In the orphanage of Dawn City, there was a little girl named Alice, who is now the Host of the War God System, or is about to become the new Host of the War God System Feather. Rek recalled this rumor; the little girl named Alice would soon kill everyone in the orphanage and would later be wanted by the Federal Government as a dangerous individual with mental mutations.
Five years later, this girl named Alice had grown up. It was said that she single-handedly took down an Alien Mother Nest in the Dark Dimension. Later, during an ambush by Alien Species, she was mortally wounded while protecting the Star Alliance Genetic Mecha Squad.
After Alice's death, the War God System Feather floated out of her body. It was discovered by numerous military soldiers and parasitized within the body of a nearby soldier.
Subsequently, this soldier, now parasitized by the War God System Feather, went insane and displayed astonishing combat prowess and destructive power. After killing many Alien Species and teammates, he fell unconscious and was taken away by the Star Alliance Federal Research Institution that arrived shortly after. It was at that time that the War God System Feather began to gain attention from the Star Alliance Research Institution.
Rek was certain about this information regarding the mysterious War God System Feather; as long as the current Host died, the War God System Feather would float out and randomly select an intelligent being nearby to become the new Host.
Rek quickly returned to his rented room, tidied up briefly, and took all his electronic savings. Looking at his Wrist Communicator, he suddenly noticed several missed calls from his homeroom teacher.
"That's right, I'm in my senior year. In ten days, I have to take the college entrance examination. The college entrance examination! Oh my god, after living in this apocalypse for over ten years, I've forgotten everything I learned. I won't be able to get into medical school like in my previous life. Besides, there’s only one year and two months left until the Alien Species crisis breaks out; even if I get into medical school, I won't graduate and will struggle to make a living," Rek thought to himself.
Rek replied to his homeroom teacher with a message asking him to enroll him in the Star Alliance Military's mobile city in the Dark Dimension - Super Soldier Academy. Rek was preparing to enlist. Although Super Soldier Academy would be the first mobile city fortress of the Star Alliance Federation to be destroyed when the Alien Beings outbreak occurred in one year and two months, it was still the highest military academy accessible to someone of Rek's civilian status.
Only by entering a military academy could Rek obtain a Genetic Mech from the military before a widespread outbreak of Alien Species occurred, allowing him to upgrade it sooner. As for the Alien Species crisis in one year and two months, Rek believed that since he already knew when the Xeno Outbreak would happen, he would have a chance to leave that dangerous urban fortress of Super Soldier Academy early.
Rek thought about Genetic Mech, which was said to be similar to parasitic biological armor discovered by the Star Alliance Federation at an ancient site. After years of research by Star Alliance Military scientific institutions, breakthroughs were finally made over the past decade, leading to its distribution among Star Alliance Military personnel.
This armor called Genetic Mech was something Rek received from the Star Alliance Military Supply Office after several years during the apocalypse due to his contributions in treating Injured individuals because he did not have a military identity at first. This also meant that Rek's upgrade speed for Genetic Mech was several years slower than most warriors during the apocalypse.
Genetic Mech is a parasitic mech that can evolve by killing living beings and absorbing energy, or rather, it resembles a symbiotic armor.
In the later stages of the apocalypse, Alien Species mostly became aware of the human Genetic Mech combat mode. A few years after the Alien Species arrived at the Main Plane of Earth, they evolved according to the environment, making hunting quite troublesome.
In the previous life, Rek only managed to upgrade the Genetic Mech to Captain level at the very end, and it couldn't even fly at high altitudes. However, the powerful combat assistance capabilities of the Genetic Mech and its ability to upgrade both the mech itself and the Host are essential items for survival in the apocalypse.
Although there is still a year and two months before the apocalypse begins, Genetic Mech is already being sold in the black market. However, looking at the pitifully low credit points in Rek's electronic bank card, he simply cannot afford it.
With the college entrance examination in ten days, Rek plans to just go through the motions.
Currently, the Star Alliance Federation and Glorious Empire are colonizing the early stages of the Dark Dimension. Facing the Dark Dimension, there is an urgent need for soldiers and exploration teams willing to go, even if they are new recruits.

He found a total of sixteen girls named Alice in Dawn City, aged between five and ten. Fortunately, only one was in an orphanage; she is nine years old and resides in a government-run orphanage called Dawn Sunshine Orphanage. As for other background information about Alice, Rek's permissions on his Wrist Communicator were insufficient to access data from the Star Alliance database.
It should be the Dawn Sunshine Orphanage, Rek thought as he bought some fruit and toys by the roadside and got into a Hover Car heading to the Sunshine Orphanage.
The orphanage was located in the suburbs of Dawn City, consisting of a three-story building and a large playground where dozens of children were playing.
Rek approached the entrance of the orphanage when an old woman dressed in black called out to him.
"Who are you looking for?"
"I would like to volunteer for a while and donate some money to the orphanage, although it's not much," Rek said naturally.
"There aren't many good kids like you these days. May God bless you. Come with me, child." The old woman readily agreed to Rek's volunteering request without any unnecessary talk. The old woman took the fruit and toys from Rek's hands.
Rek followed the old woman in black to a finance room, where she deducted one-third of Rek's savings. She then began explaining the layout of the orphanage and assigned Rek a small room on the first floor.
"There isn't much hard work; just play with the children and ideally teach them some skills. But you can't take them out of the orphanage without prior approval," the old woman told Rek.
Rek nodded in agreement.
