What method can truly control the demon clan? Qin Yao was puzzled.
She rubbed her forehead, trying to calm herself down. It seemed that finding Ye Wujiu's weakness was not an easy task.
Suddenly, she thought of someone.
Elder Yun!
Elder Yun was knowledgeable and experienced; perhaps he knew something.
With that thought, Qin Yao no longer hesitated. She stood up and walked out of the room, heading towards Elder Yun's residence.

"Elder Yun, are you asleep?" Qin Yao arrived deep in the bamboo forest where Elder Yun lived.
"Come in," Elder Yun's deep voice called out, and a solitary lamp lit the courtyard, as if waiting for her.
Elder Yun's voice came from within the house, carrying a hint of weariness and sounding particularly tranquil.
Qin Yao pushed the door open and entered.
She gently knocked on the door, "Master, I have something to discuss."
Elder Yun was sitting cross-legged on a mat, holding an ancient book in his hands, his expression calm.
His hair was grizzled, and his face was thin, but his eyes still shone with vitality.
"Elder Yun, I apologize for disturbing your meditation," Qin Yao said respectfully, slightly bowing.
Elder Yun set down the book, looking even older.
"It's quite late; why have you come?" Elder Yun asked, glancing at Qin Yao with a hint of concern in his eyes.
Qin Yao sat down across from Elder Yun, her face showing a trace of anxiety.
Taking a deep breath, she laid bare her doubts and worries. She approached Elder Yun and respectfully bowed, "Master, I have encountered some difficulties and would like to seek your guidance."
Elder Yun put down the book and gestured for Qin Yao to sit. His tone was gentle, "Go ahead, what problems are you facing?" Before him lay a half-finished chess game. The dim candlelight illuminated the weathered features of the old man, making them appear even more profound.
"I want to know if there is a way to control the demon race," Qin Yao began after taking a deep breath, her gaze fixed on the chessboard.
After hesitating for a moment, she decided to tell Elder Yun about Ye Wujiu. She knew this matter was significant, but she trusted Elder Yun; only he could help her.
Elder Yun paused with the chess piece in his hand and slowly raised his head. A glimmer of clarity flashed in his murky eyes. "Why do you suddenly ask about this?"
"I... have encountered some troubles recently and would like to consult you."
"But it doesn't hurt to say." Elder Yun slightly nodded, signaling Qin Yao to continue.
Qin Yao took a deep breath and revealed how she had found Ye Wujiu, as well as his true identity.
After listening to Qin Yao's account, Elder Yun fell silent, his expression revealing a hint of inquiry.
"He... he doesn't seem as simple and kind as he appears," Qin Yao hesitated, secretly observing Elder Yun's expression. Seeing that he showed no signs of displeasure, she continued, "I suspect he... he might be deliberately hiding something."
Elder Yun fell into deep thought, his fingers lightly tapping on the table, producing a faint sound that was particularly clear in the quiet room.
Qin Yao sat quietly, not daring to disturb Elder Yun's contemplation. She knew that Elder Yun was currently searching for a solution to her problem.
After a long while, Elder Yun pondered for a moment before slowly speaking, "Yao'er, are you sure that Cub is Demon Realm Young Master Ye Wujiu?"
"Absolutely!" Qin Yao replied firmly.
Seeing Qin Yao's hesitant demeanor, Elder Yun had already guessed part of the situation in his heart.
Qin Yao bit her lip, hesitating. "Isn't there any other way?" she asked anxiously.
Upon hearing this, Elder Yun's expression grew more serious. He contemplated for a long time before speaking again, "Yao'er, you may not know this, but five hundred years ago, the Demon Realm invaded the Heavenly Profound Continent. That battle was earth-shattering; countless cultivators fought for the power to control the demon race."
He understood Qin Yao's concerns and was aware of Ye Wujiu's terrifying nature.
"Controlling the demon race is no easy task." After a long pause, Elder Yun finally spoke again, his tone carrying a hint of helplessness.
"Is there really no other way?" Qin Yao asked urgently, maintaining eye contact with him.
After a long pause, Elder Yun sighed deeply. "Well, this is a long story..."
He slowly stood up and walked to the window, gazing at the swaying shadows of the bamboo outside. Elder Yun lifted his head, his gaze deep as he looked at Qin Yao.
"Unless you can find the legendary artifact—the Soul Locking Bell." Elder Yun looked at Qin Yao, a complex expression flashing in his eyes.
"The Soul Locking Bell?" Qin Yao's heart stirred; she seemed to have heard that name somewhere before.
"Elder Yun, what should I do?" Qin Yao asked anxiously.
Elder Yun paused for a moment before continuing, "I once saw in an ancient text that the last time the Soul Locking Bell appeared was in the Misty Forest in the western part of the Heavenly Profound Continent."
"The Misty Forest?" Qin Yao frowned slightly; she had heard of that place, which was shrouded in mist all year round due to its ominous aura. To control the demon race, one must find that artifact known as the Soul Locking Bell.
"The Soul Locking Bell is an ancient artifact with divine power to suppress evil and purify demonic energy. Legend has it that only the Soul Locking Bell can completely control the demon race and make them submit."
"There is indeed a way, but..." Elder Yun paused suddenly, seeming a bit hesitant.
"What is the way?" Qin Yao pressed on.
