Feng Ning's Mandarin is extremely standard, and when long audio is converted to text, it turns out to be flawless. A good Samaritan took a screenshot of this and posted it on the BBS.
They highlighted the question, "When was the Campus Belle chosen? How could it not be me?" This made the classmates feel quite uncomfortable; they wondered if this girl had lost her mind. What a peculiar situation.
People called her funny and shameless, with all sorts of comments. After going back and forth, someone actually created a two-day voting thread to mock Feng Ning:
Who is the Campus Belle in your heart?
The candidates are: Cheng Jiajia, Pei Shurou, Feng Ning, Zheng Jinjin.
Pei Shurou's father is a famous painter in South City, and she herself is an art student, but she has always been very low-key at school. Whenever art is mentioned, she inexplicably becomes a bit melancholic. Pei Shurou has a good relationship with Jiang Wen, which adds an unspoken filter to her image. In Junior High School, she had a large number of admirers and was regarded as a goddess by many boys.
Less than an hour after the post was made, Pei Shurou was leading by a significant margin.
Meanwhile, Feng Ning's votes were probably just a fraction of hers.
This was probably nothing short of self-humiliation.

After finishing his call in the hallway, Jiang Wen's expression had almost returned to normal.
He struggled to suppress his uncontrolled emotions as he returned to his dormitory.
In fact, Jiang Wen rarely paid attention to the BBS; he found such things utterly boring and didn't care about how others discussed him. However, today he felt an inexplicable and immense anger over this post.
Especially when those people spread rumors depicting Feng Ning and Jiang Wen as a barmaid and a wayward young master.
"Barmaid," they were hitting it so lightly. The bright three characters appeared before his eyes, and as the veins throbbed at his temples, Jiang Wen nearly dropped his phone.
It wasn't disdain, nor was it pity or disgust.
—He simply had an overwhelming aversion to what that word encompassed.
Every time he recalled Feng Ning drinking to the point of hospitalization while he was helplessly restrained by others, Jiang Wen would sink into a certain melancholic mood.
He couldn't distinguish what it represented, nor could he tell if he was frustrated with Feng Ning or with himself. But no matter how indifferent he pretended to be, the truth was he was just a kid not yet eighteen. With a famous father at home, he had lived a charmed life, always protected and pampered, never facing any real setbacks.
Regarding this matter, no matter how much time passed, Jiang Wen still resisted thinking about it; just the thought of it felt like torment.
It could almost be considered one of his sore spots.

While Xi Gaoyuan and Zhao Binlin were chatting and laughing, they caught sight of Jiang Wen entering. He asked, "Did you finish your call?"
Jiang Wen replied with a soft "mm."
"I've got something for you to listen to; it's hilarious."
Without saying anything, Jiang Wen handed his phone back to Zhao Binlin.
The twenty-second voice message played through the speaker, and when it reached the part where it said, "I suggest that bunch from BBS clean their eyes," a mysterious silence enveloped the dormitory.
"What is this?"
Zhao Binlin couldn't help but laugh, gossiping, "Hahaha, Feng Ning sent a voice message meant for someone else to the class group."
Jiang Wen: "......"
Since the beginning of the school year, Feng Ning had done quite a few outrageous things, so this wasn't surprising at all. She never followed the rules, and they had grown accustomed to it.
Jiang Wen sat back down at his desk and opened his book.
The two behind him were still discussing which Campus Belle to choose; it's rare for boys to gossip like those two.
He rested his head on his hand, scanning through lines of formulas, half-listening to their conversation while quietly picking up his phone again.

