"Isn't that where we're going to see?" Fengyin retorted.
Hibiscus frowned; how could there be any surprise left in this?
"Hurry up and ask." As they were about to reach the Treasure Pavilion, Hibiscus commanded, "Ask!"
"Benefactor, what do you want to take me to see?" Fengyin asked slowly, enunciating each word carefully.
"Does it sound like you're not looking forward to it?" Hibiscus looked at Fengyin with a gaze as refreshing as water, clearly displeased with such a question from his young master.
"Benefactor?!" Fengyin cupped his hands over his chest, making a heart shape. His beautiful eyes curved like a crescent moon, sparkling with stars. "What are you going to take me to see?" After speaking, his long eyelashes fluttered!
"Too dramatic," Hibiscus said, slapping his hand on Fengyin's small face. It was truly an unbearable sight; he couldn't stand it.
Fengyin brushed a strand of white hair over his chest and saw the words "Treasure Pavilion" right in front of him. "We're here; do you still need to ask?"
"Keep asking!" Hibiscus revealed a charming yet dangerous smile.
"Benefactor, what do you want to take me to see?"
"Benefactor! What do you want to take me to see?"
"Um~~~~~ Benefactor, what are you~~~ going to take me to see~~?"
"Benefactor, what do you want to take me to see!!!"
"Benefactor!!!! What exactly do you want to take me to see!! Ah!"
"Benefactor, how long do we have to keep talking about this?"
"Benefactor, the sun has already set."
"Benefactor?"
"Not sincere."
Hibiscus shook her head, gave her evaluation, and then pushed the door open.
Then she came out holding a piece of jade, and in the end, the surprise turned out like this.
Hibiscus threw the jade piece at Fengyin and then turned to leave.
Fengyin hugged the jade pendant, squinting her eyes to examine it for a moment.
"Treasure!" She tucked it into her bosom and followed Hibiscus.
It was a warm jade that could keep one warm in winter and cool in summer, truly magical. Such a priceless treasure was indeed worthy of being called a treasure.
After wandering around for a while, Hibiscus had already floated away. Fengyin returned to the West Garden and whispered with Jinse in her chamber.
"Fengyin, when do you think I can take Xuan Li's child and fly far away?" Jinse asked while embroidering patterns, looking at Fengyin who was preparing medicine.
"I don't know. You must be thinking about it during the day; you probably have spring dreams every night," Fengyin said as she smelled a herb at her nose before setting it aside to pick up another one.
"Yeah, how did you know? I often dream at night, and they are all about Xuan Li," Jinse said, her face turning red.
"That's bad; dreams are usually the opposite," Fengyin said, focusing on grinding the herbs, pounding, pounding, pounding!
"Dreams are usually the opposite?" Jinse felt struck by lightning; her dreams were all gone without a trace, and her future seemed bleak. There was no longer any interest in embroidering flowers and birds; she just buried herself under the covers on the bed and cried out.
"Eh?" Fengyin put down the herbs in her hands. She looked at Jinse, who was sobbing under the blanket, and said, "Jinse, don't be sad. Good dreams can come true; nightmares are just the opposite."
"Really?" Jinse emerged from the blanket with red eyes.
Fengyin nodded firmly; it was absolutely true.
"Ah!" Jinse suddenly got up from the couch and walked towards the window. "I heard Xuan Li's voice."
"How come I didn't hear it?"
"Xuan Li is here; I heard his voice."
Jinse quickly sat by the vanity, tidying her hair. Fengyin packed the ground herbs into a pouch and then placed it in a small cloth bag. She also put away the mortar and pestle, then clapped her hands. Where was Xuan Li? Why hadn't she seen him? Perhaps Jinse was just missing Xuan Li? It must be an illusion.
Looking at Jinse beside her, with Azure Silk cascading around her and her beautiful features framed by her hair, Fengyin glanced at her own white hair, set it aside, and picked up a wooden comb from the vanity to gently comb Jinse's black hair.
"Fengyin, let's go out; he has arrived. I can hear his footsteps," Jinse closed her eyes and smiled lightly.
Fengyin watched her serene face. Could footsteps really be heard?
Hibiscus was chatting happily with Xuan Li. "This peaceful era is quite boring; all the ministers are sending their daughters to the palace. This selection business has been handed over to the Third Brother, and they are all trying to place people by my side," Xuan Li chuckled softly.
