Two people walked and stopped, finally finding a dilapidated temple not far from the forest. This temple was even more run-down than the one Yui had found earlier, with dust flying everywhere, cobwebs covering the ceiling, broken tiles revealing numerous holes, and the air inside was suffocating.
Liu Fu Yeno ran out with a look of disdain, coldly saying, "I don't want to stay here."
No matter how shabby his palace was, it felt like paradise compared to this place. Moreover, he had a cleanliness obsession; spending a night in this dusty heap was unbearable for him—he would rather endure the cold wind outside.
"Why are you so picky? It's just one night; you can make do," Yui said as she blew here and swept there, finally cleaning up a spot. "Come here; this place is clean now."
But Liu Fu Yeno stood at the door like a statue, arms crossed and back turned to Yui, showing no reaction and silently protesting.
"You... you can do it!" Yui took a deep breath. She endured it; he was her Benefactor, and doing something within her ability was only right. Fine, if he wanted to stay in a clean house, then so be it.
She ran outside, widened her eyes, and with a flick of her finger, the raindrops on her forehead glimmered and shot towards her finger, forming a light blue halo that pointed towards the dilapidated temple.
In the blink of an eye, the temple transformed into a magnificent mansion, shining with golden light everywhere.
Yui looked at Liu Fu Yeno as if seeking praise. "How about it? Are you satisfied now?"
Although Liu Fu Yeno knew she was a deity, facing so many incredible things at once was still hard for him to accept. After staring blankly for a moment and hearing her words, he managed to squeeze out one word: "Vulgar." Then he stepped inside.
"What do you mean vulgar?" Despite the cultural gap with humans, she understood that word meant her dazzling display was considered tacky. What’s wrong with that? Don’t humans love shiny things? If they didn’t like it, why step inside? Such a contradictory little ghost—just like before!
After entering, Yui found Liu Fu Yeno standing there in a daze. She shouted, "Aren't you going to rest?"
Liu Fu Yeno turned around as calmly as possible. Facing her innocent expression, she felt a surge of anger. "Do you have any logic at all? Creating an empty big room is useless! Don't you understand that sleeping requires a bed? Why didn't you create another bed?"
