"Speak, what do you want?" Shu Rui said coldly.
"President Shu is indeed a smart person. Dealing with smart people is straightforward. Just say it directly. I want to acquire the two properties you photographed yesterday. Please transfer them to me, haha," Gao Jinlong shamelessly stated.
Shu Rui knew very well that Gao Jinlong was here for those two properties, but how could she easily transfer those properties with infinite appreciation potential? However, given the current situation, outright refusal would clearly bring trouble. The only way was to buy time, hoping that someone would discover that she and Wang Fang were trapped here.
Shu Rui pretended to ponder for a moment and replied, "Transferring them to you is not impossible, but I cannot decide on the price. It must be submitted to the board for approval."
"Hahaha..." Gao Jinlong laughed heartily, his belly jiggling with the motion. After a while, he said, "President Shu, are you trying to play tricks with me? Do you think I don't know about your Junxing Group? Who doesn't know that Junxing Group belongs solely to your father?" After saying this, Gao Jinlong's expression darkened as he ominously continued, "You don't need to decide on the price; I've already set it for you—10 billion for Property No. 3 and 15 billion for Property No. 5! I brought the transfer agreement with me. So, what do you say, President Shu? Let's sign it."
"Oh really? Let me take a look," Shu Rui calmly extended her hand.
This action confused Gao Jinlong; he never expected Shu Rui to react this way upon hearing the price. In Gao Jinlong's mind, Shu Rui would either explode in anger or be too scared to speak. He didn't expect her to remain so composed. This woman was not simple!
Of course, Gao Jinlong wasn't worried about any tricks from Shu Rui; he had her in his grasp now. What could a woman do?
So, Gao Jinlong confidently stepped forward and handed the transfer agreement to Shu Rui. Just as Shu Rui took the agreement, Wang Fang suddenly kicked Gao Jinlong in the groin. Gao Jinlong never anticipated that two seemingly weak women would attack him in front of so many bodyguards. By the time his brain registered what was happening, his hefty body couldn't react in time. He felt a sharp pain in his groin and instinctively bent down. At that moment, Shu Rui seized his collar and pulled him forward. His heavy body lost balance and he fell to the ground with a thud, sending dust flying everywhere.
The bodyguards were caught off guard; logically speaking, two women who had been kidnapped should be trembling like lambs waiting for slaughter. Who would have thought they would suddenly strike? By the time several bodyguards reacted and rushed over, Wang Fang had already pinned Gao Jinlong's head down and pressed a small metal tool against his carotid artery, shouting fiercely, "One step closer and I'll stab it in!"
Gao Jinlong lying on the ground was truly unfortunate; once a formidable figure, he was now controlled by two weak women in front of so many bodyguards—what a huge loss of face! At this moment, Gao Jinlong was covered in dust from head to toe and looked utterly disheveled. Even worse was that something cold was pressed against his neck; although he didn't know what it was, he preferred to believe it could pierce through his soft flesh. Thus, he had no choice but to shout, "Don't come any closer!"
In reality, what was pressed against Gao Jinlong's neck was just an eyebrow clip—something Shu Rui usually used for grooming her eyebrows. She had secretly slipped it into her pocket while calling for help from inside the car; it wasn't that she didn't want something more lethal—the problem was there was nothing else metal in her bag. After being locked in this room, Shu Rui and Wang Fang realized that escaping safely was impossible; they could only take risks for a glimmer of hope, which is why they staged this act together.
"Put your hands on your head and slowly get up!" Our lovely Wang Fang, probably influenced by too many cop movies, shouted this at Gao Jinlong on the ground. However, this commanding line only put them in a passive position.
Gao Jinlong slowly reached for his head, but just as he was about to touch it, he suddenly grabbed Wang Fang's right hand that was holding the eyebrow clip and forcefully threw it away. Gao Jinlong might be a bit overweight, but he was strong. With that powerful throw, Wang Fang stumbled and fell to the ground, and the eyebrow clip flew far away. At that moment, a few bodyguards quickly reacted; two of them restrained Shu Rui and Wang Fang, while the other two hurriedly helped Gao Jinlong to his feet.
With dirt on his face, Gao Jinlong spat angrily and slapped each of the bodyguards across the face, cursing, "You useless bastards! It's better to keep a dog than to keep you!" Seeing the bodyguards getting hit, Red Hair felt pleased. After all, they usually acted so arrogant; they deserved it! He hurriedly brought over a dusty old chair, wiped it with his sleeve, and flatteringly offered it to Gao Jinlong from behind, saying, "Here, Dragon Lord, please have a seat."
Gao Jinlong's hefty body was tired after all this commotion. He looked at the chair behind him and sat down heavily. "Crack! Ouch!" It was unclear whether it was because of Gao Jinlong's weight or if the chair was already worn out, but he fell right back onto the ground. Red Hair was stunned; this was a disaster! His attempt to flatter had backfired. He rushed over to help Gao Jinlong up, repeatedly apologizing, "I'm sorry! Dragon Lord, I'm sorry..."
