Zhao Guangcai finished selling the wild chickens he brought at the market. 0
"Zhao Guangcai, you're amazing! You sold all the wild chickens in just one morning," his companion said. 0
"Today’s luck is good," Zhao Guangcai replied with a smile. 0
"Yeah, I only sold one today," his companion sighed. 0
"Don't worry, you'll definitely sell them all next time," Zhao Guangcai comforted. 0
"I hope so," his companion said. 0
"Zhao Guangcai, did you see that?" his companion asked again. 0
"See what?" Zhao Guangcai inquired. 0
"There was a black sedan," his companion said. 0
"A sedan?" Zhao Guangcai responded, puzzled. 0
"Yeah, over there," his companion pointed into the distance. 0
Zhao Guangcai looked in the direction his companion was pointing and only saw the back of a sedan disappearing into the crowd. He felt it looked somewhat familiar but didn't think much of it. 0
"Uh-huh, I saw it," Zhao Guangcai nodded. 0
"Really impressive," his companion said enviously. 0
"Do you like that kind of car?" Zhao Guangcai asked. 0
"Yeah, I want to buy one too," his companion replied. 0
"Then work hard for it," Zhao Guangcai said, patting his companion on the shoulder. 0
"I will," his companion said firmly. 0
"It's getting late; let's go," Zhao Guangcai suggested. 0
"Okay," his companion nodded. 0
Zhao Guangcai shouldered his basket and walked out of the market with his companion. Suddenly, Zhao Guangcai remembered something. 0
"You guys go ahead; I have something to take care of," Zhao Guangcai said. 0

"Zhao Guangcai, is there anything else?" the Companion asked. 0
"I have some personal matters to attend to," Zhao Guangcai replied. 0
"Oh, then we'll leave first," the Companion said. 0
"Mm," Zhao Guangcai nodded. 0
After the Companion left, Zhao Guangcai turned and walked into the market. 0
He remembered he had promised Xiaoxiao to bring her something. 0
How could he go back on his word? 0
Thinking this, a smile appeared on Zhao Guangcai's lips. 0
"Zhao Guangcai, why are you back again?" the uncle who had been with him earlier asked. 0
"I have something to take care of," Zhao Guangcai said calmly. 0
"What is it this time?" the uncle asked impatiently. 0
"Why should I tell you?" Zhao Guangcai replied coldly. 0
"Did your Wife scold you again?" the uncle asked. 0
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Zhao Guangcai said angrily. 0
"I'm just reminding you that you're a man and shouldn't always be controlled by your Wife," the uncle said. 0
"My matters are none of your business," Zhao Guangcai said in a cold voice. 0
"I'm just looking out for you," the uncle insisted. 0
"I don't need you to look out for me," Zhao Guangcai replied. 0
"You really are stubborn," the uncle said angrily. 0
"My affairs have nothing to do with you, so mind your own business," Zhao Guangcai stated firmly. 0
"I'm just trying to help, and you're treating it like an insult," the uncle said in frustration. 0
"I can't afford your so-called help," Zhao Guangcai retorted. 0
"You..." The uncle was so angry he couldn't find words. 0
"I'm leaving," Zhao Guangcai said before turning away. 0
"You..." The uncle pointed at Zhao Guangcai's back, trembling with anger. 0
"Brother Guangcai, don't stoop to his level," the Companion advised. 0

"I know." Zhao Guangcai nodded. 0
He was quite polite to Companion, after all, they had been together for a long time and were familiar with each other. 0
However, he was not as courteous to the uncle because he hated others meddling in his personal affairs. 0
Especially when it came to matters involving Xiaoxiao, he disliked others interfering even more. 0
His relationship with Xiaoxiao was not something for others to judge. 0
Zhao Guangcai suppressed his emotions and walked into the market. 0
Zhao Xiaosong had arrived. 0
This news quickly spread throughout the village. 0
Everyone had heard that Zhao Xiaosong was a young master from the capital, of noble status. 0
So, everyone rushed to see the commotion, eager to find out what this legendary young master was like. 0
In no time, a crowd gathered at the entrance of the village. 0
Zhao Xiaosong sat in the car, looking at the crowd outside with a furrowed brow. 0
He did not expect his arrival to cause such a stir. 0
Had he known this would happen, he would have come quietly and left quietly. 0
Unfortunately, there is no remedy for regret; he was already here. 0
Moreover, he was surrounded by the villagers. 0
His car was encircled by the villagers, leaving him in a dilemma with no way to advance or retreat. 0
"Young Master, what should we do?" asked the driver, Xiao Li. 0
"I'll go take a look," Zhao Xiaosong replied. 0
"Understood," Xiao Li nodded. 0
Zhao Xiaosong opened the car door and got out. 0
Seeing Zhao Xiaosong step out of the car, the villagers took a few steps back, clearing a path for him. 0
Zhao Xiaosong felt a bit uneasy at the villagers' gazes; it seemed they regarded him as a formidable threat. 0
"Hello everyone," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
The villagers remained silent, simply watching him quietly. 0

"What happened to you all?" Zhao Xiaosong asked. 0
The villagers remained silent. 0
"Could you please move aside and let me pass?" Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
The villagers still did not budge. 0
Zhao Xiaosong felt helpless; what did these villagers want? 0
At that moment, the village chief rushed over. 0
He shouted through a megaphone, "What are you all doing here? Hurry back home!" 0
Hearing the chief's voice, the villagers slowly dispersed. 0
"Are you Young Master Zhao?" the village chief asked. 0
"Yes," Zhao Xiaosong nodded. 0
"I'm really sorry; the villagers haven't seen much of the world and disturbed you," the village chief apologized. 0
"It's fine, I don't have anything important to do," Zhao Xiaosong replied. 0
"Where are you headed?" the village chief asked. 0
"I want to go to the Li Family," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"The Li Family?" The village chief was taken aback for a moment. 0
"Yes," Zhao Xiaosong nodded. 0
"I'll take you there," the village chief offered. 0
"No, it's alright; you go about your business," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"It's no trouble; I'm not busy," the village chief insisted. 0
"Really, it's not necessary, thank you," Zhao Xiaosong replied. 0
"Alright then, please be careful," the village chief said. 0
"I will," Zhao Xiaosong assured him. 0
"After you," the village chief said. 0
Zhao Xiaosong got into the car, and driver Xiao Li drove forward. 0
Although the villagers still wanted to watch the commotion, they returned home out of respect for the village chief's authority. 0
