"Grandpa, I found out through someone that Fei Hu is temporarily detained in the third prison of City A," Yingzi said as she entered, addressing Ye Cheng, who was admiring the flowers.
Ye Cheng nodded and gestured for Yingzi to come inside to talk. Once they were in the room, Yingzi closed the door behind her. Ye Cheng then said, "Most of the people held here are social thugs and some desperate criminals. I've heard that Ye Wu's subordinate, one of the Four Great Kings, Biaozi, is also locked up here. It seems this kid is in trouble."
Upon hearing this, Yingzi anxiously replied, "What should we do? I don't understand what these police are thinking. They know Fei Hu is innocent, yet they still keep him in a place like this. Shouldn't we hire a lawyer to appeal?"
"Don't rush. These matters can't be hurried. If we appeal now, the conditions aren't right. They said it's only temporary detention and he hasn't been convicted yet. However, we can find other ways to ensure Fei Hu has a more comfortable time inside while we wait for results," Ye Cheng said as he picked up the phone on the table.
Sister Wu walked in, glanced at the anxious Yingzi, and gently patted her back, saying, "Don't worry; Big Brother will handle this well. The Dragon Tiger Gang is a major force in City A, and we have people everywhere, including in this prison. We will make sure this kid doesn't suffer. The key issue is that as long as he is innocent, his detention is just a matter of time."
After listening to this, Yingzi nodded and quietly sat down on the sofa. Once Ye Cheng finished his call, he told Sister Wu, "Please go to Bell Tower for me and find Chengzi. Have him pass this message to Fei Hu, and let every brother of the Dragon Tiger Gang in the third prison know that he is the newly appointed leader of the Dragon Tiger Gang."
As he spoke, Ye Cheng unbuttoned his coat and took off a Jade Pendant from around his neck. It was intricately carved with a dragon and a tiger, clearly visible; it seemed to be his personal token. He had clearly put a lot of thought into this for Fei Hu.
Sister Wu reached out to take it with a look of reverence, indicating its importance. She quickly pulled out a small handkerchief from her bag and carefully wrapped the Jade Pendant, adding several layers for protection.
Yingzi, alarmed, stood up and said to Ye Cheng, "Grandpa, this item is too precious; you can't do this! We should think of another way! What if it gets lost during delivery? That would cause even bigger trouble!"
Ye Cheng smiled and replied, "It's fine; it's just a token. If it can help this kid avoid serious punishment inside and benefit our Dragon Tiger Gang when he comes out, what does this Jade Pendant matter? I have even more valuable things to give him to truly establish him as our leader."
"Big Brother, you shouldn't say too much about that. If Xiaofei hears or someone else overhears it, it could bring even more trouble for this kid. The position of leader is already coveted by both young masters; if they hear you're giving it to an outsider, it would cause chaos," Sister Wu promptly reminded Ye Cheng.
Ye Cheng patted his head and chuckled, "I got carried away with excitement; you're right to remind me."
Looking at Sister Wu who was about to leave, Yingzi suddenly said, "Fei Hu's number inside is 526. I wonder if it will be useful." Sister Wu memorized it and turned to go out.
Earlier today, the sun was still shining brightly, but right after lunch, it started pouring rain, and it only got heavier. The guys in the dorm were so happy that they danced around, saying that as long as it rained, they wouldn't have to go up the mountain to work.
Fei Hu lay on his bed with his hands behind his head, feeling extremely anxious. It had already been three or four days since he arrived, yet he had not found any clues about the person he was looking for. No one had come to find him either. He felt something was off; perhaps Ni Ling and the others had incorrect information, and the person he was looking for wasn't even locked up here.
Fei Hu carefully filtered through each person in his dorm. Apart from himself and Li Si Niu, among the remaining eight people, three tall and skinny ones were immediately ruled out based on height. There were also two chubby ones; one was Zhang Gui, who was completely different in appearance. As for Chen Yibiao, although he could be defined as ruthless based on his methods, he didn't look the part either, and there was no black mole behind his ear—Fei Hu had checked all of this.
Just as Fei Hu was lost in thought, the prison guard opened the door and shouted, "No need to go up the mountain this afternoon; study in the reading room. Everyone pay attention to discipline and be careful not to get a demerit." With that, he slammed the door shut again.
