Seeing those two figures, not only was the Alloy Warrior stunned, but even Lin Ta and the others were taken aback, unable to understand where this group of people had come from.
The commander landed on the ground in a disheveled manner, stumbling to steady himself. His hands were numb from the earlier confrontation and were still trembling slightly, lacking strength.
"Who are you? Allies?" The commander felt a sense of retreat growing in his heart.
"The ones who will kill you!"
The Giant ran a hand through his short hair, his mouth splitting into a grin, revealing black teeth that glinted coldly in the sunlight.
Boom!
After finishing that sentence, the Giant suddenly shot forward. To everyone else, it seemed as if he had merely flickered and then vanished from sight; even the strongest Dream Source couldn't see him clearly.
"They are..." Dream Source murmured softly.
"Real experts, those with a star level above 50."
Lin caught his breath; the situation had improved significantly. He interjected.
The moment these two appeared, it was clear they were different from Ordinary Warriors. They did not exude a strong aura that immediately identified them as experts.
Instead, their presence felt surprisingly weak, so weak that they seemed like ordinary people, making it impossible to detect any Inner Qi.
This sensation made it even harder to gauge their true strength. Lin had read about this phenomenon in books; it was called "concealment." Only experts above level 50 could achieve such an effect without Special Martial Arts.
While the two were conversing, the battle over there had already reached its conclusion.
A blue flower suddenly exploded in mid-air, and the once arrogant Alloy Samurai Commander was crushed to pieces by the Giant in just two exchanges!
Thud! The commander’s mangled body fell to the ground, with everything above the waist completely gone, reduced to a pulp by the Giant. The external alloy armor was crumpled into a heap of scrap metal and tossed aside.
"Hehe! Moon! I'm done here, what are you still dawdling about over there?"
The Giant landed, scratching his head in an unrefined manner as he shouted towards the woman wielding the Scythe.
"Hmph!"
The woman, referred to as Moon, merely snorted coldly. She swung her Scythe, creating a circle of silver moonlight that descended upon the Second Room!
"Moon, don't kill her; keep her alive for information!"
The Red-Haired Demon called out from the side.
Moon did not respond; she abruptly changed the angle of her weapon. The silver moonlight split in two, originally aimed at the head of the Second Room but now targeting her legs.
Sizzle! Two light sounds echoed as the legs of the Second Room were severed, causing her to kneel on the ground, unable to move.
In just half a minute, these two had easily taken down the Alloy Warriors who had previously beaten Lin Ta to the point where they couldn't lift their heads.
Their strength was truly terrifying!
...
"Lightning-fast kills; their power is too strong."
Fatty clicked his tongue, shivering at the ruthless methods of this group; killing seemed to be as easy as a wave of the hand.
"Can you tell what their background is?" Lin asked the others with a furrowed brow. His greatest fear was that these people were also enemies; if that were the case, they might not even have a chance to escape.
"Don't worry. They seem to be on your side and have no ill intentions towards you. I don't sense any murderous intent from them," the Live Streamer said as he flew over to Lin, his Red Radiance flickering.
"Then let's wait and see what they want to do," Lin said, pursing his lips and signaling for everyone to remain calm.
...
The Red-Haired Demon and others surrounded the Second Room in the center. They did not immediately look for Lin but instead asked the Second Room, "What is your purpose for coming here?"
Kneeling among them, the Second Room bowed its head in silence, clearly unwilling to answer.
Tsukimi did not respond either; she raised her hand and thrust a Scythe through her thigh, blue liquid spraying everywhere, yet the Second Room remained silent.
"Don't waste your effort. They are artificial beings with incomplete emotions; their pain receptors have been removed for combat purposes. They are essentially sentient robots," Glasses said, adjusting his wide glasses with a sigh.
"Not good! She's going to self-destruct!" Glasses suddenly retreated several steps, hiding behind the Giant.
"What are you panicking about? In front of the boss, can she still pull off any tricks?"
Giant subtly flattered, and it was clear that Red-Haired Demon appreciated it.
As expected, Red-Haired Demon proudly curled her lips, slowly extending her palm to cover Second Room's head, and a circular Energy Shield immediately enveloped Second Room.
Boom! With a loud bang, Second Room exploded within the red Energy Shield, turning into a dazzling blue firework, while Red-Haired Demon merely shook her hand and yawned in boredom.
"How dull. With such little strength, they dare to send someone out on a mission."
Muttering to herself, Red-Haired Demon turned around to look at Lin and the others.
……
Lin gasped in shock. The way Red-Haired Demon used the Energy Shield to block Second Room's self-detonation had stunned him. He was certain that this person was incredibly powerful, someone who could dominate in the starry sea.
The self-detonation of a level 30 Second Room would definitely have a power level above 40, even comparable to a full-force attack from a level 50. Yet she yawned and casually blocked it.
Under Red-Haired Demon's intrigued gaze, Lin couldn't help but feel nervous.
With just over ten meters of distance, Lin felt that with every step those four took, the pressure on him increased.
When they reached Lin Mian, Red-Haired Demon smiled strangely. "Hello, Lin. Today, we finally meet!"
Lin frowned and pressed his lips together in silence. He was shocked inside: These people are actually here for me?
"You too, Chen Youliang. Oh my, I didn't expect you to be even fatter in person than in your hologram!"
The casual demeanor of the Red-Haired Demon left Fatty bewildered, scratching his head in confusion about how to respond.
Just as Lin Ta and the others were about to speak, a siren suddenly blared nearby, and a group of Guardians from Azure Planet arrived late to the scene.
Like a scene from an action movie, these individuals always seemed to show up only after the fighting had concluded, as if their job was merely to clean up.
"This is troublesome. Glasses, you handle it," said the Red-Haired Demon, scratching his head with an impatient expression, clearly not taking the Guardians seriously.
With formidable strength and a dismissive attitude towards the Guardians, he also seemed well aware of the details regarding Fatty and Lin. His tone did not suggest he was there to cause trouble...
A flash of insight struck Lin's mind, and he quickly deduced the origin of the Red-Haired Demon and his companions: they were from the same organization as his father and Uncle Ta, members of the Adventurers' Guild!
"Are you sent by Uncle Ta?" Lin blurted out.
The Red-Haired Demon smiled but said nothing. Instead, he pulled out a Necklace from around his neck, which had a metal tag on it featuring the same emblem as Lin's tag.
A towering giant stood prominently on it!
