Fuxi and Nüwa landed at the foot of Buzhou Mountain. Nüwa headed straight back to the Cave, while Fuxi turned around and took Ye Chuanze back to his Valley.
Nüwa frowned and said to Ye Chuanze, "You can move freely, can't you go back by yourself? Why do you have to trouble my brother?"
Lying quietly on Fuxi's white-clad shoulder was the Twelve-Petal Black Lotus the Size of a Palm, glowing with flickering purple-black light. Ye Chuanze lazily replied, "I can't; I have no hands or feet, so naturally, I need to trouble your brother."
Nüwa choked on her words and after a moment said angrily, "You are truly shameless!"
"Thank you for the compliment," Ye Chuanze said without a hint of embarrassment, as if Nüwa was genuinely praising him.
Seeing this, Nüwa's expression turned furious, but she felt helpless against him. After knowing Ye Chuanze for so many years, she had long seen through his thick-skinned nature.
Ye Chuanze looked at her unmasked anger and scoffed lightly, saying in a calm tone, "Your brother Fuxi doesn't mind me; why do you, little girl?"
"That's because my brother doesn't hold it against you." Nüwa couldn't stand how Ye Chuanze took advantage of her brother as free labor whenever he had the chance.
Ye Chuanze revealed a tiny figure about the size of a thumb, slightly transparent, lazily sitting on the palm-sized Black Lotus on Fuxi's shoulder. He casually swung his little legs and said without reservation, "Since your brother doesn't mind me, why do you still care? Nüwa, can't you learn from your brother and be more magnanimous?"
" Ye Chuanze!" Nüwa raised her voice. "You're getting more and more outrageous!"
Seeing that his sister was genuinely angry, Fuxi called out, "Nüwa."
Hearing her brother's voice, Nüwa turned to look at him.
Fuxi gently shook his head at the gaze of his younger sister. Upon seeing this, Nüwa lightly pressed her lips together and fell silent. However, her expression still looked quite displeased.
Fuxi raised his long, fair hand, which was as smooth as jade, and softly stroked her head, speaking in a gentle tone, "Since you know that Ye Chuanze is not worth your time, why bother with him? It only lowers your status unnecessarily."
"…Damn it! Fuxi, you brother complex, I'll drag you out and burn you!" Ye Chuanze cursed angrily.
Nüwa shot him a fierce glare. "You dare!"
"…" Threatened by his sister, Ye Chuanze wiped his sweat! Is this world truly ruled by brother complex/sister complex?
After finishing with Ye Chuanze, Nüwa finally reined in her murderous aura and turned to look at her older brother. She smiled sweetly at him, appearing exceptionally obedient. Seeing this, Ye Chuanze felt a shiver run down his spine; how terrifying… Sister, if you are this ruthless, you won't be able to get married! Suddenly, Ye Chuanze felt a sense of schadenfreude at the thought that Nüwa might remain single for life.

Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus quietly perched on Fuxi's white-clad shoulder as he walked at a leisurely pace toward Ye Chuanze's Valley. He said lightly, "Can't you make things easier for everyone? Don't provoke Nüwa. If she gets angry, even I can't stop her."
The tiny figure the size of a thumb sitting on Black Lotus's shoulder casually swung its little feet and spoke lazily, "Are you unable to stop her or just unwilling? Nüwa doesn't listen to anyone but you as her brother."
Fuxi smiled faintly at this remark and replied without changing his expression, "Since she is my sister, I naturally won't let anyone bully her."
Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze suddenly became interested and asked, "If one day Nüwa and I get into a fight, whose side will you take?"
Fuxi glanced down at him with a smirk. "Do I even need to say? Naturally… I will help Nüwa."
"I knew it!" Ye Chuanze said indignantly. "You deserve to be dragged out and burned!"
Fuxi smiled calmly at this, showing no concern for his words.
The two walked silently into the Valley.
After a while, Fuxi suddenly asked, "When do you plan to transform again?"
"Not long from now, in the coming days. I plan to enter seclusion for a while to comprehend the Dao Law I heard at Purple Cloud Palace. After that, I will prepare for my second transformation," Ye Chuanze replied.