"I'll fuck your mother!" An enraged Gao Jinlong kicked at Red Hair. Poor Brother Mao could only roll away and crash into the corner, unable to get up for a long time.
After venting his anger, Gao Jinlong approached Shu Rui and said viciously, "You two little bitches are asking for trouble! I want to see how tough you really are! Let's see if you're tougher than my brothers... Hahaha..."
He then turned to the bodyguards and ordered, "You guys make sure these two little bitches are comfortable; take turns serving them!" After saying that, he turned and left the room. It wasn't that Gao Jinlong didn't want to do it himself; rather, Wang Fang's kick had caused him considerable pain. He figured he wouldn't be able to do anything for several days without proper rest. As he left, he muttered under his breath, "Damn those bastards!"
The beasts inside were overjoyed. They usually dealt with wilted flowers; now these two fresh beauties were enough to make anyone drool just by looking at them. If they got their hands on them... one could only imagine how delightful it would be! Unable to contain themselves any longer, they reached out their claws and began tearing at the girls' clothes. Shu Rui and Wang Fang fought desperately against them, but how could two weak women resist several ravenous wolves? The sound of tearing clothes filled the air as their outer garments were ripped apart...
Outside the room, Gao Jinlong pulled out a cigarette and put it in his mouth. Just as he reached for his lighter to ignite it, he suddenly felt a gust of wind rush past him. The flame went out instantly. Before he could react further, darkness enveloped him as a fist landed squarely on his fat face. Gao Jinlong didn't even have time to grunt before collapsing onto the ground.
Inside the room, as Shu Rui and Lijie saw their underwear about to be torn off with hungry wolves preparing for a feast, a loud shout came from the entrance: "Xiao Yu! I'm here! ... I'm going to kill you bastards!" Following that shout was a man who looked like a laborer charging in like an enraged leopard. With just a few punches, he smashed one of the bodyguards holding Wang Fang's face into a pulp and pulled Wang Fang behind him while glaring at the others. He murmured softly, "Xiao Yu, I'm sorry; I won't let anyone bully you anymore."
In response to this sudden situation, those inside were slightly startled at first. But when they realized it was just a laborer coming in alone, they exchanged disdainful glances and laughed among themselves as they released Shu Rui and surrounded him. Even if one of their own went down, there were still nine left who could easily handle him. However, they clearly underestimated this man's abilities; before they could close in on him, he took the initiative and lunged into their midst with flying fists that quickly took down three more...
"Don't move! Let's see if your fists are faster than my bullets!" One of them realized things were going south; this guy was too fierce. He hurriedly pulled out his gun and aimed it at him.
"Go ahead and shoot! If I blink, I won't be called Qin Dali!" The man showed no fear, pointing to his left chest and saying, "If you have the guts, aim for this!"
At that moment, the front door suddenly crashed open with a loud bang, and a black SUV charged in like a roaring bull. Before the vehicle even came to a stop, a tall figure leaped out, swiftly approaching. With a flick of his right hand, the gun held by the bodyguard fell to the ground with a thud, a shiny knife embedded in his wrist, still trembling. The people inside hadn't even grasped what had happened when it was all over; several beasts were completely stunned by this display of skill. Was this really a human? It was almost ghostly!
"Xin Yi! You finally made it!" Shu Rui called out, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Yes, President Shu, you've been wronged. I... wasn't fast enough," Xin Yi said as he walked over to Shu Rui without regard for anyone else, taking off his outer coat and draping it over Shu Rui's shoulders. He then turned to Qin Dali and said, "We meet again; this time I owe you my thanks."
"N-no need... thank you," Qin Dali stammered, not expecting to encounter Xin Yi again, let alone be saved by him.
"If you don't mind, could you lend your coat to Assistant Wang for a moment?" Xin Yi said, nodding towards Qin Dali's back.
"Assistant Wang? ... Oh, sure." Qin Dali quickly took off his coat and handed it to Wang Fang behind him. He then stared intently at Wang Fang. Feeling embarrassed under Qin Dali's gaze, Wang Fang thought he was staring because she was exposed and quickly turned around to put on Qin Dali's coat. Only then did Qin Dali let out a sigh and turn back.
Suddenly, a heart-wrenching scream pierced through the air from behind Xin Yi. A guy had taken advantage of the distraction to pull out a gun and aimed it at Xin Yi's head. However, Xin Yi seemed to have eyes in the back of his head; he tilted his head just in time to dodge the gun barrel. Grabbing the hand that held the gun with his left hand, he swept his right hand back and broke the man's arm with a sickening crunch, exposing white bone through torn flesh.
"Don't move if you don't want to die," Xin Yi said coldly, his words sharp as ice knives that sent shivers down the spines of those present.
