"Demonic spirits? No! There is no dark energy around! I don't sense any ghostly presence nearby, how are these corpses being controlled?"
"Everyone, don't panic. Hold your positions and gather your formation. These corpses had little combat power when they were alive, and even though they have been revived now, they are certainly not a threat. We can take them all down with a single charge!"
For a moment, the Divine Warriors of Feather City were thrown into chaos. Fortunately, they had just come from a major battle, and their basic response skills were still intact. Under the command of several generals, they quickly stabilized their morale.
However, facing the dense mass of corpses below, especially since many of them were friends or even family members, put their mental fortitude to a severe test!
"Mr. Fan, what do you think we should do about this? Is there any trick to dealing with these things?"
Seeing these corpses that far exceeded their previous understanding of the Demon Clan or the evil spirits' methods of utilizing corpses, Lin Jueying and other high-ranking officials of Feather City immediately thought of Mr. Fan from Fire Mountain City, who had described such scenes to them before.
Mr. Fan recognized at a glance that these bizarre corpses were indeed the Toxic Corpses they had encountered in a village before, but the quantity and scale here were astonishingly greater.

A-Xue, take a team of elite warriors to the far east to block them; don’t let them spread elsewhere. Yue Feng, lead your team northward. Lin Zhen, keep a strict watch over the central formation while observing the entire situation in Feather City. Pay attention to every movement in the darkness; whether you discover more Toxic Corpses or those hidden assailants, report back to us immediately."
"Understood!" Lin Jueying's three trusted aides led the elite warriors of Feather City into action. The remaining task was how to eliminate such a vast number of Toxic Corpses!
"Do we just need to eliminate them from a distance?" Lin Jueying looked at the Toxic Corpses below, who were once their subjects before tonight, and a glimmer of determination flashed in her eyes. "If that's the case, then let me bear this sin!"
"Moonlight Shadow!"
A beam of light broke through the rolling dark clouds in the sky, which had been obscured by these Toxic Corpses. The Sky Moon reappeared, its light illuminating Lin Jueying's body, as if a mighty force was gathering before her.

At that moment, following the path of Lin Jueying's moonlit sword, streams of toxic blood shot up into the sky. It was unclear where such force came from. Even for the Giant Clan, blood would not spray so high after their main bloodline was severed!
A few warriors who were watching from the side thought that such a grand battle involved only elder-level experts and that they were ordinary soldiers with little connection to it. Suddenly, they all opened their mouths wide and began making hissing sounds towards the warriors of Feather City in mid-air while rushing towards them frantically.
If there had been some buildings obstructing their view before, making it hard to see their true numbers, now that they were moving, it became completely clear. Not only were there many of them, but they moved in an orderly manner like a real army.
Wang Long frowned. The creatures surging from the ground were almost doing it in vain; as long as they could not break through the Water Elemental Shield, they would never be able to harm them. So what was the point of their actions?
However, Lin Jueying clearly did not bother to think about their intentions. Watching them surge forth was even more exhilarating for her. A sword aura swept back and forth, and the more she killed, the more enjoyable it became. She had completely lost the calmness expected of a commander.
Suddenly, those Toxic Corpses seemed to have received some signal, rushing into the air one after another without any pause!