Upon hearing this, Fuxi said lightly, "Niangniang and I also plan to enter seclusion for a while. Remember to inform me when you transform."
"Of course."
Fuxi escorted Ye Chuanze back into the Valley. Standing by the tranquil lake, the Black Lotus, which had been quietly resting on Fuxi's shoulder, slowly floated up and finally landed on the azure waters. In the blink of an eye, it blossomed into a pool of White Lotuses, filling the air with their fragrance.
As Fuxi gazed at this scene, he couldn't help but think of a saying—flowers bloom and wither in an instant.
"Alright, Fuxi, you should head back quickly! Don't keep Niangniang waiting; otherwise, who knows how she might curse me!" Having used him up, Ye Chuanze waved him off without hesitation.
Hearing this, Fuxi good-naturedly said his farewells.
After saying that, he turned and left.
*******
Ye Chuanze truly did as he said and entered seclusion for cultivation that very day. At the same time, Fuxi and Niangniang also closed their Cave and devoted themselves to understanding the Dao. All the Primordial immortals who had once listened to the teachings at Purple Cloud Palace were likewise in seclusion, deeply contemplating the Dao Law. The Dao Law spoken by Hongjun was extremely profound and extensive; all the immortals benefited greatly from it. The doubts they encountered in their cultivation were resolved one by one. Although the teachings at Purple Cloud Palace had concluded, the path of cultivation and inquiry into the Dao continued for the immortals. Thus, upon returning to their respective Caves, they chose to enter seclusion in hopes of furthering their understanding of the Dao.
Primordial has passed in the blink of an eye, spanning hundreds of years. Within the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus, the Primordial Spirit state of Ye Chuanze slowly opened his eyes, his deep black gaze calm and undisturbed, as profound and vast as the night sky. He manifested his ethereal form, sitting upright on the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, shaking his black and gold embroidered sleeves, creating a powerful current that stirred the lake, causing the White Lotus to be severed, petals floating atop the water.
Ye Chuanze curled the corners of his lips, revealing a hint of satisfaction on his expressionless face. Now, the entity formed by his Primordial Spirit was becoming increasingly real, allowing his ethereal form to also unleash magical attacks against enemies. However, an ethereal form is still just that—ethereal. No matter how real it seems, it is not truly so. The urgent task at hand is to transform into a physical form as soon as possible.
He slightly raised his eyes to glance in the direction of Fuxi and Nüwa's Cave, sensing the deep restrictions in place. He knew that at this moment, the door to the Cave must be tightly shut, with Fuxi and Nüwa still in seclusion. Ye Chuanze furrowed his brows slightly, uncertain how much longer they would remain in seclusion. Before their retreat, he had promised Fuxi that he would inform them when he transformed. Now that both were still in seclusion, he felt hesitant to disturb them and disrupt their cultivation.
Although if he were to interrupt their seclusion, neither Fuxi nor Nüwa would blame him. What Fuxi had said back then implied just that. If at the time of his transformation they were still in seclusion, they would want him to inform them directly so they could halt their cultivation and emerge immediately. After thousands of years of friendship, Ye Chuanze had a good relationship with both Fuxi and Nüwa. While it may not be as brotherly as that with the Three Pure Ones, Di Jun, or Taiyi, it was genuine.
The transformation and tribulation for Ye Chuanze was a matter of life and death; naturally, Fuxi and Nüwa would be concerned and want to keep watch over him. Even if they could not help directly, their presence would provide reassurance. They could always enter seclusion again later, but for Ye Chuanze, this transformation tribulation might only come once in a lifetime. Surviving after failing the first transformation tribulation and having a second chance was indeed a stroke of great fortune for him.
Though he understood Fuxi's intentions, Ye Chuanze did not plan to disturb their seclusion. Enlightenment comes in an instant; it can be fleeting like a flash of lightning. If this moment of realization were interrupted now, who knows when he would have another opportunity? Therefore, Ye Chuanze decided to wander for a while and return to Buzhou Mountain after they emerged from their retreat.
