If Bing Tianyi wanted to escape from this place, it would be a piece of cake for him. After all, when he was chased and beaten back in the day, he became very familiar with the roads in various neighborhoods of Lan City.
Before long, the two arrived at a narrow alley that appeared to be a dead end; there was no way out from inside.
When Old Huang saw this situation, he couldn't help but smile and ask Bing Tianyi, "I say, Boss Bing, are you planning to burn your boats?"
Bing Tianyi had already thought it through. Since these people were clearly up to no good today, it would be better to deal with them right here and now to eliminate future worries.
After Old Huang finished speaking, Bing Tianyi replied with a grin, "Heh, don't worry. I believe that with our combined strength, taking care of them will be quite easy."
"Take care of them? Come on, don't joke around. This is a society governed by law; isn't it illegal to take someone out?" Old Huang said with a long face, just as he was preparing to leave quickly when unexpectedly two people appeared in front of them.
These two had no extra expressions on their faces. Upon seeing Bing Tianyi and Old Huang, they exchanged glances and charged directly at Bing Tianyi without hesitation.
Seeing this scene, Bing Tianyi was curious. Logically speaking, these two should at least ask for his name or something first. But they rushed in like this; it was obvious they had already done their homework.
"Wait..."
In a moment of desperation, Bing Tianyi shouted loudly, but the two didn't regard him at all. After he finished shouting, one of them said on the ground, "Kid, if you drop this arm today, we'll let you go."
As he spoke, this guy had already rushed in front of Bing Tianyi, suddenly pulling out a thirty-centimeter-long machete that gleamed under the sunlight.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi was taken aback and while dodging shouted angrily, "Damn it, is that bastard the one who sent you?"
The two remained silent and continued their fierce attacks on Bing Tianyi. If it were before, Bing Tianyi would have probably been beaten badly. However, after two years of rigorous training under Old Huang, his skills had improved significantly.
Dealing with these two was not much of a problem for Bing Tianyi now.
Meanwhile, upon seeing that only two people had come over, Old Huang, leaning against the wall with a helpless smile said, "I say brothers, are you just playing around? You think two people can handle us? If you're smart, you should call over thirty or forty more so I can have some fun too."
Just as Old Huang finished speaking, unexpectedly a middle-aged man's voice came from the Alley Entrance: "Get in there!"
With just three simple words, Old Huang looked up and saw more than ten Young Men appearing at the Alley Entrance. Seeing this situation unfold, Old Huang wished he could slap himself twice and couldn't help but curse under his breath: "What the hell is wrong with this!"
As the group of young men rushed in, Bing Tianyi had already taken down the two individuals in front of him. Seeing more people charging in from the Alley Entrance, Bing Tianyi quickly picked up a machete from the ground and tossed it to Old Huang, then chuckled softly, "Old buddy, weren't you just complaining about how few people we had? What's wrong now? Cat got your tongue?"
"Boss Bing, if you keep talking, I really won't care anymore," Old Huang replied with a hint of helplessness.
Seeing Old Huang's reaction, Bing Tianyi quickly laughed, "Come on, I was just joking!"
While they were talking, the group from the Alley Entrance had already stormed in. Faced with nearly ten times their number, Bing Tianyi understood that in this situation, he would either be taken down or take them down himself.
Of course, getting hurt was not an option for Bing Tianyi. So the only path left was to fight back.
With that thought in mind, Bing Tianyi gripped the machete tightly and charged into the crowd. He swung his blade, and one by one, the young men fell to the ground, screaming in pain.
Old Huang was even more ruthless; while Bing Tianyi at least left some chance for his opponents to recover with a single blow, Old Huang struck with such ferocity that arms and legs were severed and dropped to the ground.
This was largely due to Old Huang's years in the military; showing mercy to others was simply not an option for him. It was like someone who learned to use chopsticks incorrectly as a child—when they grew up and tried to learn the correct way, the chances of changing were almost zero.
In just a few minutes, more than a dozen young men lay defeated on the ground at the hands of Bing Tianyi and Old Huang.
Looking at the group of young men who were continuously screaming in agony, Bing Tianyi raised his head to glance at the middle-aged man standing at the Alley Entrance. What puzzled him was that this man seemed completely unfazed by the bloody scene before him.
Bing Tianyi dropped the machete on the ground, brushed off the dust from his clothes, and walked towards the middle-aged man.
Standing before him, Bing Tianyi quietly asked, "So? Can we finally talk about who sent you?"