The next day.
Feng Ning never studied before exams. She sat in the examination room, and every few minutes, someone would pass by, glancing over with direct stares, side glances, or out of the corner of their eyes.
Last night she was mocked on the BBS, with discussions about how bizarre she was or how poor her family was. Feng Ning didn't think it was a matter that hurt her pride at all.
Others were curious to look at her; she felt no shyness whatsoever. In fact, she defiantly met the gazes of those who were peeking at her.
You look at me for as long as you want; I'll look back at you for just as long.
It made others feel embarrassed, and they hurriedly averted their gaze.
If such an embarrassing incident happened to an ordinary girl, she would probably want to dig a hole to hide in. But what about Feng Ning? Feng Ning remained very calm.
She finished the remaining exams over the next few days as if nothing had happened.
The last subject was English. When the bell signaling the end rang, Li Qifei packed his things. Looking forward to the upcoming holiday, he was in a good mood, humming a tune as he followed the crowd out of the examination room.
Just as he reached the stairs, someone tugged at his backpack strap, causing him to turn around in confusion.
Jiang Wen released his grip, leaned against the pillar, slightly lowered his head, and then straightened up.
"Are you... looking for me for something?" Li Qifei asked tentatively.
Jiang Wen said, "Do you know me?"
"I know, I know."
Not wanting to waste time with small talk, Jiang Wen got straight to the point: "Did you take that photo?"
"Ah... what photo?" Li Qifei was taken aback, his pupils dilating: "This... this one."
"Do you think studying is too boring?" Jiang Wen looked at Li Qifei, just staring at him.
Li Qifei quickly understood what he meant; a chill ran down his spine as he stammered, "W-what?"
Jiang Wen leaned in closer, lowering his voice. "If you find it boring, I don't mind making your life a bit more exciting."
Li Qifei's smile faltered, and he forced himself to say, "Is there some misunderstanding between us?"
"Choose one: delete the post and apologize, or transfer schools." Jiang Wen's tone was filled with disdain, his expression unchanged.
Whether at school or outside, he rarely used his family background to pressure others, but at this moment, without needing any rehearsal, Jiang Wen perfectly embodied the essence of a spoiled rich kid.
Li Qifei visibly flinched.

Watching the person walk away with cold eyes, Jiang Wen turned around and was taken aback.
Feng Ning was leaning casually against the wall, a look of amusement on his face as he clapped for him.
Jiang Wen felt a bit embarrassed but quickly regained his composure. "What are you doing?"
"Wow, you were quite imposing just now," Feng Ning mimicked his earlier words. "Transfer schools or delete the post, you choose."
Jiang Wen fumed. "Is eavesdropping on others your hobby?"
"You noticed that?" Feng Ning replied seriously.
Jiang Wen was left speechless.
She pondered, "So it was this little brat who was scheming against me."
Jiang Wen mocked, "Why are you so heartless?"
Feng Ning calmly corrected him, "I'm not heartless; I have a strong inner self."
She blinked playfully and said, "You don't need to stand up for me; I don't care about such things at all."
He stubbornly replied, "I didn't intend to stand up for you."
Feng Ning seemed not to hear him, her expression full of confidence. "But anyone who offends me won't get away easily!" She laughed, "You're still too naive."
"Just watch me," Feng Ning said with a sly smile as she pulled out a pink piece of paper from her backpack and quickly started writing on it with a pen. Jiang Wen glanced over, "What are you doing?"
"Didn't you say? Make this Li's life a bit more interesting. And let him experience the power of evil."
Feng Ning touched her nose and asked, "Did I ever tell you that I'm really good at fighting?"
Jiang Wen responded with a puzzled look.
"Anyone who dares to provoke me, hmph!" The person in front of her wore a familiar lewd expression that Jiang Wen recognized well. "I want him to carry a psychological scar for life!"
"Follow me."
Jiang Wen had no idea what Feng Ning was planning as she pulled him forward. They hurried down several steps, and he tried to break free, but she was too strong. After running for a while, Feng Ning finally stopped.
Jiang Wen shook her off and took a deep breath.
She inhaled deeply, adjusted her expression, and cupped her hands around her mouth, forming a horn shape. She shouted towards the distance, "Li Qifei!!!"
The voice pierced through the entire campus like a bolt of lightning.
Li Qifei was startled, his ears ringing. He turned around, but before he could grasp the situation, someone leaped up and delivered a powerful kick right to his backside.
With a loud splash, Li Qifei fell straight into the Fountain Pool. The cold winter water sent shivers through his bones.
His glasses shattered as he struggled to climb out of the pool, his face filled with shock. Standing above him, Feng Ning looked down with disdain and scolded, "You worthless man."
"Are you crazy?!" Li Qifei was furious and instinctively retaliated.
People around them began to take notice.
Feng Ning's face turned fierce as she struck a pose, hands on her hips, and shouted back even more aggressively, "You perverted creep! Even if you died in front of me, I would never agree to be with you!"
Li Qifei's mouth dropped open in disbelief. He was stunned, completely confused about what she was saying and how this had escalated.
Feng Ning held up a pink piece of stationery. "This is the love letter you wrote to me. Are you still going to deny it?"
