Mo Ming never expected that Zhao the Eunuch would actually go and ask Murong Lian. Fortunately, although Murong Lian was unclear about what Zhao the Eunuch was talking about, she still helped Mo Ming put on a show. However, after the act, Mo Ming ended up in trouble, as Murong Lian called him to her office and gave him a stern lesson. 0

"Well, Mo Ming, you really have some nerve. To favor Qiu Lan, you've learned to lie, haven't you? How dare you say that? How could you possibly know when Aunt Flo is visiting?" Murong Lian scolded him while hitting and kicking him, using everything she could. 0

"You’re the one with Aunt Flo visiting; it’s not like I helped you change... Ouch! Can you be gentler? Just because you're a woman doesn’t mean I won’t fight back!" Mo Ming grimaced in pain; he had endured many kinds of pain but couldn’t stand being twisted by a woman. 0

"Go ahead and try to hit me; I want to see how tough you really are." Murong Lian recalled how Mo Ming had helped her change her sanitary pad, her face flushed with embarrassment, and she increased her strength even more. 0

"Ouch! Miss Murong, I was wrong! I promise I won't use you as a shield again. I was wrong; I'll be your servant from now on!" Mo Ming quickly begged for mercy. 0

It’s better to offend a petty person than to offend a woman. Mo Ming finally understood this saying; women were terrifying. No matter how they hit or persecuted you, you simply couldn’t retaliate against them. Of course, some men were exceptions; Mo Ming was not the kind of man who would hit women casually. 0

Mo Ming pleaded desperately until Murong Lian finally let him go, leaving him with a stern warning: "If you dare use me to protect other women again, I'll make you the first official since the establishment!" 0

Night turned into day repeatedly, and in the blink of an eye, a week had passed. 0

Since arriving in Nanhua City, Mo Ming had been there for almost two weeks. Although he served as Murong Lian's personal bodyguard, he still had some free time. For instance, at night, Murong Lian seemed to dislike going out and would return home early to rest, allowing Mo Ming his freedom during the night. 0

For several consecutive nights, Mo Ming would go to Forget-Me-Not Bar for drinks. Occasionally encountering a beautiful woman, he would take the initiative to strike up a conversation. Most of the time, however, he drank alone. 0

After work that day, as night fell, Mo Ming drove Murong Lian back to Hillside Mansion and then took his BMW out again, heading straight for Forget-Me-Not Bar. By the time he arrived, it was already eight o'clock and the bar was bustling with activity. 0

The colorful lights flashed brightly amidst the deafening dance music and swaying couples on the dance floor. The scene was filled with lively chaos and enticing sights of pole dancers. 0

Mo Ming navigated through the crowd and sat down at the bar counter. The handsome bartender smiled upon seeing him arrive and said, "Looks like you've been quite free lately; I've seen you here every night. Same as usual?" 0

“Life Is Short, Enjoy It While You Can. Don't let the golden cup face the moon empty. In life, when you can enjoy yourself, you should indulge, lest in the future when you are old, you find yourself unable to go wild.” Mo Ming chuckled and said, “That’s natural. The taste of the drink you mixed is unforgettable.” 0

“Alright, it will be ready soon.” The handsome bartender immediately started preparing his signature drink, moving with practiced ease, indicating he had put in a lot of effort. Soon, the drink was poured into a glass, which he pushed forward without spilling a drop, landing perfectly in front of Mo Ming. He smiled and said, “Your ‘Eternal Bliss’ is ready.” 0

Mo Ming took a sip and felt it tasted just like before. He praised, “Young man, you mix drinks quite well. I've been drinking this for several nights now, and the flavor hasn’t changed at all. You must have spent quite some time learning this.” 0

“Not really, it’s just a personal hobby,” the bartender humbly replied with a smile. “Mixing drinks is a product of the bartender's mood. If the bartender is in a bad mood, the taste of the drink will suffer.” 0

“This craft requires attention to mood? Then if you're in a bad mood, wouldn’t that lead to customers cursing you out?” Mo Ming joked. “By the way, what should I call you?” 0

“You can call me Daisuke,” Daisuke said with a grin. “And how should I address you?” 0

“I’m called Doraemon,” Mo Ming chuckled and waved his hand. “Just kidding, I’m Mo Ming.” 0

“Oh, Mo Ming, may I ask you something?” Daisuke asked while wiping a glass. 0

Mo Ming nodded and smiled, “Sure, as long as it’s not about my measurements.” 0

“Uh, I don’t have that kind of interest,” Daisuke replied somewhat dejectedly. “I’m just curious; you look like you’re in your early twenties. Are you still a college student?” 0

“I’ve never been to college,” Mo Ming laughed. “Why are you so curious? Haven’t you seen people in their twenties drinking at bars?” 0

“Because I noticed you've been quite generous over the past few nights; I was just curious if your family is wealthy,” Daisuke said honestly. “You don’t have to answer if it’s too personal.” 0

“Bartender, hurry up and mix me a Blue Star.” 0

Just as Mo Ming was about to speak, another customer shouted from the side, forcing him to swallow his words. 0

"I'm still busy, so I'll take my leave for now." 0

After Daisuke finished speaking, he immediately got back to work. Mo Ming smiled lightly, took a sip from his glass, and casually glanced around. Just then, a girl hurriedly approached him, looking flustered as if she was trying to escape from someone. 0

