Chapter 133
In short, after a contest between men with Hongjun, Ye Chuanze left the Purple Cloud Palace with weak legs. He swore that he would never come back again! Even if he did, he would not mix with Hongjun; he would switch to a vegetarian diet!
After Ye Chuanze had a tussle with Hongjun, Hongjun pinned him down, and they had another round on the cold floor. Ye Chuanze clearly remembered every move Hongjun made at that moment, as well as every sensation on his body, which sent shivers throughout him.
Hongjun's icy arms rubbed against his back, sending waves of electrifying sensations coursing through him, making him gasp heavily with his head tilted back. Lying limply in his embrace, he was forced to endure wave after wave of relentless attacks, like a torrential storm—merciless and cruel. He felt like a small boat tossed in the dark night and turbulent sea, drifting aimlessly up and down. It seemed as if he could hear distant thunder rumbling in the sky, causing his heart to race with each booming sound. The surging tides rolled violently, making him feel as if he could capsize at any moment.
Hongjun was like the unfathomable ocean—sometimes gentle and affectionate, sometimes turning cold and unrecognizable. When the sea was calm, its azure surface sparkled like a lover with the broadest heart. It lured one into its tenderness, enjoying the gentle caress of the sea breeze.
However, when it turned cold and unfeeling, it became perhaps the cruelest lover in the world. The winds howled, waves surged, swallowing everything without mercy. Truly cold-hearted and ruthless, showing no compassion.
On one hand, Ye Chuanze was immersed in Hongjun's tenderness; on the other hand, he feared and respected his ruthlessness. This contradictory feeling tormented him at times, leaving him restless. Thus arose their disputes; rather than being due to their incompatible personalities, it was more about how deeply inscrutable they were to each other, making it difficult to gauge one another's thoughts. Unable to control the situation led to confusion.
In a certain sense, Ye Chuanze and Hongjun were quite similar; for instance, both had an intense desire for control.
Ye Li and Hongjun were entangled on the floor, their hair intertwined.
"Hurry up..." Ye Chuanze gasped.
"Heh heh..." Hongjun chuckled lowly and said, "Not so fast."
Ye Chuanze frowned, his voice hoarse with impatience. "Lu Ya is still waiting for me outside."
Hongjun remained unfazed and continued his actions, saying, "Then let him wait!"
Look at this self-important man who seems cold but is actually domineering.

Then, by the time they finished, half an hour had passed.
Poor Lu Ya was unceremoniously abandoned by his unscrupulous master, left waiting alone outside for so long.
After everything was done, Ye Chuanze no longer allowed Hongjun to touch his body. He casually picked up one of Hongjun's garments, quickly wiped his body, then put on his own clothes to cover the enticing body marked with traces of passion.
Ye Chuanze left the Star Observation Tower, gave Lu Ya a few instructions, and then left him at the Purple Cloud Palace before departing alone.
The war among the Lich Clans was escalating, and it seemed that the tragedy of the former Dragon and Phoenix clans was about to repeat itself. There was no place safer than the Purple Cloud Palace in this Primordial. Lu Ya, as the prince of the demon clan and future king, needed to be kept safe by Ye Chuanze, who had no choice but to temporarily leave him with Hongjun. In this Primordial, no one dared to cause trouble in front of Hongjun at the Purple Cloud Palace.
Meanwhile, he had to return to Buzhou Mountain, where he had more tasks to accomplish.
Although there were many demons, they were mixed in quality; their strengths varied greatly, and their temperaments were mostly unstable. As his senior brother, the Primordial Supreme Being, had said, the demon clan, which originated from beasts that fed on raw flesh and blood, had not undergone thousands of years of cultivation. Their inherent wildness remained, making many of them cruel and vicious, prone to straying onto dark paths.
Currently, under the leadership of Demon Emperor Di Jun, the demon clan revered him and formed a tightly-knit kingdom bound by his rule. However, once this ruler fell, this seemingly powerful kingdom would instantly collapse into a pile of loose sand. This was the demon clan's fatal flaw; it required a unique king who would not be constrained by others.
The seemingly strong demon clan was merely a collection of grains of sand gathered around Demon Emperor Di Jun, forming a large yet fragile kingdom. Once the king died, this kingdom would come crashing down in an instant; those grains that built the kingdom would immediately disband and scatter. Without their unity, each grain would be weak and easily crushed.
This explains why after the deaths of Demon Emperor Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi during the Lich War, the demon clan swiftly fell from being one of the top powers in the Primordial to a pitiful state where they were raided by Western Buddhism and oppressed by previously insignificant humans.
After the Lich War, under the leadership of their great witch, the Witch Clan distanced themselves from the Primordial, allowing them to breathe and preserve their legacy. In contrast, the demon clan faced a decline in talent and ultimately descended into depravity. Once regarded as a flourishing power that even made the likes of the Witch Clan wary, they ended up being labeled as monsters by humans! Ultimately, it was because no one in the demon clan could shoulder great responsibilities. With both Demon Emperor Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi perishing in the war, young and weak prince Lu Ya could not take charge while Sage Nüwa remained indifferent, and then there was Fuxi... Fuxi...
Mentioning Fuxi, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but frown.
He recalled that in later human legends, Fuxi was one of the three sovereigns of humanity and known as the Human Emperor. He made significant contributions to humanity's rise and development, being honored as the Human Emperor, enjoying worship from humans and holding a status comparable to that of a Sage.
