For two adult men, the soft couch felt a bit small. Ye Chuanze had to hold Hongjun tightly, their bodies pressed closely together, making the somewhat narrow couch accommodate both of them. 0

"Let's go to bed!" Ye Chuanze said in a hoarse and lazy voice. After an intense encounter, he felt exhausted and didn't even want to move a finger. 0

Hongjun looked down at him, his expression thoughtful, and said, "One more time?" 0

Ye Chuanze, who had originally been closing his eyes to rest, suddenly opened them wide at those words, his tone turning cold. "Insatiable!" 0

Hongjun replied calmly, "Just go with the flow." 0

Ye Chuanze sneered at this and directly broke free from his embrace, getting up from the couch. He stood barefoot on the ground, which was cool and smooth under Han Baiyu's flooring. His body was completely bare, lean and long with well-defined muscles. He appeared calm and composed, showing no embarrassment about being naked in front of another person. He bent down to pick up the clothes that had been carelessly tossed on the floor earlier, putting them on one by one. 0

"Are you not staying tonight?" Hongjun asked while lying on the couch, turning his head to look at him, strands of hair falling over his cheek. 0

"Staying so you can have another go?" Ye Chuanze's voice was cold as he spoke without looking at him. 0

"What’s wrong with having another go? Are you afraid?" Hongjun said nonchalantly, unfazed by Ye Chuanze's not-so-friendly tone. 0

"Ridiculous!" This time Ye Chuanze looked directly at him and sneered. "What do I have to be afraid of?" 0

"Then let's do it again." His tone remained indifferent, making one want to hit him. 0

"Hah!" Ye Chuanze let out a cold laugh as he fastened his belt. "I don't have time to waste with you; I'm leaving." 0

Hongjun slightly raised himself, propping his body up on the soft couch, watching Ye Chuanze turn away without a hint of reluctance, his brow furrowing. Recently, Ye Chuanze had become increasingly unpredictable, likely due to the pressing situation with the demon clan's war. Unlike his usual ethereal demeanor, Ye Chuanze now exuded a fierce killing intent, with a strong aura of menace between his brows. This appearance... was not good! 0

Hongjun's frown deepened. The usually meticulous planner found himself at a loss. It was he who had insisted on keeping Ye Chuanze by his side, deceiving everyone. But how could the Heavenly Dao be so easily fooled? The current situation was bound to follow its predetermined course, correcting the results that had been forcibly altered. With this thought, Hongjun's expression darkened; no one understood better than him how treacherous the path ahead for Ye Chuanze would be. 0

Ye Chuanze left Purple Cloud Palace and headed towards Mount Buzhou. He soared through the clouds high above, his expression quite grim. Earlier at Purple Cloud Palace, he had acted somewhat irrationally; he couldn't understand why he had been so irritable and restless lately. If things didn't go his way, he would immediately turn cold. He was someone who valued his pride greatly and couldn't bring himself to apologize to Hongjun, leaving him feeling frustrated alone. 0

Upon arriving at Yunze Cave, Ye Chuanze landed. The attendant saw him and hurriedly approached, saying, "Fuxi has been waiting for you for quite some time." 0

Hearing Fuxi's name made Ye Chuanze's expression improve slightly; he shared a deep friendship with Fuxi and they spoke freely with each other. Now that they had also fought side by side against common enemies, their bond had grown even stronger. Given his current mood, having a few drinks with a friend would be a good way to relieve his troubles. 0

It was well-known throughout the Primordial realm that Ye Chuanze and Fuxi were close friends who regarded each other as confidants. Just how close were they? They were so comfortable with each other that they could visit each other's caves without needing to announce their presence to the attendants, coming and going as if they were in their own homes. For instance, when Fuxi came to visit Ye Chuanze and found him absent, Fuxi simply stayed in Yunze Cave alone without feeling out of place. 0

In a pavilion within Jingtai Garden, Ye Chuanze found Fuxi drinking alone. He walked over and casually sat down across from him. Fuxi looked up at him and smiled, saying, "You're back?" 0

"Yeah, pour me a drink," Ye Chuanze replied. 0

Fuxi glanced at him several times before his gaze fell on Ye Chuanze's waist, looking thoughtful as he poured a glass of wine and casually asked, "Did you just come from Purple Cloud Palace?" 0

Ye Chuanze didn't hide it; he felt there was no need to conceal anything and nodded directly, saying, "I went to ask Dao Ancestor about some matters." 0

Fuxi was not unaware of the entanglements between Ye Chuanze and Hongjun; after all, it was Dao Ancestor who had helped Ye Chuanze twice when he failed to transform. However, he hadn't expected their relationship to be so intimate. Fuxi looked at Ye Chuanze's waist again before finally smiling slightly without saying anything further and downing a glass of wine. Then he asked, "How is your relationship with Dao Ancestor?" 0

It was understandable that Ye Chuanze felt sensitive; he had an undisclosed secret relationship with Hongjun. Hearing Fuxi's question made him wary as he studied Fuxi's expression, trying to discern whether this was just casual inquiry or if he had discovered something. Yet Fuxi remained inscrutable as always; it was difficult to read anything from his face. 0

Ye Chuanze scrutinized Fuxi's expression for a long while but couldn't discern anything unusual. Cautiously, he replied, "Between teacher and disciple, our relationship is naturally better than that of ordinary people." 0

Fuxi remained noncommittal, his expression unchanged. 0

Ye Chuanze carefully observed his face, and seeing no signs of distress, he felt relieved. He then changed the subject and asked, "With the continuous wars, have you grown weary of it?" Fuxi had always been gentle and non-confrontational; the battlefield was not a place suited for him. If it were just one or two battles, it might be manageable, but a war lasting a millennium would surely be difficult for him. 0

