Ye Chuanze had a memory that the Primordial Immortals did not possess. Although he was unaware of all the events and future of the Primordial, he knew some significant and far-reaching matters, one of which was the creation of humanity by Nuwa. According to mythology, Nuwa created humans from clay, initially molding them one by one with her own hands. Eventually, growing impatient, she waved her vine over the clay, causing it to splash onto the ground and transform into human beings. 0

The myth mentioned three elements essential for Nuwa's creation: the clay, the vine, and water. The yellow earth needed to be mixed with water to coalesce into clumps that could be shaped into human forms. 0

Reflecting on these thoughts and recalling Hongjun's earlier words—those things that had felt familiar yet elusive to Ye Chuanze —everything suddenly became clear. This also explained why he had felt particularly concerned when he first saw the Primordial Gourd Vine. 0

Ye Chuanze couldn't help but shake his head and smile wryly. He had always believed that Nuwa's creation of humanity was as simple as described in the myths, requiring only ordinary clay, water, and vines—something that could be done easily and casually. He never imagined that there were deeper reasons behind it; creating humans was not such a simple task! It required not only extraordinary materials but also divine will. The act of creating humanity itself was a request of heaven; without the permission of the heavenly path, this new race could not come into existence. 0

Heaven willed for humanity to be born; heaven willed for Nuwa to create humanity, and only Nuwa could do so. 0

Hongjun could not change this fact; all he could do was allow Ye Chuanze to intervene in the matter of creation and gain some Merit. Ye Chuanze understood this point, which made him increasingly grateful to Hongjun. In an instant, his gaze toward Hongjun softened considerably. 0

After a moment of silence, Ye Chuanze said, "Master, since the treasure has been refined, I will no longer disturb your meditation." 0

Hongjun seemed indifferent to his sudden departure. His expression was cold and detached, his gaze calm and unruffled as if he cared little about Ye Chuanze's leaving. He replied in a flat tone, "Go." 0

Ye Chuanze looked up at him for a moment, observing his expression before finally shifting his gaze away and saying, "Disciple takes leave!" With that, he turned and walked away. 0

As he turned, Hongjun raised his eyes to glance at his departing figure. After a brief pause, he lowered his gaze again. 0

"Being your disciple too, Hongjun, you are rather biased," a deep and pleasant male voice suddenly echoed in the room. 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun picked up a teacup and brought it to his lips, concealing much of his expression. He spoke coldly, "Everything is destined by heaven; I merely follow its course." Ye Chuanze receiving the Primordial Gourd Vine and Nine Heavens Soil was heaven's will; it was meant to be. As for him, Hongjun, he merely facilitated this destiny further. From beginning to end, everything was simply heaven's will. 0

"Hmph!" With a cold snort, a man dressed in a deep blue robe over a black long coat stepped out from behind the screen in the room. He had sharp eyebrows and a straight nose, with deep facial contours that appeared chiseled, handsome and tall, exuding an imposing presence. The newcomer was none other than Mara Lord Rahu. 0

Hongjun's three sermons attracted countless listeners, and the Dao Law he spoke of spread throughout the Primordial realm. Hongjun was known as the Ancestor of Dao. The Primordial Immortals also revered him as the Dao Ancestor to show their respect. 0

In contrast, Rahul abandoned his path of cultivation and delved into the demonic way, becoming a killer in the process. He slaughtered countless demons and ruled over the Outer Demon Realm. The demons cowered beneath him, fearing his bloodshed, and referred to him as the Demon Ancestor. 0

Rahul sat down opposite Hongjun, taking the seat that Ye Chuanze had occupied earlier. His tone was cold and disdainful as he said, "What I dislike most is your attitude of attributing everything to fate. What are you afraid to admit in your heart?" 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun lifted his gaze slightly and replied nonchalantly, "How do you know I am afraid to admit anything?" 0

Rahul scoffed dismissively and said, "If you dared to admit it, why not just say that you favor Ye Chuanze? You... have your own biases!" 0

"Why should I state it clearly? To whom should I say it?" Hongjun looked at him, a cold smirk playing on his lips. "Why should I explain my matters to anyone?" 0

Rahul chuckled at this. "You should be like this!" 0

"Hongjun!" Rahul called out, saying, "I have always thought that you are more suited to embrace the demonic path than I am. Your heart is much colder than mine; in this regard, I am not as good as you." 0

Hongjun lowered his eyes and replied, "The Demon Realm is too desolate." 0

Rahul glanced at him and coldly laughed. "The Demon Realm will not remain desolate forever." 0

As soon as these words were spoken, the atmosphere grew tense. 0

Neither Hongjun nor Rahul spoke; a heavy silence enveloped them. 0

Rahul casually picked up a teacup from the table, brought it to his lips, took a sip, and said, "This bland and tasteless tea, I don't know what's so good about it. If you ask me, if you're going to drink, it should be alcohol!" 0

Hongjun glanced at him; that was the cup Ye Chuanze had just used. He took out a jar of wine from the Mustard Seed Space and replaced it with a set of wine utensils, saying, "If you want to drink, help yourself." 0

Rahul was not polite and poured himself some wine, drinking on his own. As the wine went down cup after cup, Rahul's expression softened, no longer as cold and murderous as before. He poured another cup and said, "I just don't understand, why won't you let me go find Ye Chuanze?" 0

