Furrowing his brow, Lin Ke couldn't recall knowing this person. The only one he could think of who might be associated with nobility was Yuming. Could he be a friend of Yuming?
As his thoughts raced, Lin Ke maintained his composure. He straightened his clothes and stepped forward to ask, "Excuse me, what brings you here?"
If it were in the past, Lin Dingran would have kept people at a distance, but he had grown a lot since then. Now, when he saw strangers, he no longer wore that aloof expression.

The boy who called himself Xing Shifang was quite excited to see Lin. The earlier awkwardness faded away in his enthusiasm as he rushed forward.

When the two met, it felt like old friends reuniting. Lin quickly invited Xing Shifang into the house, and the three of them introduced themselves before sitting down to chat.
In just one afternoon, they enjoyed a pleasant conversation. Xing Shifang was straightforward and childlike, openly expressing his admiration for Lin.
Lin appreciated this kind of adoration from Xing Shifang. Most importantly, the other party had genuinely helped him; while they were not yet close friends, their relationship had significantly deepened.
As time passed slowly, the sun began to set outside. The warm yellow glow of dusk spilled into the room, where Xing Shifang's cheerful laughter still echoed.
"It's getting late, let's prepare for dinner!"
After the reminder from Dream Source, the two finally realized that the afternoon had passed, and they reluctantly ended their conversation.
"Shifang, stay for dinner tonight. I still owe you a meal, and it's just right to repay you. I don't want to keep owing you."

In this era, lacking ingredients wasn't a big deal. Lin just needed to purchase them online, and they would arrive in about ten minutes.
Due to regional reasons, many ingredients in Wuyuan Star were unfamiliar to Lin. With time being tight, he couldn't gather ingredients and had to use the most common local ones.
"Shifang, I'm afraid you won't be able to have Cool Summer Noodles. We're short on ingredients, and there's no Frostroot available here. Let's find some locally sourced ingredients and make a dinner."
Even though he said that, Xing Shifang was still slightly disappointed about not being able to have Cool Summer Noodles. He grinned and said, "Brother, just do what you think is best. I believe whatever ingredients you use will turn out delicious!"
Lin smiled and replied, "Just watch; I won't let you down. I won't betray the title of Culinary God in your hearts!"
