I walked over with a smile and sat down across from her, casually glancing at the snacks on the table, all of which I loved to eat.
"Mom, you should try this. It's the new Matcha Cake made by the kitchen. It used to be your favorite," Lin Jiaojiao said as she personally cut a piece of cake and placed it on the plate in front of me.
"Thank you." I picked up a small fork, gently spearing a small piece of cake and placing it in my mouth to savor it.