The girl was dressed like a delinquent, with her hair dyed in vibrant colors. She appeared to be no more than sixteen years old but already had a well-developed figure. Despite her attempts to disguise her beauty with heavy makeup, it was still evident that she possessed an innate charm hidden beneath her ordinary facade. 0

Mo Ming looked closely behind her and indeed saw three small thugs peeking around in the crowd, seemingly searching for the girl. However, the dim lighting and the number of people made it difficult to see clearly from a distance. 0

When the girl turned her head, one of the thugs caught sight of her and, in a panic, she suddenly hugged Mo Ming tightly, burying her head in his chest. 0

"Help me, someone is chasing me. Please!" 0

Though she was young, she was undeniably beautiful. With such a beauty throwing herself into his arms, Mo Ming thought it wouldn't hurt to play the good Samaritan. He quickly turned around and embraced the girl warmly. 0

"Don't worry; I'm always willing to help a beautiful girl. Just lean on me," Mo Ming shamelessly said while glancing ahead. The thugs seemed to have noticed and were heading in their direction. 0

Mo Ming chuckled, "Sorry, but those guys seem to have spotted you." 0

"What?" 0

Upon hearing Mo Ming's words, the girl looked up in surprise and turned to see that the thugs were indeed coming after her. 0

At that moment, they were not far apart anymore. 0

Without thinking much about it, she took off running. The thugs noticed that the girl had gone from walking slowly to sprinting away and immediately chased after her. 0

As the thugs ran past him, a mischievous smile crept onto Mo Ming's face. He deliberately stuck out his leg. The thugs were running too fast and didn’t pay attention to where they were going; one of them tripped over Mo Ming's leg and stumbled forward before crashing down hard. 0

"Hey!" 0

The remaining two thugs stopped, and one of the Red-Haired Thugs pointed at Mo Ming, cursing angrily, "What the hell, are you doing this on purpose?" 0

"You little brat, are you tired of living? How dare you trip me!" The thug who fell stood up, feeling pain all over his body. He twisted his body and walked over to Mo Ming's side, slapping the table and extorting, "Now my bones feel like they're falling apart. Tell me how to resolve this. Are you willing to pay for medical expenses, or do you want to spend a few months in the hospital?" 0

"Exactly! Let me tell you, if you don't give me ten thousand today, don't even think about walking out of this bar!" The red-haired thug looked Mo Ming up and down, noticing that his clothes seemed expensive. Since Mo Ming was just a teenager and appeared quite obedient, he thought about squeezing a hefty sum from him. 0

Meanwhile, the girl was hiding not far away, watching nervously and afraid that the thugs would shift their focus onto her again. She didn't want to run away either, fearing it would bring trouble to Mo Ming, who had just helped her. So she decided to observe the situation before making a decision. 0

"I'm sorry; I didn't mean to involve you. Why did you have to meddle?" The girl prayed in her heart, trying to calm herself. 0

Mo Ming didn't respond to the thugs' questions at all. He disdainfully picked up his drink and continued watching the woman dancing on the pole. Her figure was alluring and had caught the attention of many men. 0

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" 0

The thug who had been tripped by Mo Ming suddenly became furious and swung his hand to knock Mo Ming's drink away. 0

Mo Ming had been admiring the dancer's enticing moves when he noticed the thug's movement. A fierce glint flashed in his eyes as he swiftly kicked the thug's knee like a dragon emerging from the sea. The thug immediately fell to the ground, rolling around while clutching his injured leg. 0

"You’re asking for death!" 0

The Red-Haired Thug and another thug were instantly enraged and swung their fists at Mo Ming. 0

At this moment, Mo Ming's gaze remained fixed on the dancer on stage. Using his peripheral vision and hearing, he accurately caught the punch thrown by the Red-Haired Thug. As another thug attempted to punch Mo Ming in the face, he unexpectedly flew into the air and crashed hard into a table behind him. 0

The red-haired thug tried to struggle but found that the seemingly frail teenager had immense strength; it felt as if his bones were about to shatter under Mo Ming's grip. He quickly cried out in pain. 0

The commotion was quite loud, and everyone around stopped what they were doing to look over, but no one was willing to intervene. 0

It was the little bartender, Daisuke, who had a sense of justice. Upon noticing the situation, he paused his drink mixing and walked over. 0

"Mo Ming, what's going on?" 0

Mo Ming smiled and said, "It's nothing, just a bit of bad luck; I ran into a few biting little dogs." 0

"Fuck you! Let go of me! Have you heard of Sito Haihai Brother from Red Heart District?" The Red-Haired Thug boasted arrogantly. "He's our big brother. If you don't want to see bodies lying in the street, just hand over the money!" 0

"Alright, how much do you want?" Mo Ming released the Red-Haired Thug's hand and feigned a helpless expression. 0

The Red-Haired Thug really thought Mo Ming was scared and grew bolder. He held up five fingers and demanded, "It would have been just ten thousand to settle things earlier, but now that you've injured several of my brothers, it will cost at least fifty thousand. Otherwise, just wait to die..." 0

Clap, clap, clap... 0
