Hearing the term "Brother," Lin furrowed his brows and paused for a moment.
On Earthen Slope Street, Lin had few friends, and most of the kids his age had already moved away. The only one who could call him "Brother" was Fatty.
This call of "Brother" caught Lin's attention, and he turned his head to look out the window.
Fatty beside him also seemed taken aback, blinking a couple of times, not quite understanding, and then followed Lin, stretching his neck to peek outside.
There, at the edge of the crowd, stood a striking Flying Car that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
Flying Cars come in many tiers, and since Lin wasn't a car enthusiast, he didn't know much about them. However, he recognized this particular vehicle at a glance; it was a Hummer brand Flying Car.
This brand dates back to before the Galactic Era, with various vehicle brands gradually being phased out. Only a few brands have persisted to this day.
Hummer is one of them, maintaining its classic style with robust curves and an imposing design. Its powerful performance makes it a favorite among warriors on Azure Planet.
A Hummer typically sells for several million, with higher-end models reaching tens of millions. This type of vehicle is clearly designed for warriors, boasting greater horsepower and more features, with prices soaring into the hundreds of millions... ordinary people could never afford it, but Advanced Interstellar Warriors could easily purchase such vehicles.
Just by looking at the car, Lin had mentally prepared himself; he began to understand the identity of the visitor.
In front of the car stood a young man dressed in a crisp white suit that contrasted sharply with the black Hummer, making him appear exceptionally striking.
The young man was extremely handsome, resembling a leading man from an idol drama.
However, he was not from Azure Planet; his hair was deep blue, and his skin glowed faintly blue in the sunlight, reflecting light as if coated in thick skincare oil.
His slightly long hair covered his ears, but it was evident that he had long ears with fin-like splits at the tips.
Seeing this extraordinarily handsome young man triggered a thought in Lin's mind.
The Undersea Alien, commonly known as a fish-like species, hails from the Solar System and is an incredibly powerful entity. Their civilization has reached the Fifth Level, making them the most formidable civilization in the Solar System, holding leadership over the Star System.
This was Lin's first impression of the unusual being.
Even as an ordinary resident appearing on Azure Planet, humans should show absolute respect towards them because they belong to a Fifth-Level Civilization, possessing overwhelming strength compared to humans, who have just entered the First-Level Civilization stage.
"Why is there an alien here? Its skin even reflects light, and it's all blue..."
Fatty murmured behind him, scratching his head, clearly puzzled by the young man's origins and speaking without any restraint.
Unfortunately, Uncle Ta overheard this and frowned slightly, admonishing, "Kid, don't be reckless; close your mouth!"
Morning Black Tower's expression turned serious as he kept his gaze fixed on the young man's neck. There were seven or eight fine slits on his neck that opened and closed like gills.
Uncle Ta squinted at the fish-like being. Initially, he wasn't very concerned. Fish-like beings were rare on Azure Planet but not alarming enough to warrant panic.
However, when Uncle Ta noticed the gill slits on the young man's neck and counted seven of them, his eyes narrowed in seriousness. This prompted him to reprimand Fatty.
Fatty, scolded into silence, quickly understood from Morning Black Tower's tone that something was amiss. He shut his mouth tightly and obediently stayed behind Lin.
At this moment, the young man had already started walking towards the window. Morning Black Tower's gaze flickered for a moment before he turned to the neighbors and said, "Brother Wang, have you all eaten enough? Come on, let’s put down our bowls and chopsticks; we have a guest here. Let’s not be a nuisance!"
"Yes! Yes! Such an important person driving such a nice car must know influential friends; he will definitely succeed in the future!"
"Don't talk too much; hurry up and return your bowls! Look at how much you've eaten!"
The neighbors were unaware of what was happening or the significance of the visitor. They laughed as usual, which only made Uncle Ta frown more deeply with growing anxiety.
At this time, the young man had reached the windowsill. As he approached, it became clear that he wore a warm smile on his face and sported a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. He appeared refined and patiently watched as the neighbors returned their bowls and chopsticks without any rush.
"You're having porridge, right? Please come in. Black, bring the person inside!"
Lin looked at the young man, understanding the situation. He knew it wouldn't be good to show a bad attitude towards this stranger, especially since the young man had addressed him as "brother," making it hard to refuse his enthusiasm.
"Got it, brother."
Fatty smacked his lips, glanced at the pot of Four-Flavor Blood Nourishing Porridge, sighed, and walked outside to bring the young man in through the front door.
"Oh, Fat Brother is here too! That's even better!"
The young man peeked into the room and saw Fatty's hefty figure. His smile grew brighter, and there was even a hint of excitement in his eyes, a fervor typical of a fan.
The mention of "Fat Brother" confirmed Lin's suspicion about the visitor's identity; he was a loyal fan. For some reason, he had found his way to Lin's home.
At that moment, Lin felt a bit dazed. He finally understood what it felt like to be a star… Unknowingly, life could be approached by enthusiastic strangers.
...
Fatty welcomed the young man into the house while Lin divided the last of the Rice Porridge in the pot into three portions and retrieved some cucumbers from a nearby ceramic jar as he walked toward the living room.
Outside by the window, Morning Black Tower had already sent away all the neighbors. He carried a large stack of bowls and chopsticks into the kitchen.
This was an unnecessary action; those bowls and chopsticks could have easily been passed through the window. Morning Black Tower did this solely to enter the house.
After placing down the bowls and chopsticks, Morning Black Tower had no intention of leaving. He clapped his hands and stood next to the young man.
Fatty and the young man sat on Lin's sofa while Lin took a seat. The table was set with Four-Flavor Blood Nourishing Porridge and a plate of cucumbers.
It should have been a pleasant breakfast time, but the atmosphere was somewhat strange, all due to this unexpected Undersea Alien.
Lin wore a stern expression; he truly couldn't smile in front of outsiders. The young man, however, seemed unfazed, as if he was already accustomed to Lin's demeanor.
At a critical moment, it was up to Fatty's mouth. He leaned in with a beaming face and asked the young man, "My name is Chen Youliang, but everyone likes to call me Fatty. You can also call me Heizi. This is Lin, brother."
After the introduction, Fatty sensed something was off. He paused for a moment, looking at the newcomer with interest, and continued, "I see you know quite a bit about brother. May I ask how you address yourself?"
"I am Yuming. I have great admiration for brother's culinary skills and Fat Brother's eloquence!"
The one who introduced himself as Yuming smiled genuinely; his words came from the heart, as he was indeed a loyal fan of the live streaming sessions.
"Yuming?" Lin furrowed his brow, trying to recall but having no impression. Fatty beside him felt the same way.
Yuming, perceptive as he was, noticed their confusion and quickly added, "Hehe, you might not recognize the name Yuming, but you should have some impression of my other name."
"In your live streaming sessions, I go by Night Rain Whisper."
After saying this, Yuming smiled proudly.
Lin's brow furrowed again; that name did sound somewhat familiar.
Upon hearing this, Fatty's eyes widened in surprise as he pointed at Yuming and exclaimed, "You are Night Rain Whisper?"
