The general manager of the Three Tiger Group investment company was hired through formal channels. The general manager, Wang Hao, thirty-five years old, is a renowned financial PhD from Lusang Nation's Hajian University, with considerable research in the field of financial investment. Xin Yi selected him from numerous candidates based solely on intuition. When it comes to financial investment, Xin Yi truly knows nothing; he is the type of person who doesn't even know how much money he has in his account, let alone how to invest. When Wang Hao came for the interview, Xin Yi asked him two questions. The first question was, "If the Three Tiger Group investment company were yours, what would you do with it?" Wang Hao replied with just one phrase: "Wealthy enough to dominate the region." The second question was, "But now the Three Tiger Group investment company is mine; what would you do with it?" Wang Hao answered again with four words: "Wealthy enough to rival nations." 0

In the days that followed, Xin Yi discussed this topic with Wang Hao and asked why he had responded that way. Wang Hao said, "I can't say much else, but in the field of financial investment, I can make capital rise and fall at my command." Xin Yi then asked, "Why can you only be wealthy enough to dominate the region while I can be wealthy enough to rival nations?" Wang Hao replied, "Because I don't dare to rival nations; you do." 0

Wang Hao also said, "Only you would believe what I say; if it were someone else, they would surely think I'm a madman speaking nonsense." Xin Yi remarked, "It's normal for geniuses to be considered madmen." 0

Results proved that Xin Yi's judgment was correct; Wang Hao was not exaggerating. After taking office as the general manager of the investment company, Xin Yi handed over all responsibilities to him and leisurely became a hands-off manager. Xin Yi understood the principle of trusting those he employed and not employing those he doubted. In fact, Wang Hao was indeed a workaholic; he only hired two people for the entire investment company: an assistant and a secretary. The assistant handled work-related trivialities while the secretary took care of personal matters, which were also resolved within the company. Since taking office, Wang Hao hardly ever returned home and spent day and night in front of his computer, lying down on the sofa whenever he couldn't hold up any longer. 0

Xin Yi had invested ten billion to purchase the headquarters building of the Three Tiger Group and maintain normal operations for the group. After that, only one billion remained for the investment company. Wang Hao worked tirelessly in the capital market with that one billion. Xin Yi did not understand the specifics; he had only visited Wang Hao's office once but found that Wang Hao was too busy to pay him any attention. Wang Hao was occupied in front of seven or eight computers, so Xin Yi left after a short while, fearing he would disturb Wang Hao's work. 0

However, this time Xin Yi insisted on having a serious discussion with Wang Hao because the unfinished properties from Century Spring were about to be auctioned off, and Xin Yi wanted to hear Wang Hao's opinion. 0

In the office, Wang Hao was as busy as ever. The secretary stood beside him continuously saying, "Mr. Wang, please eat something; you haven't eaten for over ten hours." But Wang Hao ignored her completely. Even when Xin Yi walked in through the door, he didn't lift his head and continued focusing on his work. 0

"Mr. Xin, you're here," said the secretary, a sweet-looking girl who was responsible for taking care of Wang Hao's daily needs. Since there were only three people in total at the company, she didn't dress in formal attire like other secretaries but wore casual T-shirts and jeans like a college student. She respected Xin Yi because she knew he was actually the boss of the company. 0

"Has Mr. Wang not eaten yet?" Xin Yi asked quietly. 0

"Yes, it's been over ten hours since last night; he hasn't eaten anything," said the secretary with red-rimmed eyes. "Mr. Xin, please persuade him; he can't keep going like this without food." 0

Xin Yi observed everything and thought: It seems this girl truly cares for Wang Hao's well-being; she probably wants to continue looking after him for life. Having such a thoughtful girl take care of this workaholic is certainly beneficial for him. 0

He smiled slightly and said, "Alright, I'll talk to him later. What's your name?" 0

"My name is Li Fei," she replied softly. 0

"Great! Li Fei, I’ll leave Mr. Wang in your hands from now on; if you don't take good care of him, I'll have to ask you about it." 0

"Mr. Xin, look at him; he doesn't listen to me at all! What can I do?" Li Fei said with a hint of grievance. 0

"Well, that's a matter of your work ability. You need to make him listen to you obediently," Xin Yi said with a smile. 0

"How can I do that? How could he possibly listen to me? He's the general manager!" Li Fei blinked her beautiful eyes in surprise. 0

"Ha ha, he's the general manager, that's true, but he's also a man. No matter how capable a man is, he still has to listen to someone. You don't need me to teach you that, do you?" Xin Yi said with a mischievous grin. 0

"Huh? A man? Listening? Oh... Mr. Xin, I'm not talking to you anymore; you're just teasing me," Li Fei blushed as she understood the implication of Xin Yi's words and turned to leave the office, accidentally bumping into a potted plant at the door in her fluster. 0

Ha ha, it seems I've hit on the girl's secret thoughts, Xin Yi thought to himself. 0

Wang Hao completely ignored their conversation and continued with his work, leaving Xin Yi no choice but to sit on the nearby sofa and watch him busy himself. 0

Half an hour passed, and Xin Yi was hesitating whether to interrupt Wang Hao's work since what he came for today was quite important when he suddenly heard Wang Hao shout, "YES! I've finally got it! Hahaha... Fei'er! Come here, I have good news for you!" 0

