The surging waves finally calmed down. Xin Yi embraced Lijie, gazing at her flushed face and weary eyes, feeling an overwhelming affection in his heart. "Are you okay?" 0

"Mm." Lijie turned to face Xin Yi and, after a moment of silence, asked, "Do you think I'm too easygoing?" 0

"How could I?" Xin Yi replied sincerely. "We are already inseparable." 0

"Lijie, I know what you're thinking, but I don't care. I won't force you to marry me; as long as I can be with you, I'm satisfied." Although Lijie said this, there was an unmistakable hint of sorrow in her tone. 0

"Don't worry. Once my parents' revenge is fulfilled, you will be my wife!" Xin Yi's tone was firm and unquestionable. 0

"Mm." After that, they shared a long passionate kiss, accompanied by Lijie's happy tears. It was a while before their lips reluctantly parted. 0

"Xin Yi, I've decided. Starting tomorrow, I'll teach you about hidden weapons and poison." Lijie gasped for breath to replenish the oxygen consumed during their kiss. 0

"Hidden weapons are fine. Last time your mother's three flying daggers almost cost me my life. Grandpa said your skills with hidden weapons are even better than your mother's. I'd really like to see that. As for poison, let's skip it. With you by my side in the future, I won't be afraid of others using poison against me," Xin Yi replied after some thought. Although he wasn't particularly averse to using poison, he felt it lacked honor. It might be acceptable for a woman to use it, but for a man to rely on such tactics seemed rather despicable. 0

"Okay, I'll follow your lead," Lijie nodded obediently. 0

This sleep was the most comfortable one Xin Yi had experienced in ten years since he first undertook a mission at sixteen. It wasn't just because he had a beautiful companion; more importantly, the endless loneliness and lack of support that had once surrounded him were now far behind. His previously empty heart began to fill up, and this sense of stability felt truly wonderful. 0

When Xin Yi woke up, the sun was shining brightly outside. He turned his head and noticed that Lijie was no longer beside him; the aroma of millet porridge wafted from the kitchen. 0

Sitting up in bed, Xin Yi saw that the clothes scattered around from last night were neatly arranged at the bedside. He hurriedly got dressed. Hearing the commotion, Lijie poked her head out from the kitchen and asked, "Why don't you sleep a little longer?" She was still wearing Xin Yi's shirt, her cheeks flushed with color and looking vibrant—more mature than usual—which made Xin Yi's heart flutter again. Remembering that Lijie's body had not yet fully recovered, he forced himself to suppress any inappropriate thoughts and smiled as he said, "I slept very well already. By the way, what are you cooking? It smells so good." 0

"What do you expect? There's nothing at home; I can only make some porridge to get by. You should wash up; it'll be ready soon," Lijie replied before returning to the kitchen. 0

After washing up and returning to the room, Xin Yi found that Lijie had already served the porridge and was stirring it with a spoon to cool it down. 0

"Alright, it's time to eat." Xin Yi had just sat down when Lijie handed over the porridge. 0

"Mm, you should eat too." 0

After finishing the porridge, Lijie changed into dry clothes, and the two set off towards the small forest on the back hill of the Farm. Along the way, the farmers greeted them while casting curious glances, wondering: this little Xin hadn't brought a girl home in ten years; why was he suddenly so bold? First one girl yesterday, and now another today, both stunning beauties. It seemed that both girls had a special relationship with him. Some of the younger farmers glanced at their own Yellow-Faced Woman beside them, sighing inwardly: Oh heavens! Just let me be like little Xin for once, even if just for two days! 0

Due to last night's excitement, Lijie's body was still a bit uncomfortable, so she only taught Xin Yi some basic techniques for using hidden weapons. Xin Yi already had Kung Fu skills, so he picked it up easily. By the end of half a day, he could control two flying knives to hit different targets simultaneously. Lijie was very pleased and kept praising Xin Yi. 0

Around noon, they returned to the small building. Since there was hardly anything left at home, Xin Yi suggested going out for a meal. As they exited the Farm, Xin Yi thought about whether he should buy a car. He hadn't felt the need before when he was alone and rarely went out. Now seeing Lijie walking such a long distance with him made him reluctant, especially considering her current condition; it was indeed quite difficult for her. 0

Finally reaching a spot where they could catch a ride, once in the car and after stating their destination, Xin Yi held Lijie's hand and gently asked, "Are you okay?" 0

Lijie's face flushed as she softly replied, "Mm." 0

The driver glanced at them through the rearview mirror with envy and joked, "Just married, huh? Look how affectionate you are." 0

Xin Yi smiled noncommittally while Lijie's face turned even redder as she lowered her head and traced circles on Xin Yi's hand. 0

"By the way, Master, where is a good place to buy a car in Longchuan?" Xin Yi remembered his plan to buy a car. 0

"Oh, that depends on what kind of car you want. If you're looking for a luxury car, go to Haoden Car City in the city center. For regular family sedans, try Kanghui Auto City. If you're interested in used cars, head to the Used Car Market in the Western Suburbs..." The driver was quite chatty and continued to ramble on about car options. 0

"What kind of car do you like?" Xin Yi turned back to ask Lijie. 0

"I'm fine with anything; just get what you like," Lijie replied happily. The fact that Xin Yi sought her opinion on buying a car showed that he considered her part of his family. She contentedly leaned against Xin Yi's shoulder. 0

When it comes to cars, Xin Yi certainly likes high-performance sports cars that are easy to handle. However, he does not prefer to be too ostentatious. In Longchuan, driving such a luxury sports car would definitely raise suspicions about his identity. Although the Xin Family is a powerful family in Longchuan, they have always maintained a low profile, so not many people are aware of them. He also does not want to bring any trouble to the Xin Family. 0

