Mu Qiu's face flushed, and her previously soft gaze turned sharp as she glared at Lingfeng and Enchanting, questioning, "What are you doing here?"
"Well," Lingfeng chuckled awkwardly, glancing around, "actually, we've been here for a while!"
Wanshitong had already submerged into the water, and the surface appeared calm and undisturbed, showing no signs of anything unusual. However, Lingfeng was well aware that Wanshitong was in the water.
"You saw everything that just happened?" Mu Qiu revealed a sly smile, her white teeth contrasting sharply with her fierce expression.
"Um..." Lingfeng knew Mu Qiu's temperament; if he didn't lie, she wouldn't let him off easily. He quickly grabbed Enchanting's hand and said, "Actually, we just arrived and saw you here, so we didn't come out." He raised his right hand in a gesture of swearing and added, "But don't worry, sister, we were too busy talking about love to pay any attention to what you were doing!"
Enchanting blushed like a woman and hid behind Lingfeng, lowering her head.
Mu Qiu then smiled deviously and suddenly plunged her right hand into Red Water Lake as if fishing, pulling Wanshitong out. She said to Enchanting, "Enchanting, let me tell you, this is how you should treat men. You mustn't be soft-hearted; otherwise, they will definitely let you down!"
Enchanting quickly agreed and looked proudly at Lingfeng.
Wanshitong looked dejected and helplessly at Lingfeng as if seeking rescue.
Lingfeng thought to himself, "Brother, why did you have to owe a debt of affection? I can't help you!" Ignoring Wanshitong's frantic blinking eyes, he pulled Enchanting and swiftly ran down the mountain.
"Lingfeng, who is that old man? Why is he related to Mu Feng Peak Master?" Enchanting asked curiously along the way.
Lingfeng sighed lightly and replied mysteriously, "It's hard for heroes to pass the beauty's barrier; he is Wanshitong, the number one diviner in the Cultivation Realm!"
"Wanshitong!" Enchanting exclaimed in surprise. After a pause, she added, "But how could the famous Wanshitong be related to Mu Feng Peak Master?"
Lingfeng shook his head and casually plucked a leaf from the roadside to chew on. He murmured, "I don't know either, but I guess it's something that happened a long time ago. We should probably not concern ourselves with the affairs of the older generation; what's most important now is to handle our own matters!"
What Lingfeng referred to was naturally his relationship with Enchanting.

According to their seniority, Qingzhi was naturally Enchanting's Shixu, while Lingfeng could only call him Shixiong at most. "Shixiong?" The man scrutinized Lingfeng for a moment before murmuring, "I've never seen you before. I've seen Shijie Enchanting though. However, according to the rules of the Demon Suppression Sect, lower-ranking disciples are not allowed to enter the Celestial Fruit Orchard casually!"
