Desperately resisting, she flailed her arms in front of her, not knowing what she had grabbed in the chaos. It felt soft and fitting, so she tightened her grip and yanked hard. "Aah!" Josen let out a sharp cry; it turned out Shen Shanshan had seized his large ear. The force of her pull was unbearable for him, tearing the flesh where his ear connected to his face and causing blood to flow down his cheek.
Josen was utterly enraged. He swung his fists down onto Shen Shanshan's head with a flurry of blows. Although he wasn't as strong as a professional boxer, he was still much stronger than an average person. After several punches, blood poured from Shen Shanshan's nose and mouth; her head tilted and she lost consciousness. Josen touched the ear that had nearly been torn off by Shen Shanshan and cursed, "Damn you! How dare you fight back! Just wait until I deal with you!" As he spoke, he violently ripped at Shen Shanshan's already tattered top. Her entire upper garment came off, leaving only her bra to cover her key areas while exposing her graceful upper body completely. Josen swallowed hard and reached for the last piece of clothing covering Shen Shanshan...
At that critical moment, a strange noise came from the living room door outside, as if something was being pulled away from the wall. Such noise at this moment was utterly distracting. Furious, he beat up his girlfriend and forced her to reveal who her lover was.
The woman was beaten into a pulp and fearing for her life, she confessed everything about that night’s events and even pulled up chat records from QQ to show him. The bald guy initially wanted to find the lover and give him another beating but was overjoyed when he saw the chat records; based on what Fourth said, the so-called foolish woman they had captured resembled the sister-in-law they were currently searching for throughout the city! Moreover, the address was near where she had gone missing earlier that day—this confirmed for him that they had found the sister-in-law they had been searching for all day.
Thus, the bald guy quickly called his boss Du Hong. Du Hong reported this information to Xin Yi. Xin Yi along with Shu Rui and Big Bull were driving around town when they received the news and immediately turned their car towards the address provided by Du Hong. Shu Rui acted cautiously; fearing that it might not be Shen Shanshan after all, she called Lu Hanmeng for police assistance. Lu Hanmeng was just a traffic officer without authority over criminal investigations but sought help from Lu Jianming. Upon hearing it involved Xin Yi, Lu Jianming promptly dispatched Wang Wei’s Criminal Police Team to rush to the scene.
Xin Yi and others arrived at the scene first and happened to see Josen's car parked there; they understood most of what was happening now—Josen still harbored intentions against Shen Shanshan. With his car parked here confirming he was present meant that Shen Shanshan’s innocence could be violated at any moment. At this point, Xin Yi felt anxious and disregarded how hard he should hit; before the car even stopped fully, he flung open the door and charged towards Josen’s two bodyguards stationed downstairs like a tiger descending a mountain. The two bodyguards saw an SUV speeding towards them with bright headlights; before they could react or draw their guns fast enough—one shadowy figure leaped out with ghostly speed delivering a fierce spinning kick that sent both bodyguards flying several meters away without giving them time to struggle or resist—they were knocked unconscious instantly with at least severe concussions.
At this moment, Wang Wei led over a dozen criminal police officers who had just arrived in time to witness Xin Yi’s powerful strike. A young officer gaped in awe as stars filled his eyes while looking up at Xin Yi standing like a deity in the light. After knocking out two bodyguards, Xin Yi noticed that Wang Wei’s team had arrived but didn’t have time for further conversation; they merely exchanged nods before Xin Yi dashed upstairs with Big Bull and Shu Rui closely following behind while Wang Wei left two officers to control the unconscious guards downstairs before rushing up himself.
Upon reaching room 304’s door, Xin Yi found both the security door and wooden door tightly shut. Just as he prepared to kick it down, Big Bull rushed forward saying loudly, "Brother Xin! Let me handle this! This won't stop us!" As he spoke, Big Bull grabbed hold of the iron bars on the security door and yanked back with all his might; instantly bending them like soft noodles. With another powerful pull on his third attempt, he tore down the entire security door from its frame—bricks and dust flew everywhere as Big Bull tossed aside the deformed door onto the stairs above before turning around using his massive hands to brace against both sides of the wooden door frame; with one mighty push, he sent both the wooden door along with its frame crashing into the room—creating an opening filled with flying dust.
Inside the room, several people heard noises when Big Bull tore off the security door and realized they were under attack but did not know who it was yet; thus several bodyguards drew their 52-style pistols provided by Josen and waited inside for their assailants to break in so they could shoot directly at them. However, what happened next clearly exceeded their expectations—after a loud crash resonated through the air as both doors flew inward together with their frames; those standing right at the entrance were knocked over by debris while amidst chaos they accidentally pulled triggers—bullets ricocheted harmlessly into the ceiling above them while those not hit by debris were momentarily stunned; in that split second of distraction—the people outside charged in as Wang Wei led his officers aiming their guns at everyone shouting: “Police! Drop your weapons!”
Although Josen's bodyguards are mostly retired special forces, their skills surpass those of the Criminal Police Team. However, when the police identity is revealed, most of them immediately lose their courage. In front of the righteous police, they have no will to resist and can only drop their weapons and surrender.
After Xin Yi entered the room, he rushed into the inner chamber and kicked open the door. The scene before him almost made him vomit blood. Josen was bare-chested, lying on top of Shen Shanshan, who was almost naked except for her underwear. Josen's hands were reaching towards Shen Shanshan's chest, only a few centimeters away. Xin Yi's first thought was that he absolutely could not let Josen's filthy hands touch Shanshan's body! He raised his right hand, and two gleaming throwing knives flew through the air with a sharp whistle towards Josen's hands. Josen had no time to react; he felt a chill in his wrists as the sharp knives pierced through them completely. In pain, Josen trembled and rolled off the bed, struggling to crawl towards his clothes where his KF-59-AMP submachine gun was hidden.
Ignoring Josen, Xin Yi quickly closed the door and rushed to Shen Shanshan's bedside. Seeing that she had already fainted, he hurriedly took off his shirt and draped it over her. He then pulled out some tissues from his pocket and carefully wiped the blood off her face while gently calling her name. At Xin Yi's soft calls, Shen Shanshan's eyelashes fluttered slightly, and then she groaned softly as her eyelids lifted. She looked at Xin Yi, who was holding her, staring at him for a long time before sighing lightly and saying, "Sigh, Xin Yi, you saved me again. It seems I am destined to owe you for life..."
Seeing Shen Shanshan awake and looking at him strangely, Xin Yi wanted to comfort her but was stunned by her words. After a moment of shock, he exclaimed in delight, "Shanshan! You're awake!
