“Wailing of Ghosts and Howling of Wolves! Phantom Fire Crossbow.” Lan Ruo had not yet transformed into a butterfly; she merely summoned a crossbow, three silver arrows shimmering with a cold light above it. “Phantom fire, burn! Burn their anger and fear!”
The three arrows shot towards Cold Heart, Purple Cedar, and Hibiscus.
…
Nothing particularly special happened; only Purple Cedar shed her butterfly form and reverted to human shape, filled with anger upon seeing Yohsang, anger stemming from Yohsang being harmed!
“Haha, die!” Cold Heart smiled cutely, but the sword in her hand showed no mercy.
“With the soul of light, soothe your wounds!” A graceful female voice echoed as a white jade-like butterfly danced in the air, radiating colorful light, revealing the ethereal figure of an extraordinarily beautiful woman.
“Aunt!” Qingyi Priestess and Lan Ruo bowed down in respect.
Murong Fusu, with the Fusang Branch in hand, danced gracefully, transforming into a celestial butterfly spirit.
“Oh no, oh no.” Cold Heart transformed into a blue shadow and vanished, taking Hibiscus and Purple Cedar with her.
“Aunt, why not keep them here?”
“I don’t want to come.” The beautiful butterfly shattered into fragments; this was merely an illusion created by the Lord of the Seven Hells. The real Murong Fusu was spending nine-tenths of her day lost in memories and longing.
“Ah…” Purple Eye gasped lightly; she longed for her body! Not in a twisted way—she desired possession.
"Aunt..." Lan Ruo called out again, but received no response.
"Ah..." At the peak of Bimu Mountain, at the center of the Azure Heart Pool, there was a small island about ten feet wide. In the center of the island stood a Fusang Tree, beneath which sat a woman. Her eyebrows were lightly drawn, dressed in green lotus leaves and adorned with hibiscus flowers, exuding a faint sense of melancholy. "Time flows endlessly; looking back, it has been a hundred years."
"Yohsang!!" Seeing Purple Cedar with tear-streaked eyes walking towards the Fleeceflower Tree, Hibiscus lifted her foot but then paused, feeling anxious in that moment. She couldn't help but glance around; it was pitch black, and she couldn't see her hand in front of her face, so she had to give up. Why was it so warm above her head? Hibiscus reached up and touched something warm and soft. What was this? Looking at the fluffy white mass in her hand, which was palm-sized and soundly asleep with its eyes closed, what could it be?
Seeing this adorable Kiddo sleeping so soundly, Hibiscus didn't want to disturb it, so she placed it on her shoulder and sat down on the ground. Finally finding Fo-Ti brought joy to Hibiscus's heart.
Purple Cedar held the little black bird and spoke softly. Hibiscus examined the Fleeceflower Tree before her; cutting down a tree shouldn't be too difficult for him, right? But did this Fo-Ti require branches, leaves, or roots? Was that shimmering treasure beside it a Money Tree? Why did it look so much like the Fleeceflower Tree? It only had a trunk and hair-like leaves without any branches. Should she pull out the small one or cut down the larger one? Hibiscus frowned as silver light flickered from her hand, and she swung at the Fleeceflower Tree. With a crack, a small branch was severed. This palm-sized piece would suffice; Hibiscus thought to herself as she reached out to touch the glowing little tree.
"Whoosh!" A tiny sound echoed as the creature that had been sleeping on Hibiscus's head waved its little fists to protect the small tree, looking incredibly cute.
"Is this your tree?" Hibiscus asked.
"Whoosh!" The Kiddo nodded enthusiastically.
"I apologize for any offense," Hibiscus said.
The Kiddo beamed with joy, turned around, pulled up the spirited little tree, tied it with Azure Silk around its neck. The little tree truly seemed to belong to Kiddo, radiating a faint glow around it.
Kiddo leaped into the air and once again lay on top of Hibiscus's head to sleep. Hibiscus placed it on her shoulder and smiled helplessly.
"Hey! Handsome man, where are you going next?"
"Go to the place I came from."
"Then goodbye, I will stay here with Yohsang."
Goodbye, mysterious Western Abyss. Although I cannot see your true form, the purpose of this journey has been fulfilled.
Gusu, Murong, may you be well.
"Kiddo, I am leaving now, wake up."
"Chirp chirp!"
"Goodbye, interesting things, goodbye, Western Abyss."
"Chirp chirp!" Kiddo climbed onto Hibiscus again.
"Are you going to come with me?"
"Chirp chirp!" The fluffy Kiddo nodded and squinted its eyes to find a comfortable spot to snore.
Looking at the familiar white halo, Hibiscus shook his head; this place is too mysterious, everything is unknown.
"Any man who enters Seven Hells will be killed without mercy!" A graceful female voice echoed softly, surrounded by a milky white glow. The oblivious Hibiscus fell straight into that halo. Finally, Lord of the Seven Hells Murong Fusu spent nine-tenths of the day, and in that one-tenth of the time, he took a moment to kill this man who had mistakenly entered Seven Hells.
"Men are a source of trouble, and I can't forget them!" Murong Fusu sighed and vanished.
Ten seconds of meeting you, ten days of loving you, ten months of marrying and being with you, ten years of soul companionship, and after three hundred decades, I still cannot forget you!
Three thousand one hundred seventeen years ago, on a sunny summer day, she met a man. After exchanging glances, they fell in love. Although the story was not beautiful, her feelings were anything but calm. For ten whole days, they were inseparable, deeply attached. She had never encountered such a man; he was full of strength and not at all weak. He was passionate yet did not understand tenderness. It was astonishing that such a man existed in the world, making her unable to let go!
Such a distant memory, yet she remembers it clearly—every moment, every gaze—because for over three thousand years, she thought about it every day.
"What? High Priest, can you say that again..." Purple Eye's face turned pale. How could this happen? How could he be dead? Before she could obtain the Yoh Master’s body and rule together in the Seven Hells, he had died.
"How could the noble Yoh Master take action himself?"
"The Yoh Master has always acted according to his own desires."
Purple Eye nodded. Is that so? Acting according to one's desires; one day she would also be able to kill at will. Deciding others' fates and imprisoning their lives—when that time comes, what would the Female Supremacy Empire matter? She would become a deity in Heavenly Reunion. Even deities are nothing special; she would become the god of gods.
"Purple Eye, do you have any other thoughts?"
"No, I am willing to dedicate my life to the Yoh Master..." Let me die once and see if I can seize that body...
(Today my boyfriend is sick. This morning while I was typing, he kept saying he was in pain, very painful and uncomfortable. I thought it was nothing and continued with my work. Later, seeing him sweating from the pain made me ask what was wrong; he got angry and ignored me. I didn't expect it to be so serious—he needs surgery and hospitalization. Now I'm accompanying him in the hospital; the surgery might be tomorrow or the day after. He is sleeping now while I type beside him and watch him get IV fluids. I feel a bit upset; sometimes when you've been together for almost five years, you slowly start to overlook him. When a man cries from pain, what can a woman do besides cry along? From now on, I will take good care of him. YL, I'm sorry; from now on, you will still be the one to support us while I remain beautiful and take care of your meals.)
