As soon as Yan Xiaotian's voice fell, a massive net formed from water droplets and Inner Energy suddenly flew towards Luo Xiong, enveloping him from above. The net spanned several hundred square feet, its size imposing. Holding the Absolute God Mad Blade, Luo Xiong felt a surge of fear, but he had no choice but to brace himself and confront it head-on.
As the net descended, Luo Xiong swung his blade, determined to cut through it. He couldn't believe that mere water droplets and Inner Energy could withstand the force of his Absolute God Mad Blade at such close range. With a powerful strike, he sliced downwards, and as expected, a gash opened in the net. Luo Xiong felt a flicker of joy and was about to escape through the opening when it was too late; the net rapidly constricted and spun around him. The Inner Strength Silk Threads that had been severed stuck to his Absolute God Mad Blade, making it impossible for him to withdraw the weapon.
The net acted like a meat grinder, shredding Luo Xiong into pieces. A pile of flesh and blood fell into the river, staining the waters red. Just as his Absolute God Mad Blade was about to plunge into the water, Yan Xiaotian suddenly sprang up, running across the surface of the water to catch the blade in his hand.
"This is a fine blade, but unfortunately, it hasn't found its rightful owner," Yan Xiaotian remarked with a smile as he held the blade before him. He even flicked it lightly, producing a dull sound that resonated like sonic waves, causing everyone nearby to wince in pain.
All present were struck with fear; a Divine Realm expert had fallen just like that, and the brutality of his death was hard to bear. The members of the Luo family watched in rage as their ancestor was killed but dared not speak out; Yan Xiaotian was far too powerful—unbelievably so. Killing a Divine Realm expert was as easy as slaughtering a chicken.
Seeing Luo Xiong's demise, Peng Tianqi, Hua Yuedao, and Yan Lianwei turned pale with terror. Especially Hua Yuedao and Yan Lianwei, who had just moments ago dismissed Yan Xiaotian as insignificant and expressed their intent to challenge him one-on-one—now they were filled with dread.
If Yan Xiaotian could kill Luo Xiong so effortlessly, what chance did they have?
"Those who do not recognize their limits will always pay the price. Now that you've seen what I can do, do any of you wish to challenge me? I am ready for you," Yan Xiaotian said, turning his gaze towards Peng Tianqi, Hua Yuedao, and Yan Lianwei on their boat with an enigmatic smile.
The air fell into an eerie silence.
"How about we all attack together?" Hua Yuedao suggested quietly.
Individually, they might not be able to handle Yan Xiaotian, but if they teamed up, their chances of defeating him would increase significantly.
"Isn't that a bit unfair?" Yan Lianwei expressed some hesitation.
"At this point, do we have any other options? We underestimated Yan Xiaotian's strength. If we fight him one-on-one, we will surely lose. Together we might have a chance; otherwise, we might as well admit defeat," Hua Yuedao replied.
"I agree we should team up. Tianqi brother, what do you think?" Yan Lianwei asked; surrendering was not an option for them.
If they admitted defeat now, it would mean that four of the seven major Martial Arts Families of Huaxia had been defeated by Yan Xiaotian alone—a scenario that had already played out once before and could not be allowed to happen again.
"Let's join forces; there's no other way now. Yan Xiaotian's current strength is unfathomable. Only by working together can we hope for victory. It's a pity about Brother Luo Xiong," Peng Tianqi said solemnly.
Luo Xiong had sacrificed his life to gauge Yan Xiaotian's power. His strength far exceeded what Peng Tianqi and the others had anticipated. The situation had escalated beyond imagination; there was no room for choice left for them—they either had to submit or fight together.
Submitting would be too humiliating; thus, they resolved to join forces instead.
"Yan Xiaotian, do not overstep your bounds. You are no longer a part of Huaxia and have no right to meddle in Huaxia Martial Arts. If you leave now, we can let bygones be bygones. But if you continue to act arrogantly, do not blame us for joining forces to uphold justice," Peng Tianqi declared loudly.
"Enough with the nonsense. Come at me together. Back then, it took more than ten of you to barely defeat me. Now, with just the three of you? Even if a few more join, what difference would it make? I still won't take you seriously. You have no idea how vast the gap between us really is," Yan Xiaotian replied, standing with his hands behind his back, exuding arrogance.
The three of them exchanged glances before leaping into action, forming a triangular formation that surrounded Yan Xiaotian.
This was an unprecedented battle—three Divine Realm warriors joining forces to challenge one Divine Realm warrior.
Everyone watched intently; some hoped for Peng Tianqi's victory while others wished for Yan Xiaotian's triumph.
Jiang Chen sat comfortably in a chair, sipping tea leisurely, seemingly unconcerned about the unfolding events.
"Mr. Jiang, how can you still be drinking tea? That Yan Xiaotian from Hongmen is surprisingly strong. What if my grandfather and the others can't win?" Peng Bo exclaimed anxiously upon seeing Jiang Chen's nonchalant demeanor.
This was Peng Bo's first time witnessing a Divine Realm confrontation. Initially, he thought that with four Divine Realm warriors on their side, even if Yan Xiaotian was exceptional, he wouldn't stand a chance against them. But now, he was worried; Yan Xiaotian's strength exceeded expectations.
Even with three Divine Realm warriors joining forces, Peng Bo wasn't sure they could defeat Yan Xiaotian. In this critical moment, he expected Jiang Chen to share his concern, but instead found him remarkably calm.
"If your grandfather can't defeat Yan Xiaotian, then there's still me," Jiang Chen said with a smile.
"You? Mr. Jiang, don't joke around. The opponent is a Divine Realm warrior! You can't possibly be one yourself at such a young age!" Peng Bo responded in disbelief.
Jiang Chen being a Master of Transformation was already hard to fathom; how could he possibly be a Divine Realm warrior? It seemed impossible.
"Do you think I'm joking?" Jiang Chen retorted.
"Uh..." Peng Bo was at a loss for words. After a long pause, he finally said, "Mr. Jiang, even if you are a Divine Realm warrior, it doesn't mean you can match Yan Xiaotian. Senior Luo Xiong is also a Divine Realm warrior but had no strength to fight back against Yan Xiaotian. You saw it yourself; if things go south later on, Mr. Jiang, it would be best for you to leave quickly. I've prepared a covered boat for you; if things get dangerous, just take it and avoid the storm."
"You're kind-hearted, but it's unnecessary," Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
Seeing Jiang Chen's stubbornness left Peng Bo feeling helpless. Convincing him that Jiang Chen was stronger than his grandfather was simply impossible—like trying to make an adult believe that a five-year-old child could defeat the world champion boxer; the likelihood was virtually negligible.
