Upon arriving at the entrance of the mine, Wu Cheng carefully surveyed his surroundings. The long-abandoned miner's rest area sat quietly to the side, filled with various wooden crates, mining tools, and headlamps. The aged wood emitted a faint woody scent, as if one could still smell the presence of the workers from days past. Dust had accumulated on the weathered wooden crates, while the mining tools lay quietly as if awaiting someone's return. A mysterious silence permeated the air, as if time had frozen in this place. 0

Behind the miner's rest area, Wu Cheng discovered an open space enclosed by various stones, surrounded by large patches of forest work areas. This open space seemed to be a resting place for the workers, yet it exuded an unusually eerie atmosphere. 0

Wu Cheng walked to the center of the open space, his gaze fixed on the arrangement of stones on the ground. These stones emitted a faint blue light, as if containing some mysterious power. He could sense that something unusual had happened here. 0

Suddenly, the surroundings changed dramatically, with flames erupting and engulfing Wu Cheng. People chanted ancient songs, their voices filled with a strong sense of evil. Although he couldn't understand the meaning of the lyrics, he could feel the ominous omen contained within. 0

In the glow of the firelight, Wu Cheng's gaze fell upon a group of people dressed differently from the singing devotees. These people were dressed in noble and ancient attire, exuding a ceremonial atmosphere. They whispered words to a young girl, weaving a mysterious language, and she seemed to be the center of the ritual. 0

The young girl's eyes were empty and lifeless, yet concealed an elusive terror. The words woven by the worshippers to her seemed like a blessing, yet carried a sense of threat. As one of the worshippers stepped forward, bowing to the young girl, the entire scene became tranquil and silent. 0

Suddenly, the little girl's pupils dilated, the black in her eyes turned crimson, and she began to mutter in a non-human voice. She spoke incomprehensible words, each one sounding like a terrifying call from the abyss. Raising her arm, she formed a blade with her hand and swiftly struck at the worshipers on the ground. 0

A head was instantly severed, and fresh blood gushed out, creating an extremely gruesome scene. The onlookers seemed drawn to the blood, licking the floor like frenzied beasts. 0

With the little girl's movements, the sound of blood and tears became sharp and piercing. Her palm became distorted from the impact, but then gradually recovered at an astonishing speed. The whole scene seemed like it came from a nightmare, filled with an eerie and terrifying atmosphere. 0

Wu Cheng felt as if everything in front of him was an unreal ritual, his existence being pulled along, yet also like an unwitting bystander. The entire ritual descended into chaos, with the worshippers falling into madness and confusion. In the crowd, a small, thin girl caught Wu Cheng's attention. She stood quietly at the center, seemingly indifferent to everything around her, as if she had already transcended the worldly troubles. 0

Suddenly, the girl's gaze met Wu Cheng, and a hint of a strange smile appeared in her eyes. She extended her slender fingers, pointing towards the entrance of the mine, as if silently telling Wu Cheng something. Then, more followers surged in, forming a wall of people that shielded Wu Cheng within. He seemed trapped in the sea of people, unable to see the girl's figure clearly anymore. 0

The followers' ritual grew increasingly frenzied, with singing, shouting, and drumming intertwining as if stirring up a chaotic storm. In this atmosphere of chaos, Wu Cheng felt himself being swept up in an irresistible force, no longer in control of his own body. 0

Suddenly, he seemed to be pulled back to the real world by a powerful force, sitting bored in his own room. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his heart rate had yet to calm down. The whole scene seemed like a nightmare, but the eerie atmosphere and terrifying impression still lingered in his mind. 0

Wu Cheng took a deep breath, trying to recover from the nightmare. He knew clearly that the girl in the ritual and the group of cultists were some kind of unimaginable existence, and all of this seemed to have a deep connection to his past and destiny. 0

Wu Cheng picked up a nearby headlamp and put it on, carefully turning the switch to ensure it still emitted light. He checked the pressure charging device on the headlamp to confirm it could still charge properly, knowing it was crucial to keep the light on in the unknown depths. 0

In pursuit of the truth, Wu Cheng decided to act without hesitation. He tightly gripped the pickaxe in his hand and headed towards the sealed mine tunnel. Each step felt like entering an unknown abyss, but his inner desire drove him to keep moving forward. 0

When he stood at the entrance of the mine tunnel, he felt a gloomy atmosphere. In the darkness, there seemed to be an invisible presence that made his heart beat faster involuntarily. However, Wu Cheng did not back down. He took a deep breath, tightened his pickaxe, and stepped forward without hesitation. 0

The mine tunnel was dark and damp, covered with dust and rubble, as if it had been forgotten for many years. The light from his headlamp illuminated the path ahead, but what he saw was a deserted ruin, like a city forgotten by time. The peeling of the ore on the walls and the visible rust everywhere couldn't help but make people feel the former prosperity of this place. 0

As he delved deeper, Wu Cheng gradually felt a strange atmosphere, as if countless eyes were staring at him from the shadows. He stopped in his tracks and heard a faint sound, like some kind of whisper, but it was unclear from which direction it was coming. He gripped his pickaxe tightly, heightened his vigilance, and cautiously continued forward. 0

Suddenly, his headlamp illuminated a vague figure standing in the darkness ahead of him. The figure's outline was blurry, as if it were some kind of illusion, but Wu Cheng could sense a strange energy emanating from it. He stared intently at the figure, filled with unease. 0

"Who are you?" Wu Cheng asked tentatively, his voice echoing in the narrow mine tunnel. 0

There was no response from the figure, but in Wu Cheng's mind, he seemed to hear a whispered reply. It was a silent communication that made his heart race and sent chills up his spine. 0

Wu Cheng Without hesitation, he tightly gripped the iron hammer and decided to move closer to the figure. No matter what he faced, he was determined not to let fear stop him from seeking the truth. 0