After a simple lunch, the two of them headed hand in hand to Kanghui Auto City. Xin Yi decided to buy a rugged-looking yet relatively high-performing SUV. However, after browsing almost the entire auto city, he still had not found the ideal vehicle. 0

Just as they were about to give up on this place, a black SUV caught their eye. The car's ancient appearance was elegant without being flashy, with smooth lines that exuded strength. The details were handled quite delicately without showing any signs of deliberate craftsmanship; the entire design seemed natural and was clearly the work of a master. Xin Yi's eyes lit up at once, and when he looked at Lijie, she was also turning back with a satisfied smile. It seemed they both understood cars well enough to judge quality at a glance. They exchanged smiles and walked hand in hand toward the SUV they had taken a liking to. 0

The saleswoman was quite perceptive; seeing their expressions, she realized they were very satisfied with the car. She had spent quite some time introducing various models to them, but none had caught their interest until now. This made her doubt whether they were actually there to buy a car. Looking at their attire, which was neither flashy nor expensive, she felt somewhat disheartened and thought they might just be window shopping. But now seeing their expressions, she felt excited; if they could purchase this vehicle, her commission would be several times higher than selling an ordinary car. So she quickly began enthusiastically introducing it. 0

"Sir and madam, you truly have great taste! This car is crafted by the renowned Buchiguo master Bilang. Mr. Bilang is known as the Father of the Off-Road Vehicle. The SUVs he designs are not only sleek and ancient in appearance but also have perfect configurations for both body and engine. The acceleration time and torque of the engine are unmatched among similar off-road vehicles and can rival top sports cars. However, it has advantages over top sports cars due to its high chassis and strong tire grip, making it more suitable for mountainous terrains..." As she spoke, the saleswoman handed Xin Yi a document detailing the engine parameters. Upon looking at it, Xin Yi found it completely met his requirements and passed it to Lijie for her review before smilingly asking, "What do you think?" 0

"Good!" Lijie replied readily. 0

"Alright then, it's settled! Miss, let's proceed with the paperwork," Xin Yi said as he turned back to the saleswoman. 0

"Sir..." The saleswoman was not swept away by sudden happiness: "Aren't you going to ask about the price of this car?" Although she could tell this couple knew their cars well, the price of this vehicle was not something an average person could afford, so she felt compelled to remind them cautiously. 0

"Oh right! I got so excited that I forgot about that detail. So how much is this car?" Xin Yi said as he tapped his head as if waking from a dream. 0

"The price of this car... is about eight times that of an ordinary SUV..." The saleswoman did not immediately state the price; she wanted to give them some psychological buffer time to accept its exorbitant cost. 0

Just as the saleswoman was about to reveal the price of the vehicle, a commotion of footsteps approached. A group of around eleven or twelve people walked briskly toward them. Leading them was a thin man in his thirties wearing a checkered shirt with three buttons undone, deliberately flaunting his bony chest adorned with an exaggerated dragon tattoo. His walk was exceptionally arrogant; his skinny arms swung wide as if trying to ensure everyone knew he was someone important. However, given his lanky frame, this posture only elicited laughter—like a monkey trying to walk in human clothes. 0

Behind him followed a group of burly men dressed uniformly in black suits with black ties and short haircuts—clearly bodyguards for gangsters. Yet wearing suits and ties in such weather seemed overly burdensome for these hefty men. To let others know they were gangsters came at too high a cost; surely these men must be suffering from heat rash under those outfits. 0

Next to the thin man was a chubby fellow who kept nodding and bowing in deference—a clear indication he wasn't part of this group but likely a manager from the auto city or something similar. 0

"Dammit, Kang the Fatty, you have such a good car in your shop and you didn't even bother to report it to me. Are you planning to stop selling cars or what?" The thin man glared at the exquisite off-road vehicle without turning his head, cursing at the fatty. 0

"Brother Kun, you misunderstood. This car just arrived from abroad yesterday, and I haven't had the chance to report it to you yet. You came over personally," Kang the Fatty replied, wiping sweat off his forehead in a hurry. 0

"If I hadn't come today to pick a gift for Brother Tiger, I wouldn't have known you had such good stuff here. So, what are you planning to do?" Brother Kun shot a sideways glance at Kang the Fatty and said boldly. 0

"Well... for what Brother Kun wants, how could I dare to make a profit? I'll give it to you at cost. The selling price of this car is two million six hundred thousand; I'll give you a sixty percent discount, so that would be..." 0

"Slap." Before Kang the Fatty could finish his sentence, a loud slap landed on his chubby face, instantly blooming a bright red mark. 0

"You bastard! I'm picking a gift for Brother Tiger and you still dare to ask for money! Are you tired of living?!" Brother Kun cursed angrily. 0

Kang the Fatty covered half of his face, his complexion alternating between red and white. Although he knew he couldn't afford to offend the other party, he was still someone of status. Usually, people treated him with respect, but this Brother Kun was so arrogant in his own car dealership, slapping him in front of everyone—he couldn't help but feel humiliated. 0

"Are you still not convinced? Are you mute? Do you believe I can smash your dealership today?!" 0

"I wouldn't dare! Since Brother Kun is picking a gift for Brother Tiger, how could I ask for money? If Brother Kun likes it, just take it." Kang the Fatty, having been in business for many years, understood that a wise man doesn't suffer immediate losses. He quickly put on a smiling face and said, "You hurry up and handle the paperwork for Brother Kun. If it delays Brother Kun's business, I'll hold you responsible." He pointed at the saleswoman who was introducing cars to Xin Yi and the others. 0

"Wait," a cold voice interrupted at an inopportune moment. "I've already reserved this car." 0
