The Golden-Haired Girl saw Rek and the Moon Goddess beside him, and she was momentarily stunned.
"It's you! You seem to be under the recruitment age for the Star Alliance. How come you're participating in Dark Space at this time?" Rek exclaimed in surprise.
"I'm a special recruit. Rek, congratulations on still fighting to survive.
I didn't expect you to come to the Super Soldier Academy so early; it seems we will become alumni.
You're even faster than I am!
This must be your sister, the Moon Goddess!
By the way, Rek, how about you let me have that seed, or when you open the Death Flower Sea, take me along." The little girl looked at Rek and the Moon Goddess as she spoke.
This little girl was none other than Alice, whom Rek had met not long after his rebirth in Dawn City at the Sunshine Orphanage, the original Host of the War God System Feather.
Rek knew that this little girl named Alice appeared harmless, looking around ten years old, but she had returned from her previous life through a peculiar item from the War God System.
"How do you know me?" The Moon Goddess looked at the Golden-Haired Girl with some curiosity. It was her first time being recognized since coming to the real human society, and someone approached her calling her name.
"Divine Doctor Moon Goddess, you are a legendary figure; your medical skills are exceptional and hard to forget," Alice said with a meaningful smile after addressing the Moon Goddess.
Hearing someone praise her as a divine doctor made the Moon Goddess very happy. She thought that this little girl must have been to the Ancient Capital and recognized her there.
"I already have this seed; I won't give it to you. I will open the Death Flower Sea myself. Why should I take you? What do I get in return?" Rek asked Alice in front of him.
Having gone through tasks from the War God System, Rek knew that this Alice was previously the Host of the War God System in his past life. Although there was no War God System now, she should know many secrets about systems that he did not understand.
"If you take me with you, I will tell you a method. After using that method, as long as you don't act recklessly, it can relatively reduce the occurrence rate of tasks by half. Of course, some mandatory daily tasks cannot be skipped.
I believe you've managed to survive until now and have experienced several strange and dangerous tasks! You should have some understanding of task dangers," Alice confidently told Rek.
"Deal." Rek agreed without a second thought.
The War God System had already caused him enough trouble with its unpredictable task assignments.
The ability to reduce the danger of death by half is a significant advantage for Rek.
"Tell me how!" Rek asked Alice.
"I'll tell you how after you take me to the Death Flower Sea! See you at the academy tomorrow," Alice said as she turned to leave.
Just as she was about to exit the shop, Alice turned back, "I've left this bottle of Mule in a Bottle for you, Old Wang. I advise you to return to the Main Plane of Earth soon." With that, Alice set down the bottle and left.
Old Wang, the shopkeeper, walked over to pick up the bottle and looked at Rek and Moon Goddess with confusion.
Old Wang asked Rek, "Is there something special about my seed that can open that flower sea? Is it very precious?"
"What's special about it is no longer your concern, Old Wang. The seed now belongs to me. Alice is right; if you have the chance, leave the Dark Dimension and return to Main Space Earth. The money you make here may be plenty, but you need your life to enjoy it," Rek told Old Wang before pulling Moon Goddess away, leaving Old Wang looking bewildered.
At Sanctuary Base, there were temporary Metal Rooms prepared for soldiers from other Fortresses. Rek and Moon Goddess stayed overnight at Sanctuary Base using their Identity Watch.
----
The next day, after a simple breakfast in the soldier's cafeteria at Sanctuary Base, Rek took Moon Goddess to the lower level of Sanctuary Base, where they accessed the Metal Passage connecting to Super Soldier Academy.
Using the rolling Elevator through the connecting passage, Rek and Moon Goddess entered Super Soldier Academy.
From the outside, Super Soldier Academy Fortress resembled a massive university with its metal teaching buildings, playgrounds, libraries, and other iconic structures.
Today, virtual projections within Super Soldier Academy displayed numerous directional arrows. Rek and Moon Goddess's Wrist Communicators emitted alert sounds.
"Proceed to First Training Ground for the Opening Ceremony and class assignments."
"Report to Classroom 101 at the academy's medical office."
Rek and Moon Goddess separated and followed their respective paths according to the Virtual Map on their Wrist Communicators.
Rek arrived at First Training Ground and found a vast metal arena where over three hundred students dressed in Super Soldier Academy uniforms stood neatly arranged below.
In the center of the arena, a square platform rose from the metal ground.
In the center of the arena stood an elderly figure, possibly a grandmother or grandfather, wearing thick glasses and having long white hair. Dressed in a colorful skirt, a metal badge reading "Principal" hung from their neck.
Seeing this ambiguous figure, Rek was somewhat surprised. However, when Rek noticed the teachers standing beside the principal, he became even more unsettled.
Six ordinary teachers dressed in black Star Alliance Military Uniforms and two Special Teachers in red military uniforms flanked the elderly figure on either side.
The Special Teachers in red uniforms, one male and one female, appeared to be in their thirties and mid-twenties respectively. The male looked like a ruggedly handsome middle-aged man, while the female had blue hair, stood about 1.75 meters tall, and carried a long sword on her back that reached her shoulder.
“Maya!” Rek thought to himself. Indeed, the special female teacher standing in the arena was Maya, the grown-up version of Maya.
She was previously the female class leader during the Biohazard mission. After experiencing so many cycles in that world, Rek was certain he wouldn't mistake her.
He never expected to see Maya herself in his real world. Although she seemed slightly older than in the Biohazard World, this twenty-five or six-year-old Maya exuded the charm of a female swordsman. Standing there, she felt as sharp as a long sword.
Rek felt increasingly uncomfortable as the white-bearded principal began delivering an opening speech in a sticky voice that made listeners want to gag. Many students wished they could pick up a brick and throw it at this ambiguous principal; listening to that voice was truly torturous.
Finally, after the Old Principal finished speaking, they began dividing classes.
Among the three hundred and ten new students present, a large portion was assigned to six Regular Classes taught by teachers in black uniforms, ranging from Class One to Class Six of the first year, with about fifty students per class.
