo Ming, who had been on the verge of death, suddenly regained their vitality. They were very excited and wanted to speak, but with duct tape over their mouths, they could only make muffled sounds.
"Don't worry; you're saved."
With a kind smile, Mo Ming tried several keys from Pockmarked Face until he finally unlocked the lock. He initially intended to untie the ropes binding the girls but was interrupted by the familiar sound of police sirens approaching.
"I'm sorry, but please bear with it a little longer. The police will come to rescue you soon. I have to go now."
Mo Ming did not want the police to know about this matter; otherwise, it would lead to a lot of trouble. If they made a big deal out of the incident involving the pickpocket, it would be difficult to avoid notoriety, which would expose his whereabouts to Sito Hai.
Mo Ming did not want to reveal himself too quickly to Sito Hai, so he hesitated for no longer than a moment before swiftly moving to the wall of the warehouse. These walls were made of plastic and were environmentally friendly. He kicked them hard several times and managed to create a hole large enough for him to escape through.
At that moment, armed police officers broke into the warehouse through the main entrance. Taking advantage of the distraction, Mo Ming quickly stepped out of the warehouse. Outside was a vast expanse of sky, with fluffy white clouds, hot temperatures, and fresh air.
"Finally out! I just can't understand how those people have such keen senses that they could use that kind of place as a hideout!"
After taking a few breaths of fresh air, Mo Ming was about to leave when a sharp female voice called out from behind him, forcing him to stop in his tracks.
"Don't move! Raise your hands and don't try anything funny. My gun doesn't have eyes. Now slowly turn around."
Mo Ming did not like this treatment, but with a gun pointed at him, he had no choice but to raise his hands and slowly turn around, finally getting a clear look at the female officer behind him.
"Who are you? Mo Ming!"
