Thirty-Three Heavens Outside, Purple Cloud Palace. 0

Inside Purple Cloud Hall, there was a clamor of whispers. The usually quiet Purple Cloud Hall was now filled to capacity, with every capable immortal from the Primordial coming to listen to the teachings. Compared to the emptiness during the first sermon, the current scene could be described as a grand spectacle. This time, all the immortals who had attended Hongjun's first sermon were present, not a single one missing. Many new faces had also appeared, including Ancestral Witch Houtu. 0

As during the first sermon, a Lotus Platform was placed in the center at the front of Purple Cloud Palace, which was where Hongjun would be seated. The first row had three Lotus Platforms occupied by the Three Pure Ones, while the second row was taken by Nüwa, Jieyin, and Zhun Ti. Behind them sat Fuxi, Di Jun, and Taiyi, among others. The immortals who had previously attended the sermon at Purple Cloud Palace retained their original seats without any changes. 0

This was all due to territorial awareness; in the ancient times of the Primordial, the sense of territory among the immortals was extremely strong. According to Ye Chuanze, this was because civilization had not yet developed, and these uncultured immortals still retained a fierce instinct for protecting their resources akin to wild beasts. They believed that if they occupied a place, it belonged to them, and no one else could encroach upon it. Similarly, in places that were already claimed, one could not simply take over. Attempting to seize such territory meant challenging its owner; if victorious, the territory would be yours; if defeated, it would come at a heavy cost. 0

The later arrivals could only seek seats in other vacant areas within Purple Cloud Palace. No one would easily provoke other immortals. Those who dared to do so were either powerful enough to fear no one or simply seeking death. Even in the past when Di Jun coveted that Lotus Platform, he did not dare to snatch it from Fuxi. When Kunpeng took over Fuxi's position, he ultimately had to relinquish it. Similarly, Red Cloud voluntarily gave up his own Lotus Platform. This clearly demonstrated how difficult it was to encroach upon claimed territories. 0

At this moment, Hongjun Daoist had yet to arrive, and whispers filled the air within Purple Cloud Hall. Many immortals were engaged in quiet conversations. 0

Di Jun glanced at Fuxi, whose empty white robe shoulder caught his attention for a moment, and asked, "Where is Mr. Ye?" 0

Fuxi replied calmly, "He will come soon." 0

After hearing this, Di Jun pondered for a moment before asking again, "Is Mr. Ye doing well after his last tribulation?" 0

"Naturally," said Fuxi. 0

Upon hearing this response from him, Di Jun did not press further. He understood that he would not be able to extract much information today. 0

The dramatic celestial phenomena caused by Ye Chuanze's second transformation tribulation could not be hidden from the immortals of the Primordial. Moreover, with his significant reputation among them and familiarity with many of those present, numerous immortals were paying attention to his tribulation; Di Jun was one of them. 0

After that day’s thunder tribulation, no auspicious signs appeared; it seemed that Ye Chuanze had failed his transformation. Seeing this, Di Jun felt a deep sense of lamentation and sighed inwardly about the difficulties faced by his demon clan! He then wondered if Ye Chuanze was still alive. Generally speaking, if a spiritual being failed their transformation tribulation, they would either be completely destroyed or have their primordial spirit annihilated. However, Di Jun believed that with Ye Chuanze's fierce and extraordinary abilities, he should not perish so easily. Besides, he had a precedent; after failing his first transformation tribulation, he had lived on without any issues at all. 0

Although he thought this way, without seeing Ye Chuanze, Di Jun still did not dare to draw conclusions easily. Anything was possible; perhaps on that day, Ye Chuanze had bad luck and was struck by lightning? Who could say for sure? Di Jun recalled the Nine Heavens Purple Thunder Tribulation, where the heavens and earth lost their color, dark clouds gathered ominously, and a sudden roar echoed like a dragon's roar. The flashes of lightning and thunder, accompanied by the destructive aura of the purple divine thunder tribulation, came one after another, each more powerful than the last. Just being a bystander left one shaken, making it hard to step forward, let alone Ye Chuanze who personally faced the tribulation. Di Jun once thought that if Ye Chuanze did not survive the thunder tribulation and was completely destroyed, he would not be surprised. 0

Without having seen it with his own eyes, Di Jun could not be certain whether Ye Chuanze was dead or alive. However, regardless of life or death, the news would eventually spread; he just needed to wait patiently. But who knew that after the thunder tribulation, Ye Chuanze seemed to have evaporated from the world, with no trace or news of him at all. Fuxi and Nuwa remained silent, revealing nothing about him. 0

Unable to ascertain the truth of the matter, Di Jun was genuinely curious, his heart hanging in suspense and feeling exceptionally uncomfortable. He believed he was not the only one with such thoughts; today he had finally encountered Fuxi and seized the opportunity to ask directly. Little did he know that Fuxi was cunning and refused to divulge any information, could it be… that there was some hidden truth? Focused on conspiracies for thirty thousand years without wavering, Di Jun began to speculate and fill in the gaps. 0