Fuxi did not directly answer the question but said, "As a member of the demon clan, this is an unavoidable responsibility for me. But what about you? With so many lives lost, has Dao Ancestor never reprimanded you?" 0

Ye Chuanze remained unfazed by the comment and replied in a neutral tone, "On the battlefield, it's either you die or I die. Once you step onto the battlefield, you must be prepared to kill. If you show mercy, it will ultimately lead to your own death and that of your comrades." 0

Hearing this, Fuxi smiled lightly, indicating that there had indeed been reprimands. "You should consider Dao Ancestor's feelings a bit more; you're quite the headstrong fellow." 0

After hearing this from him, Ye Chuanze fell silent for a while, only drinking his wine. After some time, he softly asked, "What’s going on between you and Nuwa?" 0

This question caused even Fuxi to fall silent. After a moment, he lightly replied, "Nuwa has grown up; her thoughts are beyond my understanding as her older brother." 0

Ye Chuanze looked at him and moved his lips but ultimately just sighed and said, "Nuwa is not what she used to be; her insight into heavenly secrets surpasses ours. You should listen to her more." 0

"That's what I wanted to say to you," Fuxi responded. 0

Understanding Fuxi's implication, Ye Chuanze realized that as a disciple of Hongjun, he was currently involved in the War of the Lich. With Dao Ancestor's extraordinary realm and understanding of heavenly secrets, if he could receive guidance from him in daily matters and heed Dao Ancestor's words, it would help ensure his safety. 0

"It's not that simple; there are always things in this world that you know you shouldn't do but have to do anyway," Ye Chuanze said. "Ultimately, it's my own Karma that I owe." 0

Long ago, when Ye Chuanze considered himself part of the demon clan seeking their protection, he had already prepared to repay this Karma. In the past, he was merely an unformed Twelfth-Grade Black Lotus, vulnerable to anyone's schemes. Seeking protection, he took on a demon form and resided in Buzhou Mountain, befriending Fuxi and Nuwa who cared for him over many years. Even Di Jun and Taiyi, due to his identity as a demon, offered him additional assistance. In this cruel and cold world of Primordial, kinship was of utmost importance, especially during the ancient times when populations were scarce and relationships were even more amicable. 0

Reflecting on this, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but say, "Ten thousand years ago, I never imagined that the demon clan would one day have such a large population." 0

"Fuxi" also smiled and said, "Heaven and Earth are benevolent; all beings can attain the Dao. Our demon clan shall prosper!" 0

After drinking for a long time, "Fuxi" finally stood up to take his leave. Once he left, " Ye Chuanze " sat alone in the "Pavilion," continuing to drink. A gentle breeze blew by, and as he inadvertently lowered his head, he noticed a strikingly cold deep purple belt tied around his blue and white Daoist robe, which clashed greatly with his attire. " Ye Chuanze " was momentarily stunned; he then understood why "Fuxi" had looked at him so strangely earlier, fixating on his waist. 0

This deep purple belt could only belong to "Hongjun." It seemed that he had hurriedly left and mistakenly taken the wrong belt. But... why didn't "Hongjun" remind him? Could it be that "Hongjun" also made a mistake? For a moment, " Ye Chuanze " fell into deep thought. Did "Hongjun" intentionally choose not to remind him, or was it... it seemed deliberate in any case? 0

Recalling "Fuxi's" earlier question, "How is your relationship with the Dao Ancestor?" it appeared that he had sensed something. "Fuxi" was always observant and clever; even if he wanted to hide it, it wouldn't last long. Moreover, he had never truly concealed anything. It was not surprising that "Fuxi" could perceive this. 0

Although " Ye Chuanze " had felt nervous about whether "Fuxi" knew of his relationship with "Hongjun," upon realizing that "Fuxi" did know, he instead felt calm. Neither he nor "Hongjun" believed there was anything shameful about their feelings for each other. Despite their unique identities, they had nothing to feel guilty about towards Heaven and Earth or others; that was enough. 0

He never minded how others viewed his relationship with "Hongjun," whether with genuine blessings or disdain; it didn't matter to him. All he needed to know was that he liked this person, just as this person liked him in return. That was sufficient. It was precisely because he understood this that he could freely express his emotions in front of "Hongjun," including impatience, disgust, and darker sides like bloodlust. If one liked someone, they should embrace all aspects of that person—not just the likable ones but also the less admirable traits. 0

Outside the Thirty-Three Heavens, in the Purple Cloud Palace. 0

"Hongjun," holding a blue belt, rarely wore a hint of a smile on his usually expressionless face. His disciple might be willful and aloof, but he treated him sincerely, and that was enough. He asked for little—just a true heart in return for his own sincerity. He liked him and was willing to tolerate his willfulness, just as he indulged in his minor schemes. 0

The friendship between " Ye Chuanze " and "Fuxi" was well-known among the Primordial beings, and naturally, "Hongjun" was aware of it too. Initially, he could remain indifferent and dismiss the rumors praising the bond between the dual gods of the demon clan as inconsequential. However, over the years, as " Ye Chuanze " fought alongside "Fuxi," their bond grew stronger on the battlefield where they supported each other; it became increasingly difficult for "Hongjun" to claim indifference. 0

Thus came this small scheme: watching " Ye Chuanze " wear the wrong belt without reminding him served as an announcement of their relationship. With "Fuxi's" intelligence, how could he not understand the deeper meaning behind this small belt? 0

It was merely a declaration of ownership while subtly showcasing their affection. What they had just done could be fully explained by this belt alone. 0
