"Ah, don't eat it, or you'll be poisoned. The Ancient Ancestor was poisoned back in the day." A kind heart can be a deadly poison; once ingested, there's no turning back. 0

"That Bad Dragon is just too strong; otherwise, we would have taken a bite out of it." 0

"Don't underestimate the old dragon just because its teeth are gone. It's very protective, so we should avoid provoking that Bad Dragon." 0

"That Bad Dragon changes between male and female; it's just too despicable." 0

"Hide, someone is coming." 0

In the blink of an eye, the bustling crowd vanished without a trace. Only an inconspicuous stone wall continued to move slowly, as if it were chewing on something. 0

"It was so noisy here just now; why is there not a single shadow in sight?" Jinse looked around in confusion, having clearly heard voices. 0

Fengyin nodded slightly. "Maybe they dispersed." 0

The two sat on a stone bench, unaware that the nearby rock wall was still subtly writhing, as if swallowing saliva. 0

Gulp. The white-haired figure had such personality, even more so than a Witch. 0

A cold snort echoed as a figure clad in black stepped onto the rock. A wisp of green smoke drifted up from the stone and blew away with the wind. Both Fengyin and Jinse saw the newcomer—a young man of extraordinary beauty. It seemed inappropriate to describe a man as beautiful, but this one could only be described that way. He was beautiful yet not effeminate, stunning yet not demonic. His enchanting peach blossom eyes captivated souls, and a faint smile played at the corners of his mouth, with stars and moons reflected in his gaze. The black robe he wore did not make him appear cold; instead, it added to his allure. 0

"Yin Yin." A surprised voice came from behind. The black-clad man frowned involuntarily as Fengyin turned around to see Seven Nights smiling at her. Looking at Seven Nights, could that black-clad man behind her be the legendary Demon Path Master Ying Wuxie? He looked very young. 0

"Seven Nights," Fengyin smiled brightly. "I've come to find you." 0

"Who is next to you? Yin Yin, turn her around," Seven Nights quickly reminded. "Oh no, I was just looking at you, not noticing anything else. Any woman who sees Ying Wuxie will fall in love with him." 0

"What?" Fengyin quickly came to her senses and looked at Jinse, only to see Jinse's cheeks flushed, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at Ying Wuxie. 0

"Jinse?" Even Fengyin didn't realize she was calling her. 0

Ying Wuxie glanced lightly at Jinse, frowned, and then flew over to Seven Nights. Jinse's gaze followed him. 0

"What is going on?" Fengyin looked at Seven Nights, puzzled. "Why am I unaffected?" She had also scrutinized that Demon Path Master earlier; why was she fine? 0

"Really?" Seven Nights exclaimed in surprise. Ying Wuxie frowned even more, casting a deep look at Fengyin, snorting coldly without saying a word. 0

"This is his magic or his charm; many things cannot be explained," Seven Nights comforted, casting a sympathetic glance at Jinse. 0

Ying Wuxie shot a faint glare at Seven Nights, his expression darkening immediately. 0

"What about Jinse?" Fengyin asked with concern. 0

"It's hard to say; it depends on whether she can find herself again. Such a curse probably can't be helped by anyone." 0

"Falling in love with someone you shouldn't is a kind of suffering," Ying Wuxie said lightly. 0

"But she could possibly be your daughter," Fengyin whispered, though she wasn't very convinced that Ying Wuxie could be Jinse's father. Still, sighing seemed appropriate. 0

"Daughter?" The corners of Ying Wuxie's mouth twitched, and his gaze turned shadowy, as if there were no stars or moonlight left. 0

"Her name is Jinse, and her mother is Song Yun. We came here after receiving the news," Fengyin murmured, feeling somewhat uncertain now. 0

"Oh." Ying Wuxie nodded, glancing at Jinse with a hint of sadness in his eyes. "She is my daughter." 0

Could this man really be a father? 0

Jinse stared blankly, her ears ringing, but for some reason, she felt a flutter in her heart upon seeing this man, and he was actually her father. 0

"What a sin, ruining your own daughter," Seven Nights said, shaking his head half-jokingly. 0

Ying Wuxie snorted coldly and turned to leave. 0

"Yin Yin, don't mind him; that's just his temperament." 0

"What about Jinse?" 0

"I'm fine," Jinse said, blinking her dazed eyes, feeling lost as she watched Ying Wuxie walk away. 0

"Jinse, let me check your pulse. How should we treat this?" How could Jinse have ended up with such a troublesome father? 0

Jinse obediently placed her hand on the stone table, propping her chin up with the other hand, clearly lost in thoughts of the departing Ying Wuxie. 0

No wonder Jinse's mother never mentioned Jinse's father; how could one even talk about such a father? 0

Looking at Fengyin's serious expression and conflicted demeanor. 0

Jinse couldn't help but ask, "Yin Yin, what's wrong with me?" 0

Fengyin wore a troubled expression on her face. How could she tell her that when she fell in love with her father, she was already pregnant with Dragon Blood, Xuan Li's child? 0

Seven Nights also looked puzzled, "Is it treatable?" 0

Fengyin's eyes seemed to lose focus, "Huh? I..." She shook her head, unsure of how to start. 0

If anything, she should tell Jinse quietly; the world is unpredictable. 0

Finally, she understood the saying that fate plays tricks on people. 0

"Yin Yin, what exactly is wrong with me?" Jinse propped her chin on her hand and asked casually, her thoughts already drifting far away. 0

You are confused, you are confused, Jinse. 0

During dinner, Jinse just stared at Ying Wuxie, not touching her chopsticks at all. Fengyin kept her head down and ate rice, seeing nothing. 0

Ying Wuxie was completely indifferent to such a gaze. However, since this seemed to be his daughter and apparently he had only this one daughter, he frowned and picked up a piece of meat for Jinse before pulling Seven Nights to drink. 0

"It should be fine, it should be fine," Fengyin told herself in her heart. After all, isn't Jinse's mother doing quite well now? 0

Quite well, but alone. 0

As the night deepened and the lamps were lit, Fengyin pulled Jinse to sit on the couch. "Jinse, I think I need to tell you something." 0

"What is it?" 0

Jinse was lost in thought, no longer concerned about anything. 0

"You are pregnant." 0

"Uh?!" Jinse paused, as if a long-buried memory had surfaced, leaving her puzzled and confused. 0

"Your Majesty?" Jinse whispered, "Is there something wrong with my memory? My father and the way I looked when I was young are different from now. I am not the same as in my memories." Now she recalled Xuan Li only as a name; why did the name in her memory feel so profound? 0

"Jinse, you said you would be my bride; you promised me." 0

"Jinse, what about the child?" Fengyin called out to Jinse, pulling her back from her wandering thoughts. 0

Jinse felt an inexplicable sense of nostalgia. 0

Zhuangzi dreamt of butterflies, while Wang Di entrusted his heart to Azalea. 0

"Child?" Jinse lowered her head in contemplation. 0
