"Understood, War God System. After listening to your words tonight, I feel much better," Rek said. Although the voice of War God System was cold, Rek, who had just woken from a nightmare, felt particularly comforted by these words.
"So, Host, based on your performance tonight, System has arranged another targeted mission for you.
Scanning Host's situation in tonight's nightmare and current thoughts, generating a fixed-type mental enhancement mission for War God System.
Mission Name: Fearless War God - **Tower Infinite Loop Mission.
Mission Description: Host will enter a **Tower. Inside this tower, most of what Host thinks and ** will be realized in an illusory manner by **Tower.
Of course, the realization will occur when Host dies inside this **Tower.
When Host dies, the mission will reset, and Host will re-enter the **Tower, where **Tower will realize anything that Host desires.
Mission Completion Condition: When **Tower can no longer realize Host's **, the back door of the tower will open, allowing Host to exit from **Tower.
Mission Completion Reward: Host can leave a message on the War God Host monument behind **Tower. This message will be passed down forever, and based on Host's mission completion status, corresponding rewards will be randomly drawn.
Warm Reminder: The ** of ordinary people is endless; fear and cowardice are also forms of **, reflecting a desire to become stronger. As the future War God, one should possess an unshakeable mindset that defies fate or even the destruction of the world." The voice of War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
"System, you just started sounding better to me and immediately gave me a mission. I was wondering how you changed! Turns out you weren't comforting my emotions after a nightmare; you were preparing to mess with me again!
**Tower, and it's the Infinite Loop mission again. That previous bioweapon crisis Infinite Loop mission almost drove me crazy, and now you're doing it again!" Rek complained to the War God System in his mind.
However, War God System remained unfazed. A golden light gate opened, and inside it, Rek saw a towering golden structure reaching into the sky. The tower bore two characters that Rek did not recognize, but somehow he understood their meaning was **.
The great door of the tower opened, and Rek's body was drawn into the golden light gate.
The blinding golden light forced Rek to close his eyes.
When Rek opened his eyes again, he found himself inside a **Tower, surrounded by various sculptures.
"This scene inside the **Tower isn't bad; it's just a bit desolate," thought Rek.
Just as Rek was thinking, the Tower suddenly filled with people, some of whom Rek recognized and some he did not.
Rek suddenly realized that his body began to split.
"Mission accomplished, mission failed, resetting mission." The cold voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
"What the hell, this counts as an accomplishment? This is ridiculous!" Rek thought, feeling somewhat frustrated as his body reappeared in the empty Tower.
This time, Rek dared not think wildly and began to consider how to get out of this cursed Tower.
"The Tower can realize what I think and desire, so I want to walk out of the Tower and complete the mission," Rek thought as hard as he could.
A small door appeared behind the Tower, and Rek walked out to see the sunlight in the sky. He was somewhat surprised that he had completed the mission so easily.
Suddenly, his body decomposed again, and the voice of the War God System rang in his mind: "Mission accomplished, mission failed, resetting mission. The scene Host saw earlier about completing the mission by walking out of the Tower was just an illusion created by the Tower."
"This is unbelievable," Rek complained inwardly as he found himself alone in the Tower once more.
"I want to become stronger, to become a war god, to be the most powerful person in the universe," Rek tried to focus on that thought.
An illusory scene appeared; it was as if Rek were dreaming. In this dream, he became the strongest person in the universe, and no enemy could withstand even a single blow from him. He completed the War God System's mission and became a war god.
"Mission accomplished, mission failed, resetting mission. The war god and strongest being Host became earlier were merely illusions created by the Tower," the cold voice of the War God System echoed again in Rek's mind.
Standing inside the Tower, Rek pondered for a long time but still could not come up with a solution.
"Bring me a sumptuous feast; I want to eat well first." Feeling somewhat hungry, Rek decided to have a good meal before anything else since this illusion of the Tower felt too real.
After enjoying a lavish meal, the mission failed again, and Rek was reset back into the Tower.
Fortunately, after eating just now, Rek no longer felt hungry.
Rek began in the **Tower, coming up with various difficult-to-achieve goals, all of which were realized by the **Tower.
The destruction of Earth, the annihilation of the universe, the disappearance of Dark Space, ruling humanity and becoming an emperor, and so on. After countless failed missions and resets, Rek appeared once again alone in the **Tower, feeling somewhat broken.
Faced with the **Tower, which could use various illusions to help Rek achieve all his goals, Rek felt a sense of despair.
"Give me a big bed; I want to sleep well."
A large bed appeared, and after Rek took a nap, he failed the mission again and was reset once more.
Thus, Rek began to continuously propose his ideas within the **Tower, but faced with the **Tower's ability to create various illusions, many of Rek's difficult-to-achieve goals were easily realized.
Feeling somewhat self-destructive, Rek thought that while achieving these goals was satisfying, being unable to leave the **Tower meant he could only daydream inside it. It was incredibly frustrating not to complete the War God System tasks.
Rek started trying to rid himself of desires and wants. Later, he discovered that this state of being desireless was also a form of expression within the **Tower.
When Rek finally managed to enter a state of meditation and became desireless, he failed the mission again and was reset.
The War God System began to inform Rek that this cyclical task was similar to the cyclical tasks in Resident Evil; within the **Tower mission world, a long time could pass while only a few seconds went by in reality. Even if Rek mentally broke down, the War God System would kindly help him recover.
"Thank you, War God System, thank you and your whole family," Rek shouted within the **Tower, as he failed the mission once more and his body was reset again.