Suddenly, a grim expression crossed Ye Chuanze's face. Could it be that... in the end, Fuxi actually fell?
He quickened his pace, eager to return to Buzhou Mountain to dissuade Fuxi from getting involved in the Lich War. This fate was predestined by heaven; human efforts could not change it. The decline of the Lich Clans was inevitable, while humanity's rise could not be stopped! They were plotting in secret to ensure that the foundation of the demon clan remained unshaken. They must not go to their deaths for nothing!

With a cold expression on his face, Ye Chuanze hurried towards Mount Buzhou, but suddenly encountered someone blocking his path ahead. He immediately halted his steps and coldly regarded a man dressed in black standing before him.
"Where are you in such a hurry to go, Black Lotus?" A figure dressed in black with dark hair and a charmingly wild demeanor, Mara Lord Rahu, blocked the way. He raised an eyebrow at Ye Chuanze, his gaze fixed on him, a wicked smile curling at the corners of his mouth as he said, "It's been a long time, Black Lotus! Since our last parting, it seems we haven't seen each other for a thousand years!"
Ye Chuanze's expression soured at the sight of him; every encounter with Rahul had never ended well. He had urgent matters to attend to and no time to waste on him. Coldly, Ye Chuanze looked at him and replied, "Indeed, it has been a long time. Demon Ancestor, your charm remains undiminished since those days."
Rahul was taken aback by this response. He looked Ye Chuanze up and down in surprise. He never expected this! In the past, whenever Ye Chuanze saw him, he would always respond with cold words and no kindness. This time, however, he was being so polite; Rahul was genuinely astonished and found it hard to adjust. Having grown accustomed to Ye Chuanze's sarcasm, he found this courteousness rather jarring.
"Did Hongjun give you some kind of drug?" Rahul asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at him. "Look at you; you've become quite abnormal. I told you long ago that Hongjun is treacherous and cunning; you should have kept your distance from him. But you wouldn't listen to my advice. Look at you now!"
Ye Chuanze felt speechless at this remark. What did he mean by 'abnormal'? Was it just because he had given Rahul a pleasant expression? Was that such a big deal? It seemed like Rahul was eager to seize any opportunity to criticize Hongjun!
"Rahul, can you speak like a normal person?" Ye Chuanze said coldly. He realized that he couldn't have a civil conversation with this irritating pervert. "After a thousand years apart, have you forgotten how to talk? Let me tell you, I'm perfectly fine; nothing is wrong with me at all. I’m in a hurry today and don’t have time for your nonsense. Move aside! I need to go!"
Upon hearing this, Rahul revealed a wicked smile, his handsome face exuding an alluring wildness. "But I really want to talk with Black Lotus. Every time we’re alone together, there are always annoying people who come to interrupt us; it’s truly infuriating."
As he spoke, a look of disgust crossed his face, and a flash of killing intent flickered through.
"Why not come back to the Demon Realm with me? There, no one would dare disturb us!" Rahul said with a grin.
Ye Chuanze's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this; he understood that Rahul's intentions were not good today!
"The Demon Realm? I'm quite curious about what kind of place that is, but I still have urgent matters today. Perhaps another day would be better for a visit," Ye Chuanze replied.
However, Rahul only smiled wider at this response. "I knew you'd be interested in the Demon Realm; you'll love it! You'll really enjoy it!"
"Why wait for another day? Let's go today instead!" Rahul insisted.
Ye Chuanze was about to say something more when Rahul's expression turned impatient. Without waiting for him to speak, he instantly teleported in front of him, wrapped an arm around his waist, lifted him off the ground, and whisked him away.
One day, after a confrontation with Hongjun, Ye Chuanze was robbed by Rahul on his way home, losing both his belongings and himself.
It was utterly humiliating!
Ye Chuanze was somewhat surprised to see Rahul; the first thought that flashed through his mind was that he had not died after all, followed by the realization that indeed, he had not. It seemed like a person who should have died suddenly reappeared before him—an unexpected yet somehow reasonable occurrence.
A person like Rahul should not have died so easily. Ye Chuanze had always believed this; a great villain like Rahul could not simply perish. Even against a powerful Dao Ancestor, Ye Chuanze still felt that this person would not die so easily.
So when Rahul truly met his end at Hongjun's hands, Ye Chuanze felt more shock than joy, even harboring a sense of disbelief. However, at that moment, his intense desire for freedom made him overlook the unease and doubts within him. It was only now, upon seeing the supposedly dead but resurrected Rahul again, that Ye Chuanze's heart finally felt at ease.
This was how it should be.
Years had passed, and Ye Chuanze was no longer the defenseless Black Lotus who could only be slaughtered. Facing Rahul now, his mindset had softened considerably. He looked at Rahul and asked, "Do you hate me for what happened back then?"
Hearing this, Rahul looked at him with some surprise and said, "Why would I hate you? You merely did what you wanted to do."
Indeed! Ye Chuanze suddenly understood; the unruly and arrogant villain before him viewed the so-called "betrayal" he had brooded over for years as nothing more than him doing what he wished.
How foolish he had been to dwell on it for so long.
Seeing his expression, Rahul couldn't help but laugh. "You're still just as silly as before."
Ye Chuanze retorted angrily, "You're the one who's silly!"
