As Taiwan Soldiers struggled with the Jungle Python, Xin Yi was preparing to shoot and take them all down when Yanming Shop Elder suddenly appeared beside him, urging him to leave quickly. Xin Yi understood that Yanming Shop Elder must have his reasons for this, so he didn’t ask further. After regrouping with the other three, they ventured deeper into the jungle. The few Taiwan Soldiers were frantically entangled with the Jungle Python and completely unaware of Xin Yi and his companions' movements. The group quickly disappeared into the dense jungle.
The gunfire continued for about twenty minutes, and after a few loud explosions, it gradually subsided. However, by this time, Xin Yi and the others had not gone far. Hearing the gunfire stop, Topology gasped for breath and asked, "Elder, who do you think won this time? The soldiers or that... thing?" Later, when a Border Guard poked its head with a hot gun barrel, it woke up because cold-blooded animals are very sensitive to high temperatures."
"Hahaha... This is what we call 'Heaven's punishment can be forgiven; self-inflicted punishment cannot live!'" laughed Xu Maogong. "If that Taiwan Soldier had just walked past without disturbing it, he wouldn't have ended up in its belly."
"But how can you be so sure that thing is doomed this time?" Topology continued to question. "Maybe it got stunned again?"
At this moment, Roxy had also recovered and couldn’t help but laugh at Topology's words: "Those Taiwan Soldiers can't be more foolish than you, right? Hahaha... They’ve already been fooled by that giant python once; do you think they would fall for it a second time? Would you fall for it again?"

By dusk, they arrived at a small stream. After observing the terrain, Yanming Shop Elder decided to camp there for the night. After setting down his backpack, he called for Topology to follow him nearby to gather camping supplies while Xin Yi and Roxy prepared firewood for the night. Xin Yi asked Roxy to walk with him upstream along the stream to collect some dry branches. Walking along the stream provided a fixed reference point so they wouldn’t get lost. Roxy hopped ahead; everything in the jungle seemed new and exciting to her. Of course, sometimes novelty turned into fear—like their encounters with the Tricolor Viper and the Jungle Python. But it seemed that Roxy had already forgotten that fear; all that remained was curiosity.
Suddenly, as she walked ahead, Roxy exclaimed in delight. When Xin Yi approached her, he saw that the stream had made a sudden bend upstream where the flowing water created a large pool due to backflow. The water was crystal clear, revealing smooth pebbles at the bottom of the pool as sediment was carried downstream by the current. The red clouds in the sky reflected beautifully on the water's surface. However beautiful it was, their task now was to gather firewood, so Xin Yi said, "Let’s go get some firewood."
But Roxy stood still without moving. When Xin Yi called her again, she finally murmured, "Xin Yi, I think... ever since last night when we crossed rivers and trekked through sweat-soaked paths, I feel so dirty now... it's unbearable..."
"Are you really planning to bathe here?" Xin Yi realized and said, "Aren't you afraid there might be water snakes in this stream?"
"You... you know I'm afraid of snakes and you're trying to scare me," Roxy said angrily. Otherwise, he might really end up doing something inappropriate.
After jumping into the water, Xin Yi realized that the dark shadow was not a water snake at all, but rather a fish. In fact, there were several fish in the pool, likely having just swum over from somewhere else. Roxy had mistaken them for a water snake due to her overactive imagination. Once she understood the situation, Xin Yi walked out of the pool, while Roxy remained crouched there, too scared to move. She asked, "Why aren't you catching them?"
Xin Yi helplessly smiled and said, "Could you please take a better look? They're just a few fish."
"Ah?" Roxy then took a closer look and realized that it was indeed just a few fish. She felt embarrassed for mistaking them for snakes and for exposing herself to Xin Yi unnecessarily. But who could she blame? It was her own fault for not clarifying things first. So, Roxy snapped at Xin Yi, "Then why aren't you getting up?! I need to put on my clothes!"
