I nodded, "Mm-hmm."
After settling the bill, I deliberately asked, "Brother, aren't you going to buy something?"

The three of us walked towards the exit together.
As we passed the detection area, the alarm suddenly went off.
Jiang Zihuan's eyes lit up as he looked at me expectantly.
I blinked innocently, "Brother, what did you do?"
Jiang Zihuan sneered, "Jiang Ziheng, are you still pretending? It must be you who took something!"
I shook my head, "I didn't."
Jiang's Mother also defended me, " Zihuan, stop talking nonsense. Ziheng would never do such a thing!"
The jewelry store manager approached us and coldly said, "Excuse me, could you three come over here?"
We followed the manager to the side.
The manager continued coldly, "We have detected that items in our store have been tampered with. Please cooperate and let me check if you have any unpaid items on you."
Jiang Zihuan eagerly said, "Sure, go ahead and check!"
As he spoke, he walked towards me, "I'll hold you up!"
I frowned, "Brother, what are you doing?"
Jiang Zihuan pinned me against the wall and said fiercely, "Jiang Ziheng, just wait to go to jail!"

Jiang Zihuan's expression changed dramatically, "You!"
The manager grew impatient, "Are you going to check or not?!"
I nodded, "Yes, of course we need to check."
The manager scanned me with the detector, and there was no reaction.
Jiang Zihuan was stunned.
I smirked, "Brother, it's your turn."
Jiang Zihuan gritted his teeth, "Fine, let’s check!"
He raised his hand and let the manager scan him.
"Beep beep beep—"
The alarm suddenly went off.
The manager's expression darkened, "So it was you after all!"
Jiang Zihuan panicked, "No... it wasn't me! I..."
The manager pulled out a diamond bracelet from his bag: "Caught red-handed; what else do you have to argue about?!"
Jiang Zihuan's eyes widened, "No... it's impossible! I..."
He suddenly looked at me and pointed at my nose angrily, "Jiang Ziheng, it’s you! You must have set me up!"
I blinked innocently again, "Brother, don’t slander me. How would I know you were going to steal a diamond bracelet?"
Jiang Zihuan was speechless.
I walked over to Jiang's Mother and said pitifully, "Mom, my brother actually stole something. I'm... I'm so scared. Should we call the police?"
Jiang Zihuan looked at me in terror and said, "Jiang Ziheng, how dare you!"
