Looking at the two beams of light shooting straight into the sky, Aotian and Xiao Ya's expressions turned extremely grim.
Originally, the two planned to quietly amass wealth, taking the treasures from the ruins first before anything else. However, this situation had exceeded their expectations.
Neither of them anticipated that the scroll would be linked to the ruins within the mountain, causing the two beams of light to soar into the sky. The commotion created by these light pillars was indeed significant; if one were to say that the warriors in Mystic Spirit Town had not noticed, Aotian would never believe it.
"We have no choice now; we can only take it one step at a time," Xiao Ya sighed lightly.
"Hehe, so this is where the Earth Spirit Realm Warrior's ruins are. It really makes it easy for us to find..."
Suddenly, a gloomy middle-aged voice echoed. Immediately, a middle-aged man appeared like a ghost in front of Xiao Ya, accompanied by a Middle-Aged Beauty.
Upon seeing the newcomers, Xiao Ya's pupils slightly constricted, and she coldly said, "Rogue? Shangguan Jin?"

Rogue understood that while their apparent strength seemed to give them the upper hand, there was still a significant gap between them and their opponent.
Although he and Xiao Ya were evenly matched, Shangguan Jin was certainly no match for the young man. Despite the young man's outward cultivation being only at the Innate Second Layer, treating him as just an Innate Second Layer warrior would likely lead to a disastrous outcome.
Thus, even though Rogue was filled with anger at that moment, he had no choice but to suppress it.
"Kill me? You think you’re worthy?!"
In an instant, Aotian's gaze turned sharp, his Golden Energy fluctuating unpredictably as he emanated an aura that was utterly unassailable!
Beside him, Xiao Ya also stepped forward, a powerful presence accompanied by heavy pressure surged toward Shangguan Jin.

He knew that if he and Aotian fought with all their might, they might indeed deliver an indelible lesson to Rogue and Shangguan Jin. However, both he and Aotian would surely sustain injuries, which would not be beneficial for their upcoming competition for the Treasure in the ruins.
Thinking this way, Xiao Ya looked at Aotian, seemingly asking for the latter's opinion.
Unconsciously, this middle-aged man, older and stronger than Aotian, appeared to be looking to Aotian for guidance.
After staring at Rogue and Shangguan Jin for a moment, Aotian suddenly smiled and said:
"Uncle Xiaoya and Captain Rogue come from the same place; how can we turn against each other in such a situation?"
Upon hearing Aotian's words, everyone couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"Aotian is indeed wise..." Rogue glanced deeply at Aotian, his tone carrying a hint of seriousness.
Aotian smiled slightly but did not respond.
Shangguan Jin looked at Aotian. Although she wished she could immediately tear him apart, she understood that now was not the time for her to show her strength; otherwise, her husband Rogue would likely be the first to object.
At that moment, the two towering beams of light suddenly expanded, transforming into a colorful wave known as the Light Barrier, enveloping the tall mountain peak in layers.
Aotian and the others found their line of sight blocked by the Light Barrier, and the mountain peak beyond it had vanished from view.
Aotian glanced lightly at Rogue and Shangguan Jin, then he and Xiao Ya flew toward the location of the Light Barrier.
Rogue's expression changed slightly as he and Shangguan Jin took another route toward the Light Barrier.
Along the way, Aotian quietly asked, "Uncle Xiao Ya, why are we completely unaware of Rogue and Shangguan Jin hiding their presence and following us?"
Xiao Ya was taken aback; he understood that Aotian was a Soul Practitioner, whose perception should be extremely sharp, capable of detecting even the slightest disturbance. He himself was a martial artist at Innate Nine Levels, yet Rogue and Shangguan Jin were able to follow them without being noticed by either Aotian or himself, which naturally puzzled Aotian.
After pondering for a moment, Xiao Ya replied, "Rogue once acquired two Concealment Pills at an auction. This type of pill can suppress all aura and fluctuations after consumption. It seems that Rogue used those two Concealment Pills to pursue this relic."
Upon hearing Xiao Ya's explanation, Aotian understood why Rogue and Shangguan Jin could evade his detection.
After about the time it takes to burn a stick of incense, Aotian and Xiao Ya arrived before the massive Light Barrier.
Up close, Aotian finally felt the grandeur and vastness of the Light Barrier; the energy fluctuations contained within it were astonishingly powerful.
Xiao Ya observed the Light Barrier for a while before suddenly striking it with a powerful palm. The force of the strike cut through the air, and the sound of Dragon's Roar echoed continuously.
"Boom!"
A dull thud resonated, and then Aotian was shocked to discover that the Light Barrier merely rippled slightly before returning to normal, while Xiao Ya was instead pushed back several steps by the force rebounding from the Light Barrier.
Xiao Ya took a deep breath, as if trying to expel all the astonishment from his heart.

Aotian nodded slightly. Although he had not personally tested the strength of the Light Barrier, he could tell from Xiao Ya's attack that it was extraordinary.
At some point, Rogue and Shangguan Jin also appeared nearby. After personally testing the defensive power of the Light Barrier, they shook their heads helplessly.
"Just wait! That beam of light definitely alerted many martial artists. They will all gather here soon!" Aotian said confidently.
After hearing this, Xiao Ya could only nod in resignation. He understood that they still needed to rely on the strength of other martial artists; otherwise, they would likely be unable to even tear apart this Light Barrier, let alone obtain the Treasure within...
