Kundalin came up from the hidden passage in the underground chamber, carrying a leather backpack filled with ancient texts and maps. He noticed Shiva sitting at the desk with a troubled expression on his face, and on the desk lay a worn book that had clearly been repeatedly perused.
Kundalin smiled faintly, walked over to Shiva, set down the backpack, and softly asked, " Shiva, it seems you are deep in thought. Is the mission of Patalliro troubling you?"
Shiva looked at Kundalin, nodded, and then slowly said, "Master, this mission has many layers. I not only need to find Agastya, but also consider the various forces that may ally with the Temple Knights, and how to maintain concealment in a complex environment like Patalliro."
Kundalin smiled, opened his backpack, and took out an ancient scroll, handing it to Shiva: "This is a more detailed map of Patalliro, with some information that may be useful to you, including safe hiding places and potential allies."
Shiva took the parchment and carefully unfolded it. He immediately noticed several special markings on the map, including some temples and sacred places.
Kundalin continued, "Remember, Shiva, you are not alone in this battle. Despite the daunting nature of this mission, you have the wisdom and resources of our Assassin Brotherhood to support you. And you also have your faith and skills."
Shiva After listening, the pressure in my heart eased a little. He looked deeply at Kundalin and said with emotion, "Thank you, teacher. I will remember your teachings and do my best to complete this mission."
Kundalin nodded in satisfaction and said, "Very well, then you should start preparing. Patalliro will not wait for anyone, you need to seize this opportunity."
Shiva nodded seriously, rolled up the scroll, and immersed himself in the next phase of preparation. Meanwhile, Kundalin retreated to his underground chamber to continue studying ancient texts in search of more information to aid the Assassin Brotherhood.
At that moment, both of them understood that they were not just facing a mission, but a battle concerning destiny and justice. Every step needed to be taken with caution, as they knew that Patalliro would be the key to their life and death.
Shiva carefully studied the markings on the map and felt a slight sense of relief. It seemed that there were potential allies in Patalliro - a Brahminism temple and a local hotel. He knew that in such a dangerous and unpredictable mission, these allies might be his only hope.
Shiva packed up the parchment map and other mission documents, carefully placing them in a leather pouch, tying it securely, and preparing to leave.
He walked to the weapon arsenal of the Assassin organization, a dark room filled with various weapons and tactical gear. Shiva walked familiarly past rows of weapons, including short swords, crossbows, and various concealed weapons.
He first chose a custom-made short sword, adorned with Brahminism runes to enhance the sharpness of the blade. Then he selected a compact crossbow, convenient for long-range attacks. He also prepared some smoke bombs and poison to confuse or paralyze enemies when necessary.
Finally, he also took a small wooden box containing several purple crystals - these were special items used by the Assassin Brotherhood for quick wound healing.
After all the equipment was ready, Shiva carefully placed them in a lightweight backpack. He felt a mix of nervousness and excitement about going into battle, but he knew that this mission would be far more challenging and dangerous than any before.
Shiva double-checked all his equipment one last time, took a deep breath, and walked out of the armory. He knew that the next stop would be Patalliro, a place full of unknowns and dangers, but also possibly his only chance to find Agastya and protect the mysterious sacred object.
Shiva walked to the stables of the Assassin organization, breathing in the moist earth and the scent of horses. The Horseman was a slightly older man, with a head full of gray hair, but his eyes were still sharp.
"I need a horse," Shiva said straightforwardly, "preferably one with good endurance and speed."
Horseman looked at him appraisingly and smiled, "So you're going on a mission at such a young age, you're a true brave one. I have a suitable horse for you, called 'Lightning.' It's fast, has good endurance, and will be very useful for you."
Shiva looked at Horseman and smiled in thanks, then mounted the horse named "Lightning."
Just as he was about to urge the horse to leave, Maya and Kara hurriedly ran out. Maya slapped Shiva on the leg and said, "You're leaving and didn't even say anything!"
Shiva smiled and looked at Maya, "I'm sorry, things are a bit urgent, I didn't have time to tell you."
Kara stood to the side, not saying anything, but her furrowed brow and slight nod revealed a hint of dissatisfaction and worry.
"I will be careful," Shiva said, "and I will definitely come back."
Maya and Kara both nodded, although their expressions still carried varying degrees of worry and dissatisfaction, but in the end, they wished him a safe journey.
"So, I'm leaving," Shiva said finally, then gently tugged the reins.
With a "flash," the horse quickly dashed out of the stable, carrying Shiva away into the dusty road, heading towards the distant Patalliro.
Maya and Kara stood at the stable door, their eyes following Shiva's figure until he disappeared from sight, then slowly turned back, each filled with their own emotions and expectations.
