"Liu You'er" lay exhausted on the soft bed. Even though "Liu Yue" and "Xiaomin" were arguing incessantly in her mind, it couldn't stop her deep drowsiness. It was a bit strange that other "Zombies" didn't need rest while she had to sleep for three hours every day. Fortunately, her sleep schedule was quite fixed, from 2 AM to 5 AM, so it wasn't too much of a bother. Her only hope was to wake up and see those two coexisting peacefully. 0

Three hours later 0

"Liu You'er" woke up refreshed. It was still pitch black outside. She turned to look at the room, which was in disarray due to the antics of two certain individuals, and sighed silently. Thankfully, her good quality sleep meant she hadn't heard a thing. She strolled slowly to the adjacent room and walked into the bathroom under the curious gaze of the nearby "Zombie." After closing the door, she took a shower and changed her clothes. 0

Looking in the mirror at her reflection—dressed in a black leather jacket, with fair skin and a high ponytail—she nodded in satisfaction. Suddenly, she felt like she had forgotten something. Tilting her head and thinking for a moment yielded no answer, so she shrugged it off and went downstairs. 0

The street was as desolate as ever, covered in a thick layer of dust with remnants of dried blood and white debris scattered about. Flies buzzed around, and "Zombies" either stood dazed or sat quietly on the ground. "Liu You'er" kicked a metal trash can with a thud, causing the nearby "Zombies" to turn their gazes toward her. Upon realizing it was a more advanced "Zombie," they quickly looked away in fear. 0

Looking at these familiar faces among the "Zombies," "Liu You'er" wondered, "Do these 'Zombies' have a sense of territory? It's been two days already, yet they haven't wandered elsewhere?" She decided to find a way to verify this. 0

Just as she pulled out a rope from her space, a loud "rumble" echoed from 1,000 meters above her head. A "Military Helicopter" flew past her direction. As it passed overhead, she suddenly sensed an energy fluctuation similar to her own "Mental Power." She immediately looked up but found that feeling had vanished. Frowning slightly, she thought, "It must be an illusion." Her attention returned to the "Zombies" in front of her as she chose two that appeared to be in their twenties—a male and a female—and tied the rope around their wrists. After sensing the positions of "Liu Yue" and "Xiaomin," she led these two "Zombies" along with her. 0

"Chuze" paused his fingers over the keyboard. A glint appeared in his eyes behind his glasses, but upon closer inspection, they were calm as usual without any change. His bony fingers slowly lifted; he slightly bent his middle finger to push up his glasses—a very ordinary action that he performed with an air of seriousness. Then he lowered his head to look through the bulletproof glass below him. All he could see were grotesque "Zombies" wandering aimlessly; everything seemed normal, so he continued with his work. 0

“Deputy Director Chu, is something wrong?” came the pilot's voice through the headset. 0

"Chuze" shook his head and continued typing rapidly on the keyboard. 0

The pilot looked down at the bustling Zombies below, feeling unusually distressed. He thought to himself, "Many good friends have unfortunately been infected while protecting the crowd, turning into these monsters." Unable to help himself, he asked, "Deputy Director Chu, is this trip to B City for vaccine research?" As soon as the words left his mouth, he regretted it; he had overstepped, as such matters were confidential and could not be answered. He awkwardly scratched his head, but unexpectedly heard a calm "Hmm" from behind him. This surprised the burly man, and he chose not to say more, continuing to pilot the plane. 0

After walking for half an hour while leading two Zombies, Liu You'er released them. After walking a bit further, her eyes suddenly lit up when she spotted a Zombie police officer! Of course, she was not happy because it was a police officer Zombie; rather, she was thrilled to see that this Zombie had a gun! Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she approached the police Zombie and successfully took the gun from him. The Zombie merely looked at Liu You'er in confusion, wondering why she was "messing around" on him and why she pulled out something inedible before leaving. 0

At this moment, Liu You'er was extremely happy, fondling the Revolver in her hand. She had always liked firearms and had some theoretical knowledge about them. The gun in her hand had six chambers, with four bullets remaining inside. Even so, she felt satisfied; however, this did not stop her from planning to raid the ammunition depot with Liu Yue and Xiaomin later. 0

Just imagining a space filled with weapons and ammunition made her super excited. She stored the handgun away and after about an hour finally arrived ten meters in front of a factory. She couldn't help but wonder what those two were doing here. 0

Since Liu Yue and Xiaomin had been arguing non-stop since she woke up, she decided to block out their voices. Now that they had arrived at their destination, it was necessary to ask them what was going on. However, just as she removed the block, she heard Liu Yue and Xiaomin's voices in unison: "Sister, run away!!!" 0

Liu You'er was taken aback and hadn't reacted yet when a strong Wind Sound rushed toward her from behind, accompanied by a crackling noise reminiscent of burning wood. Although Liu You'er instinctively turned around to shield herself with her arms, she was still kicked ten meters away by the immense force and crashed through the factory's metal door onto the ground. Fortunately, being a Zombie meant she felt little pain; however, she was still surprised. She had earned an eighth-degree black belt in Judo before her transformation and had even better physical abilities now—how could she be so easily overwhelmed? 0

As footsteps slowly approached, an irresistible sense of fear surged within Liu You'er. From her observations, Zombies only felt this way when encountering higher-level Zombies. She stiffly raised her head and inhaled deeply upon seeing that the opponent clearly exceeded First-Level Zombies in Pupil count. 0