Wang Hao jumped up from his chair and suddenly noticed Xin Yi sitting on the sofa beside him, causing his face to flush. "Mr. Xin, you're here, ha ha." 0

At that moment, Li Fei also rushed over from the next room and asked anxiously, "What's going on, General Manager?" 0

"Oh, nothing much. Mr. Xin is here... I've already discussed it with him." 0

"Oh, then hurry up and eat your food; otherwise, it will get cold." Concern was evident in Li Fei's tone as she poured two cups of water, handing one to Xin Yi and the other to Wang Hao. 0

Well then, Xin Yi thought: I've been here for quite a while and no one poured me a glass of water; they only thought of me after pouring for Wang Hao. So it seems I'm benefiting from Wang Hao's presence? 0

Wang Hao took the cup and drank it all in one go before handing it back to Li Fei. Wiping his mouth, he said to Xin Yi, "Mr. Xin, did you come today for something specific?" 0

"Yes, I want to take over the unfinished properties from Century Spring. What do you think about the feasibility of this matter?" 0

“Mr. Xin wants to get into real estate?” 0

“Yes, I have this idea. Do you think this plan is feasible?” 0

“Of course it is. The profits in the real estate market are still quite substantial. The problem is that there are many hidden issues in the domestic real estate market right now; it's not just about having money to jump in casually.” Wang Hao's expression was very serious. 0

“Then does that mean we can't enter this industry?” Although Xin Yi understood that there were many unsavory dealings in the current domestic real estate sector, he didn't know the specifics, which is why he wanted to hear Wang Hao's opinion; that was also the purpose of his visit today. 0

“It's not that we can't get involved. I don't know if the former Three Tiger Hall had any reliable connections in this area. If they did, we could leverage them.” Wang Hao was well aware of the past of the Three Tiger Group, so it wasn't surprising for him to say such things. 0

“I asked Huang Mang about this. The former Three Tiger Hall mainly operated in the entertainment industry and didn't have any connections we could use in this regard,” Xin Yi shook his head and said. 0

“Well, that makes things a bit difficult... but there might still be a way we can try.” 0

“What way?” 0

“We can find a real estate company with strength and connections and operate by investing as shareholders.” 0

“Well, if they already have strength and connections, why would they let us invest as shareholders?” 0

“That’s something Mr. Xin might not know. Real estate companies actually don’t have much liquid capital; what they play with is essentially government money—loans taken out for construction using land as collateral, then they take out more loans against completed properties... it’s just a cycle, tightly interlinked. If any part of this chain has even a slight issue, they face the risk of a funding crisis, which can be fatal. Wasn’t Century Spring once thriving but collapsed overnight because of this?” 0

“Hmm, if that's the case, I can think of some other ways.” Xin Yi thought for a moment and said that given the previous connections of Three Tiger Hall in society, there should be quite a few friends in real estate; it shouldn't be a problem for Huang Mang to make some introductions. 0

“Oh, by the way, you seemed so happy earlier and mentioned good news. Can you share it with me?” Since there was no immediate outcome regarding entering real estate, Xin Yi shifted the topic. 0

“Oh right! I finally secured it!” As soon as Wang Hao said this, his face lit up with excitement; a man in his thirties looked like a child who had just won a game: “Mr. Xin, guess how much our one hundred million has grown now?” 0

"This is really hard to guess. Did it appreciate by ten million?" Xin Yi truly did not understand and could only ask tentatively. 0

Wang Hao shook his head, looking displeased, and said, "Am I really worth so little in Mr. Xin's eyes?" 0

"Of course not. To be honest, I'm an outsider in this field and I'm just guessing randomly. Could it be that it appreciated by fifty million?" 0

"Forget it, forget it. You wouldn't be able to guess even if I asked you. It's pointless. I'll just tell you: it's this number." This madman really was a madman; he spoke as if he didn't regard Xin Yi as the boss at all. However, Xin Yi didn't mind; only someone who was unconcerned with trivialities could be a true talent. Wang Hao extended all ten fingers. 0

"How much?" Xin Yi still couldn't guess. 0

"One billion! Our one hundred million has appreciated to one billion! Haha, didn't see that coming, did you? Hahaha..." Wang Hao laughed proudly. 0

"Ah?! One billion?! How did you do that?!" Although Xin Yi was not sensitive to money and wasn't very clear on what the concept of one billion entailed, seeing Wang Hao so happy made him pretend to be extremely surprised. 0

"Hehe, this is called operation. If we had a bit more capital, I could completely ensure that some countries fall into economic collapse!" Wang Hao said confidently. 0

"That's not good, Wang Hao. We should keep a low profile. Causing other countries' economies to collapse isn't something to be happy about; moderation is key." Xin Yi didn't want to harm innocent investors for his own benefit, although there were exceptions in special circumstances. However, Wang Hao's ability to operate in the capital market was truly admirable; he was simply a madman in the capital market! With someone like him around, it seemed that becoming immensely wealthy was not impossible. 0

After leaving Wang Hao's place, Xin Yi went directly to Huang Mang's office on the Eighteenth Floor. He needed to find out if there were any friends from the Three Tiger Hall who could introduce him regarding real estate matters; while Wang Hao operated in the capital market, he couldn't neglect his own real business. 0