Manifesting his ethereal form, he sat on the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, flying eastward towards the Primordial. This was actually his first time venturing out alone. In the past, due to concerns about his identity as a Supreme Innate Spiritual Treasure, Ye Chuanze had been reluctant to venture out alone for fear of being targeted by others seeking to claim him as a treasure. But now, those worries had dissipated. The man-eating flowers beneath Buzhou Mountain had gained notoriety across the entire Primeval Continent. Who would dare approach him without fearing for their life?
There had been individuals before who attempted to capture him as a treasure due to their confidence in their abilities but ended up being annihilated by his *Primordial Spirit, losing their lives and paths. Their treasures then became spoils for Ye Chuanze, who proudly claimed them as trophies. After several deterrents, many celestial beings in the Primordial grew wary of him and sounded alarms within themselves. Weighing the pros and cons internally, they dared not offend him or those behind him—namely, Fuxi and Nüwa, thus abandoning any such thoughts.
This was how things used to be; now his strength had greatly increased. He could condense his *Primordial Spirit* into an ethereal form with doubled combat power—no one dared provoke him anymore. While he might not dominate the entire realm of the Primordial, at least no foolish individuals dared set their sights on him. He no longer needed to hide cautiously or conceal himself like before. Sitting atop the Twelfth-Rank Black Lotus, wandering freely without obstruction allowed him to deeply understand that saying: "Survival of the fittest; the strong are revered."
He flew eastward without encountering any obstacles or familiar faces. Although Ye Chuanze had yet to transform and practiced *Primordial Spirit*, his innate advantages were evident; even solely practicing *Primordial Spirit*, his realm and understanding were considerable. Over these years in the Primordial, while new spiritual beings had achieved transformation, none could compare with those ancient immortals like the Three Pure Ones, Fuxi, and Nüwa, who had transformed into existence since the dawn of time.
The figures he interacted with daily were these extraordinary ancient immortals; naturally, he looked down upon those later-born immortals and did not wish to lower himself to associate with them. Initially, when he still retained human consciousness, he felt resentment towards Rahul's arrogance and insults directed at him. However, once he gained clarity regarding *Dao Law* and significantly increased his strength and realm—placing himself among top-tier powers in the *Primordial*—he realized that strong and weak can never stand on equal footing. Strength determines one's status; status often accompanies dignity. Though harsh, this is simply how survival works in the *Primordial*.
As a weakling, you have every right to resent unfair treatment; you have every right to pursue strength for improving your status until you become powerful enough that no one dares look down upon or trample you again. Those with bloodlust, integrity, and ambition deserve respect from any strong individual. Every strong person has once walked from weakness to strength; they will never belittle anyone striving for improvement but will only scorn those cowardly weaklings who cower on the ground trembling while cursing fate without taking action.
Ye Chuanze had every reason to feel proud—proud of that indomitable spirit within him that has never been extinguished: bloodlust, integrity, and resilience. He had once been weak; he had once faced oppression from stronger beings without resistance; he had once hidden carefully everywhere out of fear like a startled bird. But now he was strong enough to walk openly between heaven and earth and confront enemies head-on!
The heart to become stronger has never wavered!
Sitting upright on the Twelve-Tiered Lotus is a black-haired youth with waist-length hair. He is beautiful and young, yet his brows and eyes are filled with a fierce intensity that deeply undermines his enchanting aura, revealing three parts killing intent and seven parts coldness.
At this moment, Ye Chuanze does not realize how similar his thoughts are to those of Rahul from back then. The paths they walk are remarkably aligned, both entering the way of killing, a path that is cold and filled with murderous intent. Ye Chuanze's and Rahul's paths are so similar yet so different. What Ye Chuanze has always pursued is "the mind," while Rahul bears the wishes of the heavenly way. Ultimately, it comes down to their vastly different personalities.
However, it cannot be denied that Ye Chuanze has been greatly influenced by Rahul. In the past, following Rahul's side, Rahul's reckless and unrestrained way of killing deeply impacted Ye Chuanze.
These two are destined to be entangled throughout their lives, much like the person in the mirror and the person outside the mirror.
