The office of the Director of the Warrior Exchange. 0

Tiger stood before the desk with a grim expression. His brow was furrowed tightly, leaving no space between his eyebrows, and his demeanor was so oppressive it sent chills down one's spine. 0

Behind the desk sat Yuming, his face serious. In front of him was a bottle of Growth Catalyst from the Seventh-Level Civilization. He kept tapping his fingers on the desk, producing a rhythmic "thud" sound, looking deeply troubled. 0

Having obtained the long-desired opportunity should have brought a smile to his face, but Yuming couldn't bring himself to smile at that moment. 0

"Tiger, has the money been transferred?" 0

After a moment of silence, Yuming's first question was about money, specifically the ten million meant for Lin. 0

"Not yet, boss," Tiger replied in a hoarse voice, low and restrained. 0

"Transfer it now; delaying might lead to more complications. We can't let Lin suspect anything." 0

Yuming stopped tapping on the desk and sighed, feeling somewhat helpless. At this point, it seemed that the Warrior Exchange had already left a very bad impression on Lin Xin in this city. 0

As Yuming contemplated, he decided it would be best not to reveal his identity as part of the Warrior Exchange to Lin. After all, with this bottle of potion in hand, he wouldn't be staying here much longer. He would likely break through soon and successfully be recalled by his family. 0

"Are you sure he saw you in the end?" Yuming asked again, not quite ready to give up hope as he stared at Tiger. 0

"Yes, boss, I'm certain. That glance was very significant." 0

Discussing this matter made Tiger's expression even worse. He knew that if someone as important as his boss was concerned about it, he certainly couldn't afford to provoke that person. 0

"Alright, you go ahead. Once you handle this matter, return to your family and convey the situation here. Trust me; I will also be recalled soon." 0

Yuming nodded, cradling the Growth Catalyst in his hands, observing it carefully, no longer speaking, his eyes filled with an infatuated expression as if he were gazing at a rare gem. 0

The Tiger turned around, his face still bearing that somber look, his brows furrowed tightly. After taking a couple of steps forward, he couldn't help but turn back and quietly say to Yuming, "Bss, I want to say something." 0

Yuming seemed to have anticipated this, not even lifting his head as he responded, "You want to ask how I know Lin Re is not a threat?" 0

The Tiger fell silent, tacitly agreeing. Bss was always very clever; beneath his roguish exterior and cynical smile lay a heart that was clear and perceptive. Bss had probably already guessed what he was thinking. 0

"He's young yet possesses high-level items from the Seventh-Level Civilization, and he handles them with ease. Shouldn't you think more about this?" 0

After finishing this sentence, Yuming paused for a moment, his gaze flickering. "Moreover, that Fatty is not simple either. His father is someone we cannot afford to provoke in the Warrior Exchange... at least not someone we can confront in the entire Solar System... no, in the entire Primitive Star Domain." 0

The Tiger's expression froze, his body shuddering slightly. After a moment of hesitation, he cautiously asked, "Bss, are they backed by that group of Wanderers?" 0

"It's not just a simple Adventure Group; it could be half of the Adventurers' Guild." 0

When Yuming said this, he couldn't help but recall the Morning Black Tower and the nameplate beneath that shabby vest, belonging to the Vice Leader of that organization. It seemed they could easily wipe out the Warrior Exchange in this city. 0

During their conversation, they touched upon a significant organization that could stand on equal footing with the Warrior Exchange and hold considerable power—the Adventurers' Guild. 0

The Adventurers' Guild, also known as Wanderers' Gathering Place, is a spontaneous organization of adventurers in the galaxy. Its vast network spans across the Three Major Star Domains; wherever there are living beings, there are traces of adventurers. 0

After completing their initial growth path as Interstellar Warriors, many individuals choose to wander through the stars—whether treasure hunting, exploring unknown planets, or seeking knowledge—they all share a common trait: they roam freely and never stop moving. 0

These individuals are referred to as Wanderers; they call themselves adventurers and form an enormous group that comprises nearly seventy percent of all Interstellar Warriors. 0

One can imagine how powerful the Adventurers' Guild is. 0

This organization is different from the Warrior Exchange; it is highly disciplined and orthodox, controlled by all the high-level Seventh-Level Civilizations, functioning similarly to a governmental organization. 0

The Adventurers' Guild is more about its illustrious reputation. In reality, one Adventurers' Guild might be a luxurious castle in one location, while in another, it could just be a tavern or even just a few tables and benches. 0

The greatest strength of the Adventurers' Guild lies in its widespread presence and the transmission of information. Unlike the material transactions of the Warrior Exchange, most dealings within the Adventurers' Guild revolve around information exchange. 0

The half of the Adventurers' Guild that Yuming possesses is thought-provoking. 0

The Adventurers' Guild is a relatively "young" organization; even if traced back, its history spans only about a thousand years. 0

Yet, this nascent organization has captured the hearts of all adventurers, rapidly growing to its current grand scale. 0

The Adventurers' Guild does not have a true ruler. It initially formed spontaneously from three influential Adventure Groups and then expanded as it was managed over time. 0

The large-scale events of the Adventurers' Guild rely entirely on the fame of adventurers. Only top-tier adventurer groups can mobilize half of the adventurer community's influence. 0

As for which group it is, that is not easy to determine, as the current status of those Adventure Groups varies greatly; some have become large organizations while others have vanished without a trace, leaving one to wonder whether they were wiped out somewhere or have simply gone into hiding. 0

However, regardless of which group it is, as long as they put forth their name, it becomes a sensational event throughout the Adventurers' Guild. One can believe that if they issue a mission, even without any rewards, many would be willing to assist them, flocking to their call. 0

This is the allure of the Adventurers' Guild: people gather together based on reputation. No matter where you come from, how powerful you are, or what your intentions are, as long as you are an adventurer, you have the right to ignite this passionate flame. 0

According to Yuming's words, Uncle Ta is a member of the Adventurers' Guild; in other words, Uncle Ta is an adventurer and part of a well-known adventurer group! 0

The first major group, Star Seekers? Or perhaps the former dominant force, Iron Body? 0

Or is it the most mysterious assassin alliance, Shadows? 0

Tiger couldn't figure it out; Yuming's words were too vague, leaving him in constant speculation. After all, the Adventurers' Guild had too many powerful figures, a complete forbidden zone for Tiger. 0

"I understand now, bss, I didn't ask this question today." 0

Tiger forced a smile, trying to separate his furrowed brows. His entire face looked stiff and oddly contorted. He was frightened; he wanted nothing more than to distance himself from that matter involving Lin! 0

"Go on, find a way to get the Willow Leaf Turtle. You won't be in any trouble." 0

Yuming frowned slightly and waved his hand to dismiss Tiger. In truth, Yuming felt somewhat displeased. Tiger was good in many ways and served as a capable assistant, but this one trait—his excessive fear of death—ultimately kept him from being among Yuming's trusted inner circle. 0

Unconsciously, Yuming's gaze became distant. He was nearing thirty yet still lacked a reliable confidant to discuss matters with. This was extremely disadvantageous within his family. 0

"Perhaps Lin could be a great partner. With him around, even without a confidant or subordinates, many things could still be accomplished..." 0

Then, Yuming seemed to think of something else. His eyes narrowed, a smirk appeared at the corner of his mouth, and a glint of brilliance flashed in his gaze. 0

The afternoon sunlight slanted into Yuming's office, illuminating half of the room. His workspace happened to be positioned right on the boundary between light and darkness. 0

Yuming's figure was shrouded in shadow, making it difficult to discern his features—a presence imbued with dark mystery... 0
