The enormous Toad monster moved effortlessly along the vertical Ceiling, like a gecko, at an incredible speed. After several shots missed their target, Lin Hai became more cautious, his gaze shifting as he sought the opportunity to strike.
Li Nan observed the Toad, raising his Compound Bow. However, he faced the same problem as Lin Hai; that creature's speed was too fast to keep up with.
Yet, the Toad seemed to be cautious as well, continuously evading Lin Hai's gunfire and refraining from launching any further attacks.
As it approached from a distance, the Toad was now looming above Lin Hai. At that moment, Li Nan threw his Wolf Eye Flashlight and shouted, "You distract it to give Fatty some time!"
The Wolf Eye Flashlight spun in the air, its light flickering before landing in Lin Hai's hands. Under the moving light, the massive body of the Toad drew closer.
To Lin Nan's left, Fatty hunched over and stood up from the ground, having dropped his gun aside.
Bitter Melon grunted softly and forced himself to lift his head, saying to Fatty, "Use my gun, quickly..."
In the entire room, the only source of light was the Wolf Eye Flashlight, so for now, Fatty had no idea what condition Bitter Melon was in!
Fatty took the gun from Bitter Melon's hands without hesitation and aimed toward the illuminated area where Lin Hai was.
Li Nan also readied his bow to ensure Lin Hai's safety!
Just as the Wolf Eye Flashlight landed in Lin Hai's hands, the movements of the Toad clinging to the Ceiling seemed to slow down suddenly.
Lin Hai raised the Wolf Eye Flashlight upward and found that the Toad had vanished.

Lin Hai immediately shouted, "That guy has already left this room!"
The beam of the Wolf Eye Flashlight rested on the two door panels at the entrance, which had obvious Green Slime marks. Could it be that the Toad had already gone outside?
Li Nan rushed to Lin Hai's position and took over the Wolf Eye Flashlight.
Indeed, there was a heavy trace from the Ceiling that had landed on the floor, and then from not far behind Lin Hai, that trace wobbled out through the door. It seemed that the Toad had indeed escaped!
Li Nan frowned and murmured, "Why did it run away? It was clearly in a favorable position just now; why would it flee?"

After the loud noise, two door panels flew in their direction.

Li Nan exclaimed in surprise, "It seems that guy hasn't left!"
Lin Hai grinned and said, "It seems that guy wants to play the same trick as before, but now we are prepared, so he won't succeed!"
Just as the door slammed down, another large object was thrown over, but this time it missed its target slightly. Li Nan and the others managed to dodge it by shifting their bodies.

Fatty steadied himself, tossed aside his submachine gun, and along with Lin Hai's firepower, they unleashed a torrent of bullets—over a hundred rounds fired in an instant, all striking that writhing Long Tongue.
Li Nan frowned as he saw the spray of blood from the Long Tongue had already stained the surrounding white walls red!
