Ye Chuanze remained in the Purple Cloud Palace, temporarily residing by the lotus pond outside Hongjun's chamber. Nourished by the spiritual spring, the lotus body and Primordial Spirit of the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus became increasingly solid after experiencing another tribulation; ordinary weapons could not harm it. Ye Chuanze couldn't help but recall the last time when his sword split the Creation Azure Lotus into three parts. Since both were born from the same Chaos Azure Lotus, he felt a sense of camaraderie and sympathy. 0

Even among Innate Spiritual Treasures, there are distinctions in strength. Among the four Twelve-Tiered Lotuses, the most powerful is the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus, followed by the Twelve Grades of Fiery Red Lotus, with the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus ranking third, and at the bottom is the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus. However, this does not mean that one is superior to another. For instance, although the low-ranking Merit Golden Lotus lacks offensive and defensive capabilities compared to others, it can suppress fortune. Each of the four Lotus Platforms has its unique strengths, making it difficult to determine an overall ranking. 0

The immortals of Primordial are often quite idle, but Hongjun is the most leisurely person Ye Chuanze has ever seen. Hongjun frequently comes to sit quietly by the lotus pond, sometimes just sitting there silently, gazing calmly at the full pond of lotus flowers for a long time without saying a word. Other times, he sits by the pond and leisurely recites Dao Law, allowing Ye Chuanze to listen attentively and significantly improve his cultivation. 0

Hongjun even built a stone table beside the lotus pond, making it more convenient for him to drink wine and admire the lotuses. Ye Chuanze couldn't help but wonder if he particularly liked lotuses; otherwise, why would he come to sit and stroll near the pond every day, regardless of day or night? 0

Finally, one day, Ye Chuanze couldn't hold back any longer and asked, "Why do you keep hanging around me?" If you don't find it annoying, I certainly do. 0

Sitting at the stone table by the lotus pond, Hongjun turned slightly to look at him. His long hair cascaded down to his waist as he replied in a melodious voice, "In the Purple Cloud Palace, aside from you, there is no one else." 0

"..." Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but twitch his mouth; so you're just lonely. 0

"If you find it too quiet, why not take on a few disciples? It would be livelier with more people," suggested Ye Chuanze. 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun remained expressionless and slightly moved his lips to say, "Aren't you one?" 0

"..." Completely lacking any self-awareness as a disciple, Ye Chuanze felt as if he had been shot in the knee. 0

In summary, in the quiet and desolate Purple Cloud Palace, with only one living being present, the long-lonely Hongjun Daoist found new amusement. He began to play with his own disciple; after accepting Ye Chuanze as his student, Hongjun realized that having a disciple could be enjoyable too. The door to a new world had opened. Having a strong and resilient disciple who wouldn't be easily broken was every teacher's lifelong wish. 0

The Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus quietly bloomed in the lotus pond, its body as black as jadeite and shimmering with a faint luster. The layers of dark jade petals were crystal-clear and translucent, appearing exceptionally beautiful. This was different from the previous wilted blackened flowers; it was full of vibrant life. After some time of nurturing, the lotus body had nearly fully recovered, and the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus regained its former beauty. 0

This time's thunder tribulation also left an imprint of heavenly Dao Law on the Twelve-Tiered Lotus. For these past days, Ye Chuanze had been deeply focused on refining and comprehending these heavenly laws in hopes of advancing further in his understanding of Dao Law, preparing for his next tribulation. He sensed that his transformation day was not far off; perhaps his next tribulation would be when he successfully transformed. 0

As usual, Hongjun often came to sit quietly by the lotus pond. This behavior greatly annoyed Ye Chuanze. With such a lively person sitting beside him, who could calm down to focus on cultivation? If it weren't for how sometimes listening to Hongjun's teachings helped him understand Dao Law, he would have kicked him out long ago. Over time, he became accustomed to having this lively person beside him—his presence, his indifference, and silence. 0

Ye Chuanze noticed some changes in the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus. Originally black like jadeite, traces of purple began to appear on its surface. These purple marks were not very obvious; they were hard to notice without close inspection. Confused and unable to figure it out after much thought, he decided to ask Hongjun. 0

After hearing his inquiry, Hongjun casually replied, "Those are remnants left by the Nine Heavens Purple Thunder Tribulation. You faced two thunder tribulations; during your second one, you directly confronted it with your body as a lotus platform. It’s likely that your lotus platform absorbed a small portion of undispersed thunder tribulation energy, resulting in this change." 0

Seeing that he still looked troubled and deep in thought, Hongjun reassured him: "There's no need for concern; this will benefit you rather than harm you. The Twelve-Tiered Lotus refined by the Nine Heavens Purple Thunder Tribulation will become even more indestructible. The lotus platform that absorbed thunder tribulation energy will also possess thunderous power." After pausing for a moment, he added: "The Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus, after all, can absorb all destructive energies from heaven and earth; this Nine Heavens Purple Thunder Tribulation is one of them." 0

Ye Chuanze thought carefully about Hongjun's words and felt that, indeed, as he said, they were powerful yet harmless, which put his mind at ease. 0

