"Hanako, I did it!" After what felt like a long time, I opened my eyes and cheered.
Why is there no response? Where is Hanako?
"Hanako, Hanako, are you there?" Didn't he say he would keep watch for me? Why has he disappeared?
No way, he wouldn't abandon me...

Hanako's big tail still hadn't grown back; he was struggling toward the waterfall. He was so close—just a little more and his body would be completely melted!
“Xi Meng?” Huazi asked weakly.

“Alright, let’s not talk about that now. We need to get out of here!”
I grabbed Huazi and had him hold tightly onto my neck, pressing his body against my back. In his current state, he could fall off at any moment.
I sighed helplessly. Was there anything waiting for him outside?
“Yu, hurry, put in more effort! Quick, charge out!” Since we were already here, we might as well take a gamble!
The armor on my arms and legs glowed with a mix of yellow and blue light. I closed my eyes, gritted my teeth, and charged! I plunged into the waterfall, feeling my body start to plummet instantly. Huazi on my back was trembling like a frightened little beast, clinging tightly to my neck.
“Don’t be afraid, Huazi. I’m here.” I tried to soften my voice to sound calmer. I gently patted his arm; he was holding on too tightly.
Although the Pure Sound armor shielded me from most of the heat, due to time constraints, our compatibility hadn’t reached perfection yet. My body still felt like it had fallen into hot water—at least fifty or sixty degrees; it was almost scalding.
My body kept falling, sinking deeper and deeper until—an icy sensation hit me. I opened my eyes wearily and let go of Huazi, lying flat on a surface while gasping for breath.
That was close!
If it weren’t for this armor, Huazi and I would have probably been nothing left by now!
“Huazi, wake up! Do you see? Did we succeed?”
Beside me, Huazi weakly opened his eyes, his pupils widening in disbelief as he looked at me and said blankly, “We did it! We really succeeded!”
"Ha ha, yes." I sighed, nearly losing my life.
The joy of being reborn after the disaster made Hanako suddenly jump up, ignoring how his body was recovering, and he spun around shouting.
"Wait for me, wait for me!"

Hearing him say "wait for me" suddenly reminded me of this incident. I put on a serious face and asked, "Hanako, why didn't you wait for me and just ran off to the waterfall?"
"I'm sorry, I was afraid I wouldn't have enough time."
"What do you mean no time? We are Undead—ugh, I mean, Undead is eternal." However, I would eventually leave this place; I am not some Undead!
"No, she might not be able to wait that long."
"Who is she? Your lover?" I asked.
Hanako smiled, his eyes filled with warmth—a feeling that did not belong to any Undead. He actually had it, and it was so intense.
"Not a lover; she is my faith, the only spiritual support for living on. She is more important than my life. But I left her without leaving any trace."
"What happened?"
"Ha ha, if one day we can leave, I'll tell you then. Speaking about it now will only add to the troubles."

Originally, it was a scene filled with a relaxing atmosphere, but suddenly something felt off. I frowned and stood up; however, the recovery ability of this Undead is truly comparable to that of a cockroach.
"Hanako, where do you think we are now?"
"If I'm not mistaken, we've descended another level. This is the training ground of the Moon Level."
"But do you feel it? It seems like there's nothing here."
That's right, not even the Undead.
"I'm not sure either, but there must be some mystery here. We need to be very careful; this place is far more dangerous than the previous level."
"Yeah." I nodded solemnly.
Before us was still the same sight: an endless cave entrance, large holes within smaller ones, giving a sense that we would never be able to escape.
Each entrance seemed to have a pair of greedy, bloodthirsty eyes watching me and Hanako...
Hanako also looked uneasily at the scene before us. I took his hand, and in that moment, I suddenly felt like his sister, ready to protect him at any time.
