Elder Yu is a European, he is a citizen of France, and he has innate physical features that make it difficult to distinguish that he doesn't belong here. The car stopped, and the entourage opened the door. In my eyes, they were Lisa's bodyguards, very respectful. I really envy Lisa's life.
Lisa led the way ahead, and I followed behind her. Since she said she wanted to surprise me, I didn't ask anything more.
This is a village, not big, with a few scattered households. I see that their houses are all built with wood, and it's hard to imagine what they look like inside.
Each house is square in shape, built next to each other, row by row. Slowly, I see someone sitting next to the wooden house, as if doing some handiwork. Lisa is running very fast, I didn't even have time to look closely. She seems to be very familiar with this place.
In the blink of an eye, we arrived outside a room that seemed larger than the others. Lisa stopped and gently pushed open the door, and I followed her inside.
I was dumbfounded. I saw many men and women of all ages sitting together, each holding something and carefully carving something.
"Oh, here comes our lovely Miss Lisa, come in, darling!" an elder said.
Lisa dragged me and pushed open another door in the room, and my eyes were immediately filled with exquisitely crafted little toys, and I couldn't contain my emotions...
"Wow, this is simply too beautiful, too cute, and so delicate!" I couldn't control my emotions and said it out loud. Then I heard a burst of laughter from the people around me. I knew I must have exposed my identity, making them think I was inexperienced. But it didn't matter. I felt that they were just ordinary people who relied on physical labor to make a living, and such people wouldn't cause trouble.
I understood that this village could be described as a small workshop for making toys. It seemed that they made a living by this craft.
Lisa told me that her house is full of small toys, almost all of which were bought from here. A picture flashed in my mind - Lisa's bedroom must be filled with toys, like a small palace, a unique "Doll's House"!
I am a little impressed by the people here, their craftsmanship is really good. Most of the small toys are made of pure wood, and there are also ones made of pure clay, pure bone, pure textiles, and pure paper. I am still immersed in it...
"Quickly choose one, I thought about it and still feel that giving you this gift is better! Do you like it?" Lisa looked at me.
"I really like it!" I said.