*********** 0

It was a clear and sunny morning. Ye Chuanze was hiding inside the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus, lazily dozing off, enjoying a moment of leisure. Purple Robe and Flowing Hair's Hongjun Daoist sat by the lotus pond with a pot of fine wine and a cup, enjoying the company of the lotus while drinking and having fun. 0

"Disciple greets Master." 0

Suddenly, a noise disturbed Ye Chuanze's peaceful dreams. He woke up from his slumber, recognizing the voice as somewhat familiar. 0

"Well, since you are here, stay in the Purple Cloud Palace for a while!" Hongjun said in a calm tone. 0

"Yes, Master." 0

Ye Chuanze revealed his ethereal form and sat upright on the Black Lotus. He looked at the few people in front of him and was shocked! Who did I see? How could the Three Pure Ones be here? 0

He was not the only one shocked; upon seeing the Twelfth-Grade Black Lotus in the lotus pond, the Three Pure Ones were equally astonished. How could he be here? What kind of relationship did Master have with him? They recalled that after the last lecture at the Purple Cloud Palace, among many celestial beings, only Hongjun had chosen to keep him behind. Each of the Three Pure Ones had their own thoughts while their expressions remained neutral. 0

As if ignoring the varied expressions of those present, Hongjun said calmly, "This is your junior brother Ye Chuanze. Please take care of him in the future." 0

Upon hearing this, the Three Pure Ones were all taken aback and then replied in unison, "Disciples will obey Master's orders!" 0

Hongjun glanced at Ye Chuanze and said, "Why don't you greet your senior brothers?" 0

Called out like this, Ye Chuanze finally snapped back to reality from his shock and hurriedly said, " Ye Chuanze greets the three senior brothers." 0

In his memory, there had been rumors that before Hongjun became a saint and before the lectures at the Purple Cloud Palace, he had privately accepted the Three Pure Ones as disciples. However, this claim was quite controversial, and its truth remained uncertain. Seeing the Three Pure Ones address Hongjun as Master truly startled him; it took him a while to regain his composure. However, it seemed that many of his past doubts had now found answers. 0

Why were the Three Pure Ones among the first to arrive at the Purple Cloud Palace when it opened for teachings? Why did they occupy the top three positions on the Lotus Platform? These previously puzzling questions now had answers. It seemed that the Three Pure Ones were indeed direct disciples of Hongjun Daoist, destined to inherit his legacy and pass down his teachings. 0

Hongjun surveyed both the Three Pure Ones and Ye Chuanze, speaking in a calm yet firm tone: "You are all my disciples of the Daoist Sect; you should treat each other like brothers and sisters, helping and caring for one another. You must not bully fellow disciples or harm each other! There should be respect for elders and love for juniors; I hope you all remember this." 0

Hearing this, both Ye Chuanze and the Three Pure Ones responded in unison: "Disciples will remember Master's orders and dare not disobey!" 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun's stern expression finally softened. 0

Ye Chuanze pondered in his heart that when he first met Hongjun, he had immediately recognized him as his master. At that time, the world had just begun to take shape, in an extremely ancient era. The Three Pure Ones must have only recently taken form back then! Now that the Three Pure Ones had become his senior brothers, it was clear that Hongjun had accepted them as disciples long before he met Ye Chuanze. Ye Chuanze felt a bit puzzled; how could Hongjun have encountered the Three Pure Ones so early and taken them as disciples? 0

What he did not know was that Hongjun had actually accepted the Three Pure Ones as disciples after meeting him. He intentionally let the Three Pure Ones be the older ones while he took on the role of the younger one. The words he had just spoken were meant to plan for Ye Chuanze's future. The Three Pure Ones shared a deep brotherly bond, naturally not needing Hongjun to worry about internal strife or mutual harm. His words implied that the Three Pure Ones should look after Ye Chuanze in the future. 0

The Three Pure Ones were also perceptive individuals and quickly understood Hongjun's intentions. They were quite surprised; it seemed that Ye Chuanze had a very close relationship with their master. Otherwise, their master would not have gone to such lengths for him. The Three Pure Ones began to consider how they should interact with Ye Chuanze in the future. Since it was their master's command, they naturally dared not disobey. 0

Hongjun's actions held deeper meaning as well. The Three Pure Ones were destined to inherit his teachings and carry on his legacy, and their status would be second only to him within the Taoist Sect. Building a good relationship with Ye Chuanze would provide them with additional support and security. Furthermore, since the Three Pure Ones were destined to become saints, their elder brother could not be an immortal of lesser cultivation than a Sage. While the position of Sage was predetermined, Ye Chuanze seemed unlikely to attain that status. Nevertheless, Hongjun calculated that he would still have great opportunities in the future, achieving results comparable to those of a Sage. 0

After spending these days together, Hongjun truly regarded Ye Chuanze as his disciple, wholeheartedly planning for him and adding to his advantages. 0

Unfortunately, Ye Chuanze failed to understand his master's good intentions. 0
