The salary of the Medical Personnel in the Star Alliance Military, Rek knew from his previous life, is several times higher than that of students and ordinary soldiers.
"The nurse, Manli, in the medical room introduced me to some natural cosmetics. There are products for skin whitening and hydration. She said women should use these things.
I bought some, and they work quite well. Look, I even have foundation on my face now!
Moreover, last month my salary was calculated based on the nurse level, and this month I have just been promoted to the doctor rank," Moon Goddess said happily.
Hearing this, Rek realized that Moon Goddess probably wouldn't have much money left at the end of each month.
When women start buying cosmetics, it's like a bottomless pit. Even in the Super Soldier Academy Fortress, high-end cosmetics are always available, attracting many female students and teachers to purchase them.
"Even High-Fidelity Female Robots are wearing makeup now; this life is becoming unbearable," Rek thought with some sentiment.

"Rek, there's a Cosmetics Store over there. I want to go in and take a look at the cosmetics," Moon Goddess said, pointing to a small shop nearby.
"Weren't you saying you wanted to buy me a gift? I don't need any cosmetics," Rek replied, glancing at the small store filled with women's cosmetics.
"I'm just asking you to accompany me inside to take a look. This time I won't buy anything. After we finish looking around, I'll buy you a gift. It's not often that you accompany me shopping; let's walk around a bit," Moon Goddess insisted as she pulled Rek inside.
The store clerk looked at Moon Goddess, who was dressed so well, bringing her boyfriend in, and enthusiastically began introducing the cosmetics available in the store.
Rek listened on the side, feeling bored.
In this small shop, Moon Goddess chatted for over half an hour.
"My face feels a bit dry this morning!"
"Try this; your skin is lacking moisture. This is a pure plant mask, perfect for your skin type."
The environment and air inside the Dark Space Academy Fortress are purified, but it can't compare to the Main World.
Many girls don't know how to take good care of their skin during their freshman year, and by the time they graduate four years later, their skin has become much drier," the Clerk enthusiastically introduced to Moon Goddess.
Rek listened to the Clerk's words and knew that with Moon Goddess's personality, she would probably end up buying a lot.
Sure enough, Moon Goddess did not keep her promise of just looking when she first entered the store. When she and Rek walked out of the cosmetics shop, she was holding a large box of masks.
"That shop selling small accessories looks nice too! Let's go check it out!" Moon Goddess said.
"Okay," Rek nodded and followed her in.
"There's a shop over there selling woven bracelets and necklaces; they look so cute! Let's go take a look," Moon Goddess said.
"Um," Rek followed along again.
"Over there—"
In just a short street, the Moon Goddess had been shopping for several hours, and it was already afternoon by the time they reached the end.
"There's a men's clothing store. Let's go in and pick out a little gift for you." The Moon Goddess, full of energy, suddenly remembered she hadn't bought anything for Rek yet. She felt a bit embarrassed since she had already filled several bags with her own purchases and pulled the now tired Rek into the store.
"What do you want? I can't buy clothes or pants anymore; I don't think I have enough money," the Moon Goddess whispered to Rek.
"Anything!" Rek replied casually.
"How can it be anything? This is the first gift I'm giving you; we have to choose carefully, something you can use and like," the Moon Goddess said, pouting slightly.
"As long as it's from you, I'll like it," Rek said dismissively.
"That's not bad. Over there is a row selling belts and hats; see which one you like," the Moon Goddess said as she led Rek to a corner of the small clothing store.
Other male students in the store looked on in surprise as such a beautiful Moon Goddess was shopping with an ordinary-looking guy like Rek.
They were even buying things for him, and he seemed resistant to it; he truly didn't know how fortunate he was.
The other male students selecting clothes watched Rek and the Moon Goddess with envy and jealousy towards Rek.
Some bold seniors wanted to approach the cute and lively girl, Moon Goddess, but after seeing the pile of women's clothing bags that Rek had left at the entrance, they abandoned the idea. "Another terrifying shopping fanatic!" The male students now looked at Rek with some sympathy.
"Just this belt, I think this one is great. I'm not used to wearing hats; they obstruct my view," Rek casually grabbed a pair of pants' belt and said to Moon Goddess.
"Take your time choosing; don't rush. There are plenty of belts here," Moon Goddess replied as she took the belt from Rek's hand.
Rek thought to herself, what's there to choose about a belt? They all work the same; as long as it’s usable, that's enough.
"Well, I feel this one suits me perfectly; I picked it at first glance," Rek said, not wanting to choose any more.
"Alright, we'll take this one. Boss, please ring this up and wrap it in a gift box," Moon Goddess called over the clerk to make the payment.
After Boss packaged the gift box, Moon Goddess held it carefully with both hands and solemnly handed it to Rek.
"Make sure to use this first gift I gave you well!" Moon Goddess said as they started school.
In less than ten minutes, Rek and Moon Goddess walked out of the men's clothing store.
"You buy things so quickly!" Moon Goddess remarked.
"Boys tend to shop fast. It's already past noon; let's grab something to eat on Pedestrian Street before heading back," Rek suggested, pointing towards a noodle shop ahead.
The two large iron pots he had bought earlier were from that noodle shop; he wondered if Boss still remembered him.
"Sure! Now that you mention it, I realize I'm hungry," said the Moon Goddess.
The two arrived at the noodle shop, and the Boss immediately recognized Rek.
"How are those big pots I sold you? You brought your girlfriend to eat here!" the Boss greeted Rek enthusiastically.
"They're great. My classmate wants to buy two more. Do you still have big pots?" Rek asked.
"Oh, not this time. When I buy kitchenware next time, I'll order two more sets. It should take about a month," the Boss replied. After all, Rek had paid a good amount for the pots, so it was easy for the Boss to make a quick profit.
"Alright, let's start with two bowls of Big Meat Noodles and a Side Dish," Rek ordered, also getting noodles for the Moon Goddess.
"Got it! You can sit down while I prepare that," the Boss noted before heading to the kitchen.
The Moon Goddess looked at Rek curiously. "You know this noodle shop's Boss? Did you buy big pots from him? Can you cook? Can you cook in your dorm?"
"I bought them for a friend. Knowing this Boss was just a coincidence, but his Big Meat Noodles are really good," Rek explained.
In a few minutes, two steaming bowls of Big Meat Noodles were served, along with a large plate of Side Dish.
As the Moon Goddess enjoyed her bowl of Big Meat Noodles, she couldn't stop praising it. The noodle shop on Pedestrian Street offered a completely different style and flavor compared to the cafeteria in the medical office.
