The smile remained gentle, but her words were filled with a sense of business-like negotiation.
This outcome was not what Chuyang wanted; he felt quite frustrated inside. Clearly, in the game, Lexington was his Fleet Girl, and she was the only Wedding Ship to whom he had given a Contract Ring. Yet here, they felt like strangers.
However, upon reflection, this was not a virtual world made up of data; it was the real world. When he was at the Naval Base, he had never shown his face even once. It would be a miracle for the Fleet Girls to recognize him.
But... that was just a game; how could he possibly appear in a two-dimensional virtual world?
Now, what should he do to make Lexington stay? Should he directly tell her that he wanted to pursue her? Or should he use information about Saratoga as leverage to keep Lexington by his side? After thinking for a long time, Chuyang still couldn't come up with a suitable reason.
Just by looking at Lexington's expression, Chuyang knew that these were just his one-sided thoughts.
