Five more days passed before Liu Guanfeng slowly opened his eyes one night. The first thing he saw was Zhang Yuru leaning over his bed holding his hand.

With that, she turned and ran out of the room.
Not long after, chaotic footsteps were heard outside. The door was pushed open, and Zhang Diba entered the spacious room with a group of Cui Wenwu and other officials. Earlier, Zhang Diba had called everyone together to discuss the matter of ascending the throne. Just then, Zhang Yuru rushed in to say that Liu Guanfeng had woken up. This news made Zhang Diba lose his focus on the discussion, and he immediately said, "I will go see him."
After saying this, he took Zhang Yuru and hurried to the back. Upon hearing that Liu Guanfeng had awakened, the other officials discussing matters with Cui Wenwu thought they should also go check on him. Thus, everyone followed Zhang Diba and his daughter as they made their way to Liu Guanfeng's room.

You should rest well yourself." After saying this, Liu Guanfeng took out a small porcelain bottle from his pocket containing some restorative pills beneficial for her health.
Zhang Yuru looked at the small bottle and asked, "What is this?"
"Some pills."
"I'm not sick, so why would I take medicine? I don't want it." After saying that, she handed the porcelain bottle back to Liu Guanfeng.
Liu Guanfeng did not take the small bottle: "This isn't medicine for treating illness; it's just to strengthen your foundation and regulate your body. If you take one pill and meditate in bed, by tomorrow you'll know the effects. If you lose weight, I'll be heartbroken."
Zhang Yuru's face flushed: "You're so slick with your words; I'm ignoring you." With that, she turned and left with the small bottle.
After seeing Zhang Yuru leave, Liu Guanfeng shook his head and smiled wryly. Zhang Yuru's temperament was truly peculiar, sometimes crying and sometimes laughing. Is this what women are like? Liu Guanfeng thought to himself.
After calming his emotions, Liu Guanfeng called Little Black over. Little Black was not too surprised to see Liu Guanfeng; over the past few days, he had sensed that Liu Guanfeng was doing fine and seemed to have grown stronger. So when he saw Liu Guanfeng today, he didn't show much reaction: "Senior Brother, thanks to your Fighting Qi last time."

Liu Guanfeng rode Little Black with his attendants to the place where Black Eagle was held. After greeting Elder Yu upon arriving at the courtyard, Liu Guanfeng led his people into the yard. At that moment, Black Eagle was reading in his room. Hearing noises outside, he thought it was the guards and didn’t move at all.
Once Liu Guanfeng instructed his attendants to set up the food and wine, he called out to the room, "Black Eagle General, please come out."
Hearing someone call his name, Black Eagle put down his book and walked out of the room. He was surprised to see Liu Guanfeng: "Didn’t they say you were unconscious?"
"I just woke up this morning. So, Black Eagle General, are you interested in having a couple of drinks with your Younger Brother?"
Without hesitation, Black Eagle sat down on the stone bench.