"I lost today; you can go," the middle-aged man said with a simple smile.
At that moment, even Old Huang was speechless. He never expected this guy could still smile; wasn’t this just a joke?
"Why are you still smiling? Don't you want revenge for your brothers? Don’t you want to call the police to deal with me?" Bing Tianyi asked curiously.
The man smiled calmly and replied, "This is between us; I don’t think it has much to do with the police."
Bing Tianyi looked into the man's eyes and felt even more confused. He had initially thought these people were arranged by someone from their earlier dinner gathering, but now it seemed clear that they had no connection whatsoever to those individuals.
"From what you're saying, do you still want to find me in the future?" Bing Tianyi frowned and asked again.
"Hehe, the person looking for you in the future might not be me, but it’s highly likely that I arranged it," the middle-aged man replied seriously with a smile.
Bing Tianyi chuckled lightly and then shook his head, saying, "Alright then, since that's the case, I will be waiting for your esteemed presence at any time."
After saying this, Bing Tianyi turned and left with Old Huang.
After walking about two hundred meters, Old Huang scratched his head and murmured, "Boss Bing, something feels off. These people don’t seem like they were arranged by anyone from today’s dinner party."
"Alright, let’s not worry about that for now. Let’s take a look at the land issue first," Bing Tianyi said with a smile.
In the blink of an eye, a month passed quickly. Bing Tianyi arrived at the entrance of Lan City University with his university admission notice in hand, accompanied by several familiar faces.
"Boss Bing, you really are impressive now. I heard your project in Lan City is about to start construction, right?" Wang Peng was still the same as ever; it seemed he knew everything that was going on.
"You brat, how about coming to work with me?" Bing Tianyi teased.
"Of course, that would be no problem. But someone like me going to work for you would just mean free food and lodging, so I’d better not come and trouble you," Wang Peng replied with a grin.
While Bing Tianyi was chatting with his brothers, a tall and beautiful woman suddenly walked over from a distance. This girl was even more alluring than Wang Ziyan, walking with an air of elegance and grace.
What puzzled Bing Tianyi the most was that this girl walked in a manner very similar to Mei Fenfeng.
"Wow, if Mei Fenfeng could look like this, I might actually have a chance with her," Bing Tianyi thought to himself.
"Bro, this girl is pretty nice. I didn’t expect there to be so many beauties in college. Come on, let me go ask for her contact information," Pang Yu said with a smile as he tentatively approached the girl.
At that moment, Wu Zhaojun frowned and whispered, "Can you guys act a bit more like men? This is the university entrance, not in front of a hair salon. Can’t you at least behave like college students? Doing something like this is just ridiculous!"
The group was taken aback; even Bing Tianyi looked somewhat dazed. He glanced at Wu Zhaojun and curiously asked, "Hey brother, why have you become so kind-hearted all of a sudden?"
"Sigh... At the beginning of humanity, hearts are inherently good; nature is similar but habits differ. Isn’t it because I’ve been following you that I've become better?" Wu Zhaojun replied candidly with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi quickly waved his hand and said, "Alright, you can stop putting that high hat on me. If it's about doing something beastly, let me be the beast."
As he spoke, Bing Tianyi strode directly over to the girl.
"Hey, beautiful, you dropped your money on the ground." Before saying this, Bing Tianyi casually tossed a Hundred-Dollar Bill onto the ground.
Wu Zhaojun and the others were left speechless. This old trick might work on high school girls, but could it fool a college girl?
Sure enough, the girl turned her head to glance at the ground, then looked at Bing Tianyi and softly said, "Sorry, that's not mine."
"Oh, then it must be mine. Wait a moment, are you that major?" Bing Tianyi felt a bit awkward and quickly picked up the money from the ground, stuffed it into his pocket, and jogged over to the girl.
Seeing Bing Tianyi's inquiry, the girl did not answer but stood her ground and asked directly, "So what do you plan to do?"
"It's simple; just answer three questions for me," Bing Tianyi said with a playful grin.
"What if I say I won't answer? What can you do about it?" The girl looked at Bing Tianyi with her bright almond-shaped eyes.
Bing Tianyi gazed at her face, feeling his heart flutter again as some rather inappropriate scenarios flashed through his mind. He smirked at the girl and said, "If you don’t answer, I guess I’ll just have to follow you around from today on."
Being cheeky like this was something Bing Tianyi would never have done in the past. However, now he felt that sometimes such methods could resolve issues that seemed impossible to tackle otherwise.
