Before arriving, Chuyang had imagined many times what kind of woman Enterprise really was.
Was she the dignified older sister with long legs as depicted in the game illustrations, or was she the arrogant Elder Sister with an angelic face and a devilish figure? However, he never expected that Enterprise would turn out to be someone like a "wild girlfriend."
The sharp reprimand at the door and the subsequent rough action of pulling Chuyang into the room left him somewhat disappointed, giving him a sense of "meeting in person is not as good as hearing about it."
Yet, looking at the poised woman before him, elegant and intellectually beautiful, her demeanor was completely different from what he had imagined. To be honest, Chuyang even began to doubt whether he had misjudged her earlier.
"Admiral, have some tea."
"Uh! Thank you."
As Enterprise leaned down to place the teacup on the table in front of him, a glimpse of her fair skin peeked out from the loose neckline of her clothing, causing Chuyang to momentarily freeze.
Although he couldn't see the long legs he had imagined due to her wearing long clothes, the exaggerated size of her chest suddenly made him feel that this trip was worthwhile.
"Admiral, where were you looking just now?" Enterprise asked with a half-smile as she sat down on the sofa across from him.
"Where was I looking?" Chuyang feigned ignorance.
It would be troublesome if he made her think he was a pervert during their first meeting, especially considering that his impression with Fleet Girls like Enterprise was already not very high.
"Stop pretending."
She kicked his leg lightly with her foot while still in her slippers and brushed aside her slightly messy long hair. Knowing full well, she asked, "Is there something you need when you came here, Admiral?"
Before meeting in person, to be honest, Enterprise was quite concerned about the Admiral. After all, she was one of the Fleet Girls. However, after actually meeting and hearing what Lexington had to say, the image of the Admiral that Enterprise had in her mind instantly collapsed. Thinking about having to follow such a lecherous Admiral made Enterprise worry about her future.
"Uh..." Chuyang was a bit confused.
Prior to this, whether it was Lexington, Prince of Wales, Veneto, or even Kirov, who flipped the table upon first meeting, none of them openly expressed their intentions but all seemed to have made up their minds about him.
But looking at Enterprise now, it seemed she had no intention of following him.
"Alright! Can you stop teasing my husband?" The one speaking was Lexington. She understood Enterprise's personality very well; on the surface, she appeared dignified and mature but also had a mischievous side. If she truly intended to reject Chuyang as the Admiral, she wouldn't have let them in at all, let alone kick Chuyang.
From the current situation, it was clear that she wanted to raise the stakes.
"Speak! What are your conditions?"
"Madam, that question shouldn't be asked by you; it should be asked by the Admiral," Enterprise replied leisurely. She was clearly confident in her hold over Chuyang. As one of the rare existences among Aircraft Carriers, Enterprise indeed had the capital to be proud.
"What Lexington means is what I mean," Chuyang finally realized that Enterprise wasn't planning to reject him but wanted to negotiate terms. To be honest, he wasn't skilled in this area and would leave everything to someone more professional; after all, having a lady handle it was worth two men.
"Well trained," Enterprise gave Lexington an appreciative glance. Supporting her chin with one hand, she thought for a moment and said, "First, I want opportunities for deployment."
Enterprise did not want to go back to those boring days at Naval Base. As a Fleet Girl who inherited the spirit of the war god Enterprise from history, she never intended to just eat and wait for death at Naval Base; her goal had always been the vast blue sea.
During her four years in Rongcheng, as long as resources permitted, Enterprise would go out to sea and fight against Deep Sea Shipgirls. Unfortunately, she was willing to join any Naval Base but refused to serve any organization or accept their employment. Additionally, the prices for supplies on the black market were exorbitantly high, so her opportunities for deployment were few and far between.
If she were to return to Naval Base with the Admiral now and repeat that boring life again, Enterprise would rather not have Chuyang as her Admiral at all. That way, she could freely join other Naval Bases and attack whenever she wanted.
"This is not a problem. The Admiral has recently established new rules for the Naval Base. As long as they are low-level Fleet Girls, they will be arranged for sorties as much as possible. As for me, I estimate that I won't have many opportunities to go on expeditions in the future."
The Enterprise knew exactly what Lexington was worried about. Although the Naval Base had already been closed off and all external activities halted by the time Enterprise arrived, it was still possible to find out what the Naval Base had been like before, especially regarding sorties.
At first, it was fine; both low-level and high-level Fleet Girls could basically get opportunities for sorties. However, as time went on, aside from rare missions like escorting expeditions that seldom involved battles with Deep Sea Shipgirls, any formal war against Deep Sea Shipgirls meant that low-level Fleet Girls had no chance to participate in combat at all.
To put it bluntly, Enterprise was worried about this. It was simply because her level was not high. She feared that once she returned to the Naval Base, the Admiral would treat her like before and only allow Lexington and others to sortie, completely forgetting about her in the corner.
"Secondly, I want B25 and A2." Enterprise raised her second finger.
"Admiral, I think we should leave!" Lexington stood up and pulled Chuyang, pretending to head outside.
"You two come back here." Enterprise was almost infuriated by Lexington. She was just saying it; negotiations were all about starting high and bargaining down! Forget about B25 and A2; as long as the Admiral was willing to give her a Carrier-Based Aircraft like BTD-1, she would be satisfied. There was no way around it; those basic aircraft she had were simply useless.
"What do you want us back for? The Naval Base can't afford Fleet Girls like you, so we've decided to pass."
Enterprise thought she had Lexington figured out, but little did she know that Lexington had her figured out too. As Fleet Girls, they would likely never follow a second Admiral in their lifetime; it was akin to being loyal and not serving two masters.
"Admiral, what do you mean?" Enterprise glared at Lexington. At that moment, she understood a truth: when a close friend becomes someone else's partner, they are no longer just friends.
"I..." Facing the gazes of two beautiful eyes looking at him simultaneously, Chuyang swallowed hard.