At that moment, Chen Yibiao walked over and quietly asked, "Why aren't you sleeping? What are you thinking about? You’re not thinking about a girlfriend, are you?"
"Haha! What else can a man think about besides women?" Li Si Niu, who was sleeping in the opposite bed, suddenly interjected.
Chen Yibiao glared and shouted, "Get lost! Sleep if you want; who told you to speak? Be careful I give you a couple of slaps."
Seeing Chen Yibiao being fierce with him, Li Si Niu angrily turned away. Today, Chen Yibiao seemed to be in a strange mood; standing by Fei Hu's bed without leaving, he smiled and said, "Since you can't sleep anyway, why not tell me about your experiences with women outside? Also, how did you end up here? It would help everyone understand you better."
Finally realizing what was going on, Fei Hu understood that this guy wanted to dig into his background. So he sat up with interest and said, "Sure! But if I'm just talking to one listener, it won't be very interesting. You should just sleep."
Upon hearing this, Chen Yibiao laughed and said, "Hey! Who says I'm the only listener? There are plenty of people here; just go ahead and talk. I'll help set the mood." This guy really acted like a prison boss; saying this, he ran over and started kicking and hitting around until everyone in the dorm gathered in front of Fei Hu's bed. A few even yawned; seeing this made Fei Hu feel a bit guilty.
With his hands resting on his legs, Li Si Niu loudly said, "526! You better make it exciting. I heard you came in because of a woman; a woman who can catch your heart must be extraordinary—she definitely has good skills in bed. Everyone loves to hear about that."
"Shut up! You're so chatty; hurry up and let him speak. Everyone's waiting to listen," Chen Yibiao said impatiently while smiling and gently sitting down beside Fei Hu's bed.
Fei Hu cleared his throat and said, "Alright! Let me tell you all about it. Since I can't go out anyway, I'll share everything I can and can't say. I'm part of a major gang in City A, does anyone know which one? If you answer correctly, I'll continue."
Zhang Gui leaned forward with his chubby head and said, "Come on, boss! Just tell us! Who doesn't know that the most powerful gang in City A over the past two years is the Dragon Tiger Gang? Am I right?" Zhang Gui looked quite pleased with himself.
"Well said! I'm with the Dragon Tiger Gang, working for the big brother there. It's quite impressive, so many of the Brothers from the Dragon Tiger Gang haven't even seen me. That's understandable. As for how I got in, it's all because of Second Master," Fei Hu said, pointing at his crotch, which made everyone burst into laughter.
Fei Hu continued, "People who mix outside tend to be quite flirtatious, and I belong to that category as well. Plus, Second Master is hard to manage; he gets all excited when he sees a beautiful woman. So I actually have quite a few women around me, but they are all just for a night; none of them can make me want to stay by their side."
"With your build, boss, it would be a shame if you weren't flirtatious," Chen Yibiao said flatteringly, giving Fei Hu a light pat on the back.
"Let me tell you about something that happened at the beginning of the year! One night, I had nothing to do, so I went to a bar on Lychee Road. There I saw a woman in a white lotus dress; she was truly stunning, especially her figure—so alluring and perfectly shaped," Fei Hu said, deliberately smacking his lips as if it were not just a feeling but a taste.
Upon hearing this, Chen Yibiao got anxious and quickly said, "Boss, you're being too roundabout; just get to the point! Tell us how you ended up in bed with her; that's what we love to hear!"
Looking at these guys who hadn't had meat in a while, Fei Hu couldn't help but laugh heartily and said, "This woman is beautiful, but she's not someone you can easily approach. Do you know there's a woman on the streets named Bai Jing? That's actually her."
"What did you say? Her name is Bai Jing? Is she around thirty years old and about one hundred sixty centimeters tall? The key point is her skin is extremely fair," Chen Yibiao suddenly perked up as if he knew this Bai Jing very well.
This surprised Fei Hu, who smiled and asked Chen Yibiao, "What? Do you know Bai Jing?"
"No, how could I know your woman, boss? I was just saying that casually. Everyone should go back to sleep! The boss doesn't really want to talk; he's just playing with you," Chen Yibiao suddenly sent everyone back to bed again. His action made Fei Hu feel very suspicious.
