When Wang Bing was sent to the hospital, she looked utterly disheveled. A chunk of hair had been torn from her head, and her scalp was bleeding. Her face was swollen like a pig's head, and her body was covered in wounds of various sizes. The doctor said she had broken three ribs.

I looked at her and asked, "Aren't you going to find your child's biological father?"
Wang Bing chuckled self-deprecatingly and said, "What do you want with that scumbag?"

I nodded and said, "Then take care of your injuries. I will explain the situation to the police and help you get a lighter sentence."
Wang Bing looked at me in confusion and asked, "Are you here to plead for your brother?"

Jingjing was quietly held by her grandmother when she called out from a distance, "Mom!"
I smiled and ran towards Jingjing while Li Jiang chased up from behind.
The two of us circled around the child, making Jingjing laugh joyfully.
Under the sunlight, the three of us laughed happily.
When we returned home, Li Jiang had already prepared dinner.
On the dining table were the free-range chicken and several other home-cooked dishes sent by his mother-in-law.
Looking at this warm scene before her, Lu Yinyin felt a surge of warmth in her heart.
During dinner, they talked about the future. Li Jiang suggested,
"We could change our environment, away from these disputes,
to give our child a better space to grow." Li Jiang said softly.
Lu Yinyin thought for a moment and nodded,
"Maybe you're right; changing places would be good for both of us."