"It is fate," Hongjun replied calmly. 0

Rahul sneered, " Hongjun! Don't think that just because you are in tune with the heavenly way, you are the heavenly way!" 0

Suddenly, Hongjun, who had been looking down, abruptly raised his eyes. His gaze was icy and shot towards him like a cold arrow. 0

Rahul felt a jolt in his heart; this was not Hongjun's usual look. 0

Cold, merciless, lifeless. 0

This was not the gaze of a Sentient Being. 0

Meanwhile, Ye Chuanze, after leaving the Purple Cloud Palace, flew straight to Mount Buzhou. Upon reaching the foot of Buzhou Mountain, he landed and walked back to Yunze Cave. When he returned, Qingshan approached him and said, "Master, during your absence, Lady Nuwa has visited several times." Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze felt reassured. He understood why Lady Nuwa had come. 0

Not long after he returned to the cave, Lady Nuwa came to visit again. Ye Chuanze had Qingshan invite her in. When she saw him, her first words were, "Why did you come looking for me? You should know." 0

Ye Chuanze looked up at her and noticed her icy expression; there was a chilling aura of killing intent between her brows. He couldn't help but sigh helplessly and advised her, "Lady Nuwa, one cannot force what is not meant to be." 0

"What is forceful demand?" Nüwa retorted, "Red Cloud obtained the last strand of Primordial Purple Qi, yet missed the opportunity to hear the final path to sanctification. If anyone is being forceful, it should be him! Since he has no chance to become a saint, he should not take that last strand of Primordial Purple Qi and instead give it to someone who does have the opportunity." 0

After a brief pause, Nüwa continued, "In terms of birth and background, cultivation level, and fortune, how is my brother any less than Red Cloud? This Primordial Purple Qi should rightfully belong to my brother!" 0

Ye Chuanze saw her firm expression and realized she was determined to seize the strand of Primordial Purple Qi from Red Cloud. Knowing that no matter what he said, he could not persuade her, he refrained from discussing Great Dao principles and simply asked, "Fuxi knows your thoughts?" 0

Nüwa pressed her lips together and replied, "I have not told him, but he should have some guesses in his heart." 0

"Well... he probably knows your thoughts, which is why he has been frowning and preoccupied these days," Ye Chuanze said, fixing his gaze on her. "He is worried about you; he fears you will bring trouble upon yourself. He does not want you to wade into this murky water." 0

Nüwa frowned, her lips tightly pressed together as she stated, "No matter what, I must obtain this strand of Primordial Purple Qi." 0

"Even if Fuxi opposes it?" Ye Chuanze asked her. 0

"Even if my brother opposes it, he cannot stop me." Nüwa looked up at him and said, "I have been with my brother since birth; we have never been apart for countless years. Even in terms of cultivation level, we are quite equal. The position of Sage is revered and powerful; no one knows what will happen after becoming a saint. I only wish for my brother to become a saint alongside me; I do not want to lose him. Sages are immortal; if I become a saint, my brother must also become a saint!" 0

"Fuxi does not care about these things," Ye Chuanze said. 0

"No, he does care," Nüwa firmly countered. "He may not care about the position of Sage, but he certainly cares that he cannot be with me forever. He... worries about me. If one day he were to leave and I was left alone, he would undoubtedly be troubled in his heart." 0

"..." With the conversation reaching this point, Ye Chuanze found himself at a loss for words. 0

"Alright... what do you need me to do?" Ye Chuanze asked. 0

Upon hearing this, Nüwa finally relaxed her brow and said, "I want you to help me seize the strand of Primordial Purple Qi from Red Cloud. There will surely be others who have their eyes on that strand of Primordial Purple Qi as well. I need your assistance; I must obtain this last strand of Primordial Purple Qi!" 0

Ye Chuanze glanced at her and after a moment said, "Alright." 0

The bento was in consideration of Fuxi, so I accompanied you into this murky water. Ye Chuanze knew that this last strand of Primordial Purple Qi was a trap set by Hongjun, yet he still agreed to Nüwa's plea for help. The reason was not only due to his friendship with Nüwa but also because of his relationship with Fuxi. Fuxi regarded him as a close friend, and in return, he viewed Fuxi the same way. Recently, Fuxi had been troubled and worried that Nüwa might take risks because of this last strand of Primordial Purple Qi and get herself into trouble. Now, he accompanied Nüwa into danger to understand the situation. 0

At this moment, Ye Chuanze cast aside Hongjun's words. 0

Hongjun had repeatedly instructed him to keep a low profile and avoid causing trouble. Ye Chuanze had earnestly nodded in agreement in front of Hongjun, but now... 0

Hongjun had set a trap that involved all the top immortals of the Primordial realm, including Ye Chuanze and the Three Pure Ones. 0

At this time, inside Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi was invited by friends from overseas to visit. Before leaving, he repeatedly warned Red Cloud, "While I'm gone, don't go outside. Stay inside Wuzhuang Temple and absolutely do not leave!" 0

Red Cloud replied impatiently, "I know, you've said it countless times already. Just hurry up and go! Don't miss your appointment." 0

Seeing Red Cloud's impatient expression, Zhen Yuanzi decided not to say more and sighed quietly before riding the clouds away to visit his friends. 0
