"Your Majesty, please hurry, I feel so heavy," Jinse said softly, his weight pressing down on her.
Xuan Li chuckled lightly, "Your face is so red; I want to take a bite."
Really? Really? Jinse wondered in her heart, her face turning even redder.
Xuan Dynasty smiled silently, his misty eyes gazing at Jinse. Her heart raced wildly; it was as if they were blooming like peach blossoms.
"Jinse, you once said you wanted to be my Wife," Xuan Dynasty said, the smile fading from his lips as his gaze turned distant, as if lost in memories.
Jinse lowered her head. "My mother wouldn't allow it."
"Jinse," Xuan Dynasty called gently.
They had already reached the door of Xuan Dynasty's room. She opened the door and helped him inside. Hearing him call her name made her heart race even more; was he drunk or not? Did he still recognize her?
"Jinse," he sighed. Xuan Dynasty had closed his drunken eyes and waved his hand, signaling her to leave. She helped him take off his boots and covered him with a blanket. Jinse stood there in a daze; he told her to go, but what about her doll?
Watching Xuan Dynasty's eyes close, she quietly sat on the edge of the bed. "Xuan Dynasty, do you not mind me calling you like this?" As she looked at him, she felt suffocated; Jinse pressed her hand against her chest as her heart raced.
Xuan Dynasty lay quietly before her, and she actually wanted to flee in panic. And she really did escape; Jinse stepped outside to breathe in the fresh air, secretly annoyed with herself for being so weak.
She walked towards her room with a face full of resentment.
However, she heard the voice of Xuan Dynasty softly calling, "Water, I want water." It seemed to resonate only in her heart, as no servant appeared.
Huh? Where did the servants of Mu Family go? Why was there no one here to attend to him? Jinse had no choice but to push the door open again and enter Xuan Dynasty's room, pouring him a glass of water at the table and then helping him drink.
"Xuan Dynasty, I'm leaving. Tomorrow I will go to the Jianghu with Fengyin." Jinse said with a sobbing tone, "Xuan Dynasty, you must treat your consorts well. Don't let them end up like my Great-Aunt."
Just as Jinse was about to leave, she heard Xuan Dynasty softly say "headache" and sat back down beside the bed, rubbing his temples. "Is it better? Why does drinking make you feel so awful?" Xuan Dynasty still frowned and said, "Headache."
Jinse focused on massaging Xuan Li's temples.
At this moment, Xuan Li was resting on Jinse's lap, and his furrowed brow had relaxed.
"Xuan Li, why is your forehead so hot? Can drinking cause a fever?" Jinse panicked a little. "I'll go call Fengyin to come check on you."
She let Xuan Li lie back on the pillow and was about to get up to leave when her small hand was tightly held by the person on the bed. "Xuan Li, I..."
Xuan Li reached out and pulled Jinse onto the bed. Jinse's small face instantly turned bright red and then pale again. "Xuan Li, are you awake or...?"
He was drunk; he was really drunk.
It turned out that being drunk felt so wonderful.
"Jinse," Xuan Li called softly, "I'm drunk."
"Being drunk is just fine," Jinse thought, patting her chest in relief.
Looking at Xuan Li's increasingly close handsome face, her heart raced uncontrollably.
"I want to kiss you, Jinse."
Is this a dream or another dream?
It's yet another dream with Jinse!
"Jinse," Xuan Li softly called, pulling Jinse into his embrace.
So warm, so fragrant, so delightful.
Lady, Lady, joyful and merry;
Lady, Lady, sorrowful and sad;
For the one who understands me, I cannot let go.
"Jinse, why won't you be my Wife?" Xuan Li sighed lightly, gently kissing Jinse's brow and eyes. "Be my Wife."