What Di Jun did not know was that Fuxi was not withholding information from him; rather, he simply did not know what had happened to Ye Chuanze now. Fuxi knew that after Ye Chuanze's first failed tribulation, Hongjun had appeared at Buzhou Mountain to help him, saving him from death. Therefore, after Ye Chuanze's second failed tribulation, Fuxi had stopped Nuwa from hastily rushing to the Valley to see Ye Chuanze. He was waiting for Hongjun to intervene again and save Ye Chuanze once more. With Hongjun's abilities, as long as Ye Chuanze still had a breath left in him, he would certainly not die. 0

Little did they know that Hongjun indeed intervened but extended his reach too far and directly took Ye Chuanze away. Quietly leaving as he had come, he waved his sleeve and took away a Black Lotus. From then on, Fuxi lost all news of Ye Chuanze and knew nothing of his condition. Although Fuxi felt worried and anxious in his heart, he was powerless to act. He had considered going to the Purple Cloud Palace outside Thirty-Three Heavens to gather information but was dissuaded by Nuwa. 0

"Brother," she said, "since Hongjun Daoist secretly came to Buzhou Mountain to take away Ye Chuanze without letting others know, if you rashly go to the Purple Cloud Palace now, it might not end well." 0

Upon hearing this, Fuxi pondered for a moment and found her reasoning sound; thus he abandoned the idea of going to the Purple Cloud Palace for information. However, his worries did not diminish because he finally waited for the second sermon at Purple Cloud Palace to begin and had a reason to go there himself. He hurriedly set off with Nuwa. 0

Little did they know that upon entering Purple Cloud Palace, they saw neither Hongjun nor Ye Chuanze. He steadied his mind and comforted himself that perhaps Hongjun Daoist would appear soon! 0

Half an hour later, Hongjun Daoist in a Purple Robe with Flowing Hair emerged from a side hall and walked over at a leisurely pace. 0

Fuxi, Nuwa, Di Jun, Taiyi, and the Three Pure Ones saw him and were all taken aback with astonishment. 0

They beheld the handsome figure of the Purple Robed Daoist approaching slowly; his elegance captivated everyone. His thin lips were pressed into a straight line with an expressionless face; he should have been someone cold and hard to approach but surprisingly held a beautiful Black Lotus in his hands, adding a touch of gentleness typical of someone who cherished flowers. 0

This action was truly inconsistent with his demeanor; no wonder everyone was left speechless. 0

The Three Pure Ones were the first to recover from their shock; they calmly picked up their dropped jaws and cast disdainful glances at the still astonished immortals around them. Look at this—this is the difference between those who know the inside story and those who do not. 0

Hongjun cast a cold glance at them, and everyone immediately turned their heads, retracting their gazes. 0

Hongjun walked to the center of the Lotus Platform at the front of the great hall and sat down. He placed the Black Lotus in his hands on his crossed legs and lightly scanned all the immortals present who had come to listen to the teachings. Then he slightly parted his lips, "This time, the teaching will also last for three thousand years..." 0

Hongjun closed his eyes and recited the Dao Law, as Golden Lotus emerged from the ground, swirling around him. Rays of light shone brightly, and auspicious signs descended from the heavens. The fragrance of lotus filled the air, cleansing the Lotus Platform with sacred sounds. With no desires or hopes in his heart, free from hatred or resentment, he eliminated distracting thoughts and entered a state of meditation. 0

His silver hair cascaded down to his waist, and the purple hem of his robe spread elegantly on the ground. Hongjun closed his eyes, his expression calm and indifferent, neither sad nor happy. His lips moved as countless profound and extensive Dao Laws poured forth from his mouth. A black jade Black Lotus lay quietly on his crossed legs, its palm-sized Lotus Platform shimmering with flickering purple-black light. The surrounding Golden Lotus seemed influenced by him, transforming into streams of golden light that flowed into the Black Lotus. 0

The Golden Lotus transformed into golden light that surged into the Black Lotus, quickly generating new Golden Lotus, which once again surrounded Hongjun. Within the state of Primordial Spirit inside the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but feel puzzled about what this Golden Lotus was. Why did he feel exceptionally comfortable after absorbing these Golden Lotus, a sensation so profound it felt more pleasurable than taking drugs? 0

Ye Chuanze had always thought these Golden Lotus were merely for aesthetics and had little actual effect; he assumed that the other immortals listening in the Purple Cloud Palace thought similarly. He had never seen anyone absorb these Golden Lotus! If it weren't for Hongjun's earlier reminder to absorb as many as possible, he would have never considered it. The implication was clear: the more absorbed, the better. He still didn't realize that this was a different way to utilize the Golden Lotus. 0

Regardless of what this Golden Lotus was, it was undoubtedly a good thing; Hongjun would not harm him. Ye Chuanze diligently absorbed these Golden Lotus, feeling as if his Primordial Spirit were immersed in warm water, utterly comfortable. This sensation felt like being in paradise. He thought to himself that he finally understood why some people became addicted to opium; this level of comfort was truly addictive. 0

"Do not be distracted; focus on listening to the teachings," Hongjun suddenly conveyed through his Primordial Spirit. 0

Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze immediately collected his thoughts and settled down to concentrate on listening. 0
